David's Abbey Carpet and Floor installed a hardwood oak floor for us. It's very nice. The workers that came and did the installation were very nice and worked really hard. They finished the job in a lot less time than I thought. It was a really good experience, and I have already recommended them to other people. more

I am currently using Davids Abbey Carpet and Flooring for a tile job. I just want to say that I've never seen so much dis-organization and mishaps as I've seen with these guys. I used David's Abbey Carpet & Floor for the first time a year ago and they were exceptional. I shop around quite a bit and they always have the best price. They've been the quickest to come install my carpet and they took care of the job right away. I continue to use their service because they have been prompt every time and have always completed the job in due time. more

My salesperson, Richard, went out of his way to help. He came over and took measurements and made suggestions for what might look good after telling him what we were looking for in engineered hardwood. Went to store and checked out options in my price point and picked out what I liked. He let me take a few choices to see what looked best in the house. The transaction was easy. My work schedule is weird but Gary was able to accommodate my request with ease. Victor and Victor showed as expected and got right to work. I don't believe I have ever had such good service at my home. They worked non stop for a day & 1/2 which was 1/2 the time it was expected to do job. They were nice, courteous, friendly, kept everything as clean as the could. I cant brag on them enough. I love the outcome and so does everyone I've showed it to. I've been using David's Abbey Carpet & Floor for over 30 years. They have always given me good service and treated me right. The first time I used them was during my second marriage. My husband had used them before, and I went to the doctor the morning they were supposed to put the carpet through the house. They mixed it up and put the wrong carpet down, but they fixed it without any arguments. I stick with them because they treat me right. I got an estimate for work not too long ago, and the estimate from the other party was double the price David's gave me. The work they have done for me is beautiful. Everybody comments on how pretty it is. They are nothing but great, and I would use them again. more

David's Abbey Carpet & Floor put down a floating wood floor and then put down new carpet in two rooms. Everything went fine. The installers were very nice. They came when they said they would come and everything went smoothly. It looks great! They're good company to have work done with. more

We're going to have to have them back after the holidays to do a little stretching on the carpet, but that's normal. The installed tile in our kitchen and carpet throughout the rest of the house. We went to David's Abbey Carpet & Floor when we needed new carpeting in our master bedroom. The selection was absolutely great. They had everything we could have wanted and then some! We dealt directly with David for the sale. He made it such an excellent experience for us. Within four or five days, the installers came to do the job. They tore everything out and completed the installation on the same day. They arrived early and stayed late. They would not leave until we were completely satisfied. I decided to buy the two guys some pizza because I felt so indebted to them at how much effort they were putting in. They were just outstanding, and the carpet came out perfectly and beautifully. We were extremely satisfied. This is the ONLY PLACE you need to go to for your new carpeting needs. There are other good places in town, but I would not recommend any of them nearly as much as I do David's Abbey Carpet & Floor. Their sales experience, their purchasing, their show room, and their installations are UNMATCHED. I would do it all over again! more

I was very pleased with the flooring I got from David's Abbey Carpet and Floor. We picked them because they were based in the Knoxville area, and we wanted to support their business. They offered good choices for carpeting to choose from, and I thought the salesperson, Ellie Rogers, was attentive and worked well with the requirements that I had. The installers came in about the time they said they would. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was rainy that day, and they were concerned that the laminate wouldn't sit well, but they worked on it, and it seems to be doing great. We were pleased with the final outcome, and it matched what we had in mind exactly. Glad to support the great, local businesses in our area! more

I've had multiple experiences with them. For the most recent, they replaced carpet and hardwood in a house that had around 2900 sq ft. The work turned out lovely. I don't expect anything but good quality work from them and that's what I get. more

David's Abbey Carpet and Floor put down tile flooring in my kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. They put carpet down in two bedrooms and the stairwell as well. There was a little mix-up where the tile guys came a day or two before they were scheduled to come and we had an issue when we disconnected the refrigerator water we didn't realize it was leaking in the basement until the next day. That resulted in a rather big mess but the tile guys were here when we found the leak and the carpet installers fixed it for us. All in all the workers were friendly and easy to work with. The guys at their shop in Knoxville carried in a huge piece of granite for me which was so heavy and they worked with me to match our granite flooring. more

We bought flooring from David's Abbey Carpet and Floor 15 years ago and came back when it needed replacing because we were satisfied with the product and the service. We had tile installed in the bathroom and flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen. They come when they said they would and have done a good job. Richard has been the salesman we've worked with. I was trying to get a house ready for sale so I had to have all new carpet put in the house. David's Abbey Carpet & Floor helped my pick out the appropriate carpet and pad and some vinyl floor for the bathrooms. It took no time at all. They ordered the material right away. It arrived as promised. The best part of the whole thing was the installation crew. The two guys that came in treated my house with respect. They were pleasant to work with and did what they said they would do. They didn't scuff the wall. It was just excellent. more
