Dahn Yoga is as much a spiritual philosophy as it is an exercise modality. Does the workouts help you become more physically strong? Do they increase your energies? Does your confidence grow? Yes on all counts! I'm evidence of those achievements.\r
Some readers will ask, ""Will Life Particles cure all my ills?"" There's no shortage of those who practice Dahn Yoga who will attest to being healed. And still there continues to be no shortage of people who are suspicious, doubt and shun the idea that you can receive the energy particles of the universe and that you can influence their impact on your life.\r
What I can say about this is: Look, I am no paragon of Dahn Yoga virtue. Nor am I an example of how Dahn Yoga has entirely healed my every ill! I struggle. Every day I struggle with the demands of the material world. The spiritual beliefs of Dahn Yoga are in alignment with the world of quantum physics. People seem to be in one of two camps about this issue: those who embrace the quantum world and those who don't..\r
That split makes sense to me actually. After all, we have over three thousand years of celebrating the fruits of the materialistic view. So these quantum ideas that all material is only particles and that all particles are both particle AND wave. We Americans have a culture that proclaims, ""Material above all other,"" which we see in win/lose strategies, building a retirement portfolio, bragging rights about our children's accomplishments, hanging our diplomas on our walls, our job title, and our annual income. It makes sense to me that we hear of Dahn Yoga's philosophy and we start looking over the top of our glasses, the inner voice in us says, ""yeah, right!"", and we look, in a material world way, at a quantum paradigm.\r
I could go on, but the reader has already been kind to follow my reasoning to this point. So suffice it to say that I don't believe you can experience a quantum-world through a material-world perspective. At this point in the evolution of these paradigms they are separate. Integrating them will take time.\r
Do we have time? Does the planet have the time it will take until there is a unified paradigm that bridges and synthesizes both paradigms? Many will tell you no. It's simpler than that, though, You don't have to be a ""tree hugger"" to want health, happiness and peace for yourself! You can accept the challenge to participate in the struggle to integrate for yourself the quantum-world and material-world paradigms.\r
You should participate in Dahn Yoga to experience, for yourself, how you directly benefit and how your thinking about life, other people, and the future of the planet changes. I encourage you. I call upon you. I entreat you to not let the grasp of the material world prevent you from allowing your body and your mind to explore the beauty of the universe and it's elemental energies.\r
Dahn Yoga and the wonderful people of the Schaumburg Center are there to assist you on your journey.
