My experience at Daybreak salon is always wonderful....best salon downriver...most talented hairstylists...friendliest people...everyone there is nice and helpful! ....stylists are up on all the latests colors and cuts...top notch! ...keep up the good work.....and thank you for always making my visit so enjoyable! more

New customer feedback 11/7/2011

Visited for the first time on Saturday, November 5th as a new customer and frankly, could not have been more impressed. Friendly, gracious and efficient front desk staff. My stylist was prompt, friendly and genuinely interested in understanding my needs and spent considerable time with me evaluating my hair type and understanding what I was looking for. Great outcome and wonderful service. I will definitely be returning! more

My experience at Daybreak Salon 11/6/2011

I had a very positive experience. My stylist was very friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. The color, cut and style was just what I asked for. The pricing was comparable. I had asked for someone good for a person with a lot of hair and I was given that person! The manager came and talked with me, when I was waiting which I really appreciated. I would return and recommend this salon to my friends. more

I love coming to Daybreak whether it be for an appointment with my awesome stylist Shannon or stopping in just to buy products. Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere and I always leave refreshed and feeling good. Also love Aveda products! more

Massage-Swedish with Veronica 10/30/2011

It was my first visit to Daybreak. I was given a gift certificate from a good friends who has always spoken highly of her experiences at your spa. I was treated very professionally from the time I walked through the door. I arrived early for my appointment but was taken right in. Veronica was wonderful! My massage experience was wonderful - very relaxing. I definitely will be recommending Daybreak to friends and family and will be returning for other spa services as well! Thank you! more

recently i lost all my hair and what lil new groth i have i must say mary trimmed and colored and styled it to where i feel like a new person,i was very sad when i walked in the salon but left feeling like a princess.i want to thank you mary and you have a wonderful staff it felt so good to have them talk to me and be concerned,AND YOU HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL SON AND DAUGHTER.blessings to all of you their...vicki connole more

  • The history of Daybreak Salon began in 1973, when Mary Toffoli opened "Mary's Beauty Boutique" in Southgate, Michigan. Two years later, Mary married Gary Rushlow and soon changed the name of their salon to "Headway". For over 30 years, Mary and Gary owned and operated their salon while raising three children, Jacob, Jerad and Jenee. Jerad and Jenee followed their parents into the family business and in the fall of 2007, a new chapter was born with the grand opening of "Daybreak Salon & Spa" in Woodhaven, Michigan. Here at Daybreak, the tradition of great talent, professionlism and history of treating each client as a guest continues for the next generation.
