Staff was horrific. Seems like a badly managed place. Food was OK, but I don't trust it based on the service. Not a place I'd take friends. I will never return. more

The service was good, the wine was good, the seafood ceviche appetizer was great, the atmosphere was good. Now the bad part, the steak. I ordered a NY Strip asked for medium rare and it was medium. It also tasted like the grill needed to be cleaned. My wife ordered the Filet cooked medium and it was cooked well done. They brought another Filet and it was cooked medium rare. You would think a steakhouse would know how to cook a steak properly and clean the grill. The cuts were not prime either. My wife's Filet was stringy and tough and my Strip was no better than what you get at a grocery store. For the $162 we spent we definitely did not get our money's worth. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You would get a better meal at Longhorn, which by the way I don't like either. more

I didn't think it was possible to have a bad steak that cost $42. I was wrong. Our night started off very well at cut 432. We had a reservation for 9pm but arrived early and they sat us at 830. Then, myself and my fiance ordered glasses of wine. The wine was recommended by our waiter. After this, everything went down hill\r \r We ordered the oyster rockefeller. This was discusting. it tasted like baby food. It was some mixture of oysters, bitter spinich, and cheese. It looked nice but tasted awful.\r \r Then after 30 mins of waiting, came our meal. I ordered the 12 ounce filet and she ordered the 8 ounce filet. mine was $42 and hers was $36. We both have never been there but for those prices, and what we ordered, how can they mess up. Boy we were wrong. My steak was awful. Cooked correctly but no taste. It didn't seem like they used any salt or pepper. It was so bad, i couldn't finish it. I COULDN'T FINISH A FILET. I thought it was just my steak until i tasted hers. Same thing. Bland, no flavor. I would stay away from this place. Its like they are trying to be a fancy steak resturant, but they couldn't execute. more

Not Worth It- Go to Tryst Instead!! 11/28/2011

Went on a Tuesday evening with a friend for drinks and appetizers. They have bar specials, which we were there for since we're both on a budget. The bartender handed us menus, my friend chose a drink listed on the menu, I just had a glass of wine. The waiter then proceeded to say how they don't make half of the drinks on the menu anymore which seemed strange to me. He said they're in process of changing over menus items. Then he completely ignored us the rest of the evening. I've gone to many restaurants that do this bar bit for happy hour. I've always had the same service as if I were buy their best filet instead of some mac and cheese. The food was delicious and relatively reasonably priced. I wouldn't go back again though, mainly because the bartender was so awful! more

I was hesitant & deterred to venture into 432 the day prior. Fortunately, it popped up on urbanspoon as one of the few happy hrs on Atlantic. Happy hr is a great way to get a feel for a restaurant . The bar has a nice selection b/w 5-7 on drinks & appetizers. Nothing was disappointing and this itself would make Me want to revisit. more

I took my wife here for dinner last night and it was absolutely amazing. We started with the tuna tartar and the grilled cheese this alone could of been a meal. The grilled cheese with the braised short rib inside of it along with the side of homemade tomato soup will be our new happy hour snack of choice. For our main course she had the filet and I went with the dry aged ribeye. Both steaks were amazing and could perfectly. For desert we split the cheesecake, that was so light and fluffy tasting it was hard to believe it was cheesecake. The waiter recommended the Toro Gran Reserva to be paired with the cheesecake and it was spot on. This was truly an amazing meal and we will be back in the near future for drinks and appetizers during their "social hour". more

Signature salad, grilled cheese (short rib/truffle tomato soup) and the fantastic wine list are some of the reasons this restaurant is an all time favorite. Great staff from top down make it a total pleasure every time I've dined here (30+ times). more

Best Food and Service I have had in a long time!!! From the time My girlfriend and I walked in the door we were treated like royalty. From the wine list to the drink list, dinner menu and desset list is extraordinary. Truly the best steak I ever ate. They have aside variety of dry aged beef, Kobe, and your "wet aged" beef which is what we are all use to getting. All USDA Prime and seafood fresh off the line if steak isn't your thing! If you haven't been, you are missing out. Chef Anthony Pizzo puts together a phenomenal menu that is consistent! Service was extremely professional yet made me feel right at home, wad like they knew me for years which goes a long way in my book! more

Doesn't Cut It 9/27/2010

This place is small and crowded and poorly laid out. Open kitchen made it smoky and hot. The food was good but extremely expensive for sliders and mac and cheese. But what prompts me to write is the terrible service by an arrogant hostess, waiters who were inattentive and rude and an indifferent owner. This attitude obviously comes from the top. Save your hard earned money and get a good steak elsewhere without the attitude! more

Poor dining experience for our party of six. "Intimate" means small and poorly designed. Open kitchen kept atmosphere smoky and noisy. Crowded and cramped and unisex bathrooms are in the kitchen. Staff were rude, prices high for food and cocktails. Food was good but overall experience was not a good one. None of us will return and would recommend for a steak...go somewhere else more

HEALTH RISK!!!\r While walking down to have dinner on the Avenue , I noticed a POD in the back of a group of retailors being used for storage. At first I didn't think anything of it, but after taking a second look I saw food was being stored inside. Then I became even more curious. Surely a restaurant was not storing food to be prepared in an unconditioned POD (if you don't know what a POD is, it's a portable metal storage container). After looking around and asking a few questions to the locals, I found the POD was being used by a restaurant, CUT 432 to be exact. Down here in Florida, storing food in a POD is like storing food in your car day after day then getting it out when you're ready to eat. This made my stomach turn!!! After taking a second look, I saw that the food was stored right next to cleaning chemicals. Food can not be stored next to chemical due to the potential of cross contamination. This is completely unacceptable for a restaurant. Based on this carelessness of food storage by this restaurant, I can only imagine how they handle food during preparation. I would NOT expose my friends and family to this potential heath risk. I HIGHLY recommend you don't expose your friends and family to these risks by eating at this restaurant.\r -B. Frank more
