Da-Les Auto Body Shop

It can't get better than Da-Les Body Shop. I brought in my 08 BMW. They did a spot-PERFECT JOB. They noticed that the BMW body shop that repaired my car last had messed up, and FIXED THEIR JOB. They charged me LESS than the estimate, cleaned and polished my car, set me up with a cheap rental car, and finished early. The owner met me when I dropped my car off and when I came back to pick it up. Could not be better customer service. I live in Los Altos and will make the drive over and over again. They are worth it. more

Manny Maseda is the man. He is friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and HONEST! He took the time to explain everything we needed to know and help us find the most cost-effective and savvy option, and even recommended the option that was not in his best interest! A estimator that puts the interest of the customer above his the business?? Yes it exists right here at Da-Les Auto Body! He insisted on buffing out our paint scuff right then and there, and yet STILL refused to take any money! He even took the time the following Monday to call the insurance company to stand up for me and make sure they gave us what we wanted. Manny, Lisa and everybody at Da-Les body Shop are AMAZING and I completely trust them wholeheartedly! You will not regret bringing your vehicle here.\r \r more

1) Accident\r (2) Freak out\r (3) Drive/Tow (damaged) car to Da-Les Auto Body in Sunnyvale\r (4) Do nothing because THEY DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU\r \r Some jerk rear-ended me and the quote from the insurance company was almost $500. Went over to Da-Les Auto Body to get it fixed, just to find out that the real cost of fixing my car was twice the amount. But thank god the good people at Da-Les body Shop had another insurance inspector come in and I didn't have to pay a cent! And my car looked brand new!\r \r Not only did they fix the damage from my accident, they got the insurance company to cover the other bits of scratched up paint and things that didn't come from the accident. Sure, the guy's insurance company is paying for damage that is technically my fault but that jerk shouldn't have been texting and driving in the first place!\r \r I wish I would never have to come back here again because I don't ever want to get into another accident. But should I be unfortunate and need to fix my car again more

Splendid service and high quality workmanship. Mike was very friendly and easy to work with. They took care of me from the second I set foot in the shop to get a quote, providing courteous interactions and free soft drinks while I watched TV in their clean lobby. more

The other driver paid me cash to settle based on some quotes I received. Da Les Body Shop quoted just a bit lower and Mike first tried to find a used door in the same color to save me money. That plan didn't work out but he found a suitable used door, which after paint & labor, came out 70 bucks cheaper than his original quote. Mike even called me every 2 days to update me on progress. My car was completed exactly when they promised and it was immaculate. The paint blend looked perfect and door worked without any problems. \r \r Da Les Body Shop even detailed the car for me, cleaning my leather seats, waxing the exterior, cleaning my wheels and even cleaning the engine bay! Their thoroughness and attention to detail is second to none. Just take a look at my pictures; their work speaks for itself.\r \r more

This is one business that deserves waaaaaay more than 5 stars because:\r \r 1. They are of the utmost and highest calibre of professionalism \r 2. Truly exceptional communication skills \r 3. Honest and up front. Phone calls were made when promised, estimates were on point, told me what they could and could not do from the beginning.\r 4. AND they dealt with my shenanigans. I wouldn't even want to deal with my shenanigans!!!\r \r Let me telllllll you:. This all started with a hit an run on the bay bridge at 2am in the morning. I got hit, they ran!!! \r \r I'm back in Sunnyvale by 7am, so the first thing I do is start checking the internet for autobody shops. Da Les Auto Body had such great feedback that I called them at 7:30am in the morning expecting an answering machine to tell me hours of operation. Lo and behold, Lisa, the receptionist, picked up! This was a Monda morning mind you.. But Lisa was courteous and professional. I don't think their garage is open so early, but she explained that I could come right in even though they don't open til 8:00 am\r \r Once I get there, Manny the estimator checked out my car gave me his honest opinion, he helped me call insurance (because I hadn't done that yet), and after I told him this was my first accident ever, he told me what was most likely going to be happening in the next few days and what I needed to do. \r \r This man better have VIP admission to heaven!!!! \r \r After everything is done, he calls a rental car for me. \r \r Take your car here and enjoy your peace of mind.\r \r Da Les is one of the most frieldly shops around. more

Da Les body Shop was on the list. I also called my favorite mechanic who specializes in my car manufacturer for recommendations. Da Les was on his list. I decided to go with Da Les on my mechanics recommendation, just because I trust him so much. Unfortunately, in the process of decision making, Manny , my estimator at da les called me to ask if i wanted to scheule in. Instead he asked me which one I chose them , and told me about how they are a great shop etc., and explained the insurance process in a little more detail, etc. He was informative and helpful. He's an all around salt of the earth kind of fella. If I didn't have such an affinity towards supporting my mechanic and the body shop he recommended, I would definitely go to Da Les Body Shop. Hopefully, I won't have to though! Fingers crossed.\r \r more

From Manny helping me through the process, to Mike overseeing my repairs, to Lisa's tour of their facilities, I was impressed beyond belief. \r \r I wasn't sure what to expect cause I went based strictly on everyone's Insider Pages posts, but I was so blown away. I got my car back within four days. They not only swapped out my slightly damaged bumper from a before xmas fender-bender caused by a drunk driver, but completely detailed my car! That was the best my car has looked since I purchased it. Their detail job apparently is so good, people ask for the service. Manny said unfortunately, you could only get it if you're car is hit. He showed me all of the cars that they were working on and they do their jobs the right way, dropping engines if necessary. \r \r I will only trust my future auto repairs with these guys. But as a family suggestion, I took my car there.\r \r The service you get from Manny (estimator) is great! Really good customer service and he works with the insurance company so you don't have to. His work is top notch! \r \r In case I need another car body repair...I know who to call...but I hope I don't need to visit a body repair shop anytime soon!\r \r more

I was immediately greeted when I stepped in and the first thing they did when I came in was offer me a seat and a beverage. All the people I dealt with were respectful, kind, and answered my questions with open minds. \r \r The work done was awesome as well. I had a bumper replaced on my Honda Accord as well as some other parts and to this day, I have had no issues with the parts or paint job. All of the lines where the bumper meets my frame and the other parts of the car are proper distance and correctly aligned. I bring this up because I had bad experience elsewhere. From n more
