Daylily Spa Salon

I had previously gone to Daylilly Spa Salon for over two years. I was always happy with the service and outcome of my visit until the last 2 times. I went in for partial highlights with Molly K as I had done many times before but this time my hair was extremely DULL looking. It looked like I had just done it myself with a product from the grocery store! I let it go and when I came in the nextr time (a few weeks ago) I mentioned it and she replied "that is because you had partial highlights" What a lie! I had partial highlights many times before this and never was it DULL. Anyway, this time I had full highlights. It was SO BAD that I called to get my money back which the manager graciously did. I felt that Molly K was very much not into doing my hair that day. Focussed on anything but my hair! She was inattentive and "rough" on my head and hair from the foil to the rinsing out etc. My only hopes is that noone else has to go through this! I will NEVER go there again and would not ever recommend it to anyone. I went to a different salon where they could not believe the color and the bad highlights I received. In the end, what a difference from Daylily Spa Salon!! more

For Christmas I bought my wife a gift certificate from Daylily Spa Salon. She just had her first massage there and it was amazing! She said that the staff was super friendly and the massage was top notch. The front desk (very knowledgeable) then helped her find the right products (a great new hair product line called Sojourn) she was looking for. They are an Aveda Family salon and full spa. My wife explained to me that they primarily focus on Aveda but carry a couple other top lines (i.e Bare Minerals) so there's something for every need. When I went in to buy the gift certificate I was very impressed with the style and ambiance of the place. This was confirmed by my wife. She later found out that they have the capacity for large parties which she is already excited to plan. She has tried numerous salon and spas and this was by far her favorite. She just found her one stop shop for all of her service and product needs and I just found the perfect gift to give. Guys, you can't go wrong! more

first thing i found was it's not concept..i didn't know there is a difference but concept spas only use aveda and have custom way of doing it. if you go to the aveda website it list all concept spas (wish i would have known that) I could tell as my facial was not aveda concept and my massage was not either..i was not taken on a sensory journy (pick your aveda oil) before and i missed that. massage was ok just missing the aveda concepts in it. customer service was ok..i went on a sat and some younger girl that didn't seam to know what was going on was there. more
