0 ZERO STARS.. The staff is very rude. When you walk in the door they don?t even greet you. I was able to get a key to see the apartment. When I returned a Fat Caucasian man was the only one there. He was the worst of them all. Didn?t want to answer my questions and gave me an attitude. He didn?t even let me fill out an application. If he knew how much money I make, he would have begged me to take it. He also gave me a hard time returning the $50 deposit for the keys I borrowed because I couldn?t find the receipt he had given me 30 minutes before. Good thing I found it! Fraud company who makes money by application fee 11/8/2011

They will charge you application fee and not approve because you forgot your 10 year rental history. They have very few properties available that are good. Their main business is to collect application fees by listing apartments at very low price and attracting appiicants. Then when you ask about your approval, they will say that it will take long time to verify and they will ask to provide 10 year rental history with contact information that is updated. How would you track down 10 years of rental contact that is updated? more

I'm very sad to hear such negativity! When I went there to find a place everyone was so very helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a place sooo bad and quick. They helped me more than any other agency. I have to disagree w/ the person that said they were approved and then just shown bad places. The reason I say this is because, they dont even let you apply until you've seen the property, and you are sure thats what you want to put your application and pay your $25.00. I never felt like I was being discriminated against, I never felt like all they wanted was my money, and I never felt like I was being taken for a ride. I now have a beautiful house that I have been very happy in for over a yr and a half. Any time that something is wrong and I tell maintenance, they come out right away and take care of the problem. our building was forclosed on ,cwp left notices for us to call,we all called ,,told them we did not know who they were ,and we were going to call our landloard,they said that if we didnt let them in they were going to come in anyways,WHAT NOWAY are you going to come in my apt,i told them to buy my lease ,out she said no i told her all my money was tied up 1,500 on deposit,i told her i would sue them for it, she said they would win i asked her how she said an bank now owned our apt and that they had more money than me ,for 1 week now this old bat has come to my apt at all different hours trying to get in the final straw was i was at work my 12 year old daughter was at home ms old bat told my daughter to open the door my daughter said no she didnt know who she was,she said i called your mom and she said it was ok my 12 year old daughter said no way im on the phone with my mom,we called the police and made and report,less make it sweet and short and old lady comes to your door asking you to give them your rent,you ask for proff they give you none,what do they think i am stupid i dont know them ,no id no legal papers just an old lady saying give me money,she was rude as hell,never giveing you an answer to any of your questions,and when she asked you something and you answered she said you lieing i dont belive that well heck if you new the answer to the question you asked me why waste my time and tell me im lieing,so i told her to please leave my home she said i will be back with an lock smith to get in i told her ok just bring and pillow she said what was the pillow for i told her i said you could not come into my house till you showed me legal proff of who you were,and you keep threating me with you will just come in i even told you to wait hear i would call the police to see what they thought of you and what you were doing and so i could get them to sto you from harresing me but you keep leaveing before they come hmmmm dont seam rt that you want to come in and when i get the police involved you leave so ok come back with lock smith and pillow cause if you open my door you will hear and pop and i dont want you to hurt yourself when you fall,she looked at me and said what does that mean ,i looked at her and said open door and see,she never has so she nos what i mean,all i want is to live with out being harresed everyday,show me legal papers saying what you are attempeting to do and like any law abbiding erson i will do so but till then no money honey take me to court and lets see what an judge says cause i oened an acct and b of a to hold my rent money till some one showed me legal papers saying who i was to pay rent to,is that to much to sak for run people run dont use them Pros: liers,rude,rude, Cons: you will be homelees messing with them more

Horrible People 10/1/2009

My family and I lived at a CWP apartment for one year and our experience was terrible. Our troubles began at around 6 months into our lease with a leaking pipe from the upstairs unit bathroom. The problem was never completely resolved even until the end of our lease term and we felt compelled to move out. Throughout this ordeal I tried to call the office to get some results and the office manager was rude, disrespectful, ignored my call and raised her voice at me when I finally did a chance to speak to her. She said they were working on it, although we never saw any satisfactory results. It was this treatment and the fact the repairs were never completed that prompted us to file a lawsuit against CWP. I'M GIVING THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY A THUMBS DOWN BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ME AFTER MY APPLICATION PROCESS INCLUDING THE $25.00 APP FEE AND A HIGH CREDIT SCORE. I EVEN HAD GREAT REFERENCES FROM PAST LANDLORDS! I PASSED EVERYTHING WITH FLYING COLORS AND THEY STILL SENT ME TO PLACES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPARED TO NEW JACK CITY. VERY DISTASTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONNAL ATTITUDES EXCEPT AN EMPLOYEE NAMED PHYLLIS WHO DID TRY IN THE BEGINNING TO ASSIST BEFORE THE 25.00 APP FEE! Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service. Maintenance is extremely slow (if you're lucky) and the management service is extremely cheap. Plumbing leaked, shower would go cold or scolding hot at random, and stove would turn on at random. They didn't seem to care. If you're reading this...can't say you weren't warned! Do not ever use them. They are the nicest people to get you in there once they have taken your money, they don't give you the time of day. They are rude, lazy, unprofessional, and unethical! I tried to get my house rented through them and pulled it off the market after two months of getting the run around. I went through another property management place and got it rented in one day. If you're looking to rent, they don't even go with you to the place, their lazy butts give you a key to check it out yourself. How are they supposes to rent a place like that? LAZY !@#$! I am still waiting for my deposit and keys. I do not recommend them at all. I only gave them one star because I couldn't go forward without rating them. In my opinion they are not worthy of a star. Professionalism can change like the wind 3/18/2007

Uh, this company is OK. They're not the best in the world. They can process their work a bit quicker. Sometimes I feel like they are taking their time with the work even though it can be done in a quicker manner. So don't expect spectacular service. It's mediocre at most. One day the workers can be friendly, and the next they can be a you know what. I guess it depends on their mood. So if you find a place that's a good bargain, I guess you can suffer a bit through the process. After the process, you won't be bothered/irritated by them. more

WORST PROPERTY MGMT 12/23/2006

I give them a 1 out of a 10 only because I feel sorry for them. If i didn't have a heart, I would have given them a 0. They are really lazy when it comes to processing their applications. I was really surprised by their behavior because I have never seen such a thing. They would lie to you almost every time you talk to them. They are NOT truthful in the way they handle their company. I got so tired of them that I went to another place to rent an apartment. There are definitely other property managements that treated me better than CWP. I am glad I didn't rent anything from them. It also seems like they discriminated against me because of my race. They were nice to white people when I came into the office, but they treated me and my friend like dirt. We should not have been treated the way we were treated considering the fact that they had a diverse work group. They are NOT WORTH the TIME at all! If i were you, go to another place before you enter HELL! Pros: pros? hahah, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When I moved here I could not get over the rent shock -CWP was patient by just letting me look and look w/o question. Then one day one of the CWP Property staff called me about a cute house I had looked at, liked, but thought too high. They made this effort to call me because the landowner had dropped the price - and they knew it was the only one I truly liked. What I noticed was how personable they were in recognizing my 'culture shock' and just trying to help me. I still live in this cute little bungalow. I would go back to CWP if I had to move again.
