The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly however the massage I had was not as relaxing as I had hoped but part of that was my fault in that i did not speak up to say ...

My first visit at Daybreak Salon 11/23/2011

When I made my appointment to my suprise I got a e-mail from Daybreak Salon..What a nice way to welcome a patron into your solon, Then I received a second e-mail to comfirm my date and time also is very nice to have a friendly reminder also a map, telephone number. When I arrived at Daybreak I was greated with a nice friendly smile and welcome to our salon. I also met my Jen she was so professional told me what she could do for me also expained the price up front so no suprises at the register, while I was waiting with my color I had a wonderful hand and arm massage it made me feel so special. My daughter Sheryl Moreno told me about Daybreak salon. she had a great experience also, Now my daughter Fran Bellino is coming to have her hair done too.. thank you very much JIll Kettinger more

Bridal Party 11/23/2011

I was part of a bridal party that came in. We were all taken back quickly and my hair and makeup was completed quickly and done very well. My two issues are 1) I was separate from the rest of the bridal party, which was kind of a bummer. 2) My sister (the bride) was under the impression that we would be provided with mimosas and muffins (or something of that nature). I didn't make the appointments, so I'm not sure what actually was arranged. more

Deep Tissue 11/21/2011

Had a deep tissue massage with a female therapist (don't recall her name) this weekend. Massage was more swedish and less deep tissue. Service was on time though. more

The atmosphere was very peaceful. Amanda did my pedicure and was amazing!!! Myself and 2 friends went together, all the girls who worked with us were fabulous. Very polite, personable, funny, and good at what they do! Would come back every day if I could! more

Bad Bang Trim 11/18/2011

Disappointed this time. Came in to get my bangs reshaped a bit, not necessarily shorter. The stylist said they needed to be longer, but unfortunately, she cut them much shorter and now they will not do anything. more

  • The history of Daybreak Salon began in 1973, when Mary Toffoli opened "Mary's Beauty Boutique" in Southgate, Michigan. Two years later, Mary married Gary Rushlow and soon changed the name of their salon to "Headway". For over 30 years, Mary and Gary owned and operated their salon while raising three children, Jacob, Jerad and Jenee. Jerad and Jenee followed their parents into the family business and in the fall of 2007, a new chapter was born with the grand opening of "Daybreak Salon & Spa" in Woodhaven, Michigan. Here at Daybreak, the tradition of great talent, professionlism and history of treating each client as a guest continues for the next generation.
