Just love her she is awesome love my new nails I actually stopped bitting them and now have a little nail showing and she is so encouraging makes you feel special! Can't wait for next appointment. Also will have second hair cut with Amanda and loved my first haircut I have found my new salon! Thanks Patty more

Great Stylist 2/2/2012

I have very thick coarse hair, my hair REQUIRES a razor cut. It was refreshing to get a stylist (Alicia)who was very skilled with this type of cut. Very happy with services. Search for a good stylist=over. Will definetly be back. more

AWESOME! 1/30/2012

I had an amazing time! The staff had A-Game faces on the whole time I was there. My sister came with me and come the end of March her and I are doing the Spa Day package. I think I have found my new spot for all my extras! A special Thank-You to Michelle for the extra minute she spent with me :) more

Daybreak always has fantastic service, friendly workers, and a nice atmosphere. I went in wanting something different done with my hair, but not exactly sure what. The stylist gave me some advice, and only took a few inches off at a time in case I started to not like the cut. I'm so glad I let her do what she wanted because it turned out great! Always happy with my experiences here. more

neti massage allergy/sinus 1/26/2012

I have to say this was a wonderful experience for me. I suffer from sinus and allergies all the time, and it was all worth it. Melissa was Wonderful, and the neti massage was so relaxing and soothing. I would recommend this service to anyone who suffers from sinus and or allergy issues. Thank You so much. more

My thank you gift 1/24/2012

I recieved a gift card from a friend as a thank you for helping her. I was treated to a facial and an hour massage. I compared it to a very high end facial and massage I had in California~so very close to being the same. I liked it so much I will return in February as a treat to myself for my birthday. Looking forward to my pampering time. more

  • The history of Daybreak Salon began in 1973, when Mary Toffoli opened "Mary's Beauty Boutique" in Southgate, Michigan. Two years later, Mary married Gary Rushlow and soon changed the name of their salon to "Headway". For over 30 years, Mary and Gary owned and operated their salon while raising three children, Jacob, Jerad and Jenee. Jerad and Jenee followed their parents into the family business and in the fall of 2007, a new chapter was born with the grand opening of "Daybreak Salon & Spa" in Woodhaven, Michigan. Here at Daybreak, the tradition of great talent, professionlism and history of treating each client as a guest continues for the next generation.
