We needed a car to take us to an Oakland hospital for an outpatient procedure. We expected to return home early evening but were asked to stay over night. I called and offered to pay for an additional ride but was only charged an extra small amount. The original cost was very low and the car lovely and clean. The owner- driver couldn`t have been nicer. We couldn`t have asked for more. more

Hello my name is Katherine. Last weekend, me and my seven girlfriends used a limo from Crystal. Our plans included just a night out bar hopping and seeing the sights because three friends have never been in Pittsburgh and the other five of us are 40 plus and very (almost never) rearly go out on the town. Not knowing much about renting a Limo, I thought the price we paid was more than fare for the car that was sent and for the service we had. Not knowing where to go or what to do, we relied on our driver Pete to take us to the hot spots for people our age and for us women to feel safe. Not only did Pete take us to fun & safe places, he gave club passes with his name on them in order to get in with NO Cover Charge. After we left the last bar, Pete took us up to Mt Washington for the view of the city. After the very impressive parallel park job on Grandview Ave in that long Limo, Pete graciously took pctures of us on the overlook, with all of our individual camera and phones, making us laugh and taking great pictures. The following review comes from a group of people that use a car service six to eight times per year, being honest with myself I must tell you that we are all a little picky about customer service because we all represent a company that builds its reputation based on happy customers. The transport industry in Pittsburgh is saturated with jokers that don’t believe in maintaining their fleet, or taking the proper steps to make sure the person behind the wheel conducts themselves to the highest degree that our driver Bill did that evening along with providing a well maintained unit that was stocked with spirits.\r 90% of the time we often times always get a bus unit because of the larger size and the limo’s ride often times are so terrible because most transport companies don’t believe in changing things like shocks and breaks… most limo’s if you travel in this manor a lot ride like old haunted houses. This ride was maintained, to the highest degree.\r The driver (Bill) we required some special attention and made a last minute call to travel a little bit out of our ways, Bill asked that if it was OK with us if we could get out of the Southside a little earlier then 2:00 he could get out of the city due to a concert and provide us a safe ride home. And just like that… we called Bill… in 10 minutes he was there… big smile… asked if we enjoyed ourselves, counted us all, and we went on our way…. Bill was just… amazing. On our way home that’s all we talked about was how awesome the service we’ve been provided was, the pricing, and most of all Bill. \r I spoke with the owner in regards to how thankful we were, and he asked if I would share my story online. I NEVER go out of my way to offer a thank you, the customer service industry is a thankless business, but this business knows how to really blow people that are hard to please away. I called this company after seeing so many rave reviews, and personally spoke with Tom. Our conversation lasted about 20 minutes and I prefaced it with giving him my budget for the evening. I know now why this company has been in business for so long, they honestly care about their customers and the experience that they can add to a special day is priceless. Needless to say, I am extremely excited to celebrate my 30th birthday next month with Crystal Limo Service there start to finish! more

I'm so glad we found this company! We used their transportation services last minute and they we great with booking us and kept to their word. We were hesitant that their prices and service would be to good to be true but they were honest, on time and fun to drive with! They saved our event day and made it a relaxing and reliable time! This is by far the best and most affordable limo company in Pittsburgh. I have booked a limo 4 times now with Crystal Limousine. I have had an outstanding experience with them every time. They are always on time and the drivers are the nicest people you could meet and are extremely eager to please. Every time I go to get quotes for limo service, Crystal is at least a few hundred dollars cheaper than every other limo company in the area. Also when you book with Crystal you deal directly with the owner Tom. Tom is a great guy and after talking with him you know how much pride he has in his business. more

Last week I decided to rent a limo for my mom's birthday. The idea came to me at the last minute so I frantically called around for rates only to find that renting a limo was likely out of my budget. Then three days before her special day I was driving down 19 and saw a sign for what seemed like a really good limo deal. I called the number on the sign (931-LIMo) and Tom explained that the deal was for groups of 12 or more. I thanked him for his time and with a sad voice said, maybe some other time. He either heard my desperation or wanted to make a sale. Either way he offered me a deal even though I only had 5 people. I was able to rent a limo and pick my mom up on her birthday which was a total surprise to her. The driver showed up 15 minutes before his scheduled time and was very courteous. The bar was stocked with vintage looking glass decanters which I thought was charming. I was a little disappointed that our sunroof couldn't open and that we forgot to bring our own CDs. The radio didn't get very good reception. Other than that, Everything was great. We had a shiny white limo. It was very clean and did not smell fishy or smoky (like other reviews mentioned) and let me tell you I have an obsessive nose that knows. The driver took us all over the city (including a trip for us to play pin the tail on the donkey under Kaufmanns Clock) and was always close by to pick us up in between destinations. The most important thing is that my mom felt very special :-) Thanks Tom, for hooking me up at the last minute!!! more

I did not have to check around for a Limo service....I had many friends tell me to call Crystal Limousine LLC, on Rochester Road and let them know what I needed. They were so kind and attentive to my needs and the cusotmer service is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Nice people, nice business and nice experience. My boyfriend and I booked a car to take us to a Penguin game. It was one of the biggest games of the year so we wanted to make sure everything went perfectly. I called and spoke to Tom. He answered every question I had and was helpful and funny. The night of the game, our limo arrived right on time. Kevin was our driver. He was professional, funny, personable and basically everything you could ask for in a driver! He dropped us off right at the door and was there waiting for us as soon as we walked outside. He even got us away from the crazy Flyers fans quickly ;) I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great limo service for a special occasion. I know we will never go to another Pens game without them! more

I scheduled a special evening on the town with and for my grown daughters. I called, per their website instructions and the owner was awesome, made everything very easy! Our driver was just as awesome and gave exceptional service! He showed us the sights of downtown Pittsburgh, made sure we made our dinner reservations and stayed in contact. Crystal has been nothing less than amazing the past 10 years I've done business with them. Does anyone really think that after a limousine company has been in the business for over 20 years that it would still be surviving after all the ""bad"" experiences people have been posting? Think about, there has been over dozens of limousine companies in Pittsburgh that have gone under and after 20 years Crystal is still going strong! Did it ever occur to anyone that all these negative reviews are competing companies trying to make Crystal look bad? Clearly. more

I utilized Crystal Limosines for my husband's 50th birthday as a surprise. Tom was wonderful in assisting me with the planning, and our driver Randy was pleasant and professional. The car itself was brand new and beautifully detailed. This truly was a wonderful addition to the birthday celebration. I would not hesitate to use this service again! more

We had a horrible experience with Crystal Limosuine. Recently, I was married and used their service for our big day. It started out with them being 30 minutes late to pick us up, so we were late to get to the church. Which was followed by my maid of honor getting black stuff all over the side of her dress whenever she got out of the limo right before the ceremony. All of the staff at the church were rushing around and trying to scrub it out of her dress, but they couldn't get it out. Wheneve the limo picked us up after the ceremony I said something to them about my maid of honors dress and they told me that it wasn't them, she must have gotten something on it herself. He didn't help her out of the limo at all, and she put her dress on right before we got into the limo so it was from the car. THAT was followed with the driver rushing us when we were getting pictures taken because he had to pick someone else up, but they were late to get us to begin with so we didn't care. AFTER that, he dropped us off at the reception area to take pictures before the guests arrived, and as soon as I got out of the limo, I had that black stuff alll over the back and side of my wedding dress!!!! And he continued to say it wasn't from the limo!! It was the exact same tarry stuff my maid of honor had on her dress. How does that happen TWICE but they say they aren't responsible? So I had black stuff all over my dress right before pictures so my party had to keep moving my dress in different ways to try to make it not show. Worst experience ever with this limo company! more

It was my friends 21st birthday and we knew better than to try to drive, so I started shopping for Limos to take us out for the night. Not only was the man on the phone the nicest that I dealt with, the prices were amazing! Usually when you get such a bargain you expect a less than awesome experience, NOT THE CASE HERE! The limo was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Our driver, Randy, was amazing, dealing with 14 drunk people would drive most people crazy, Randy was the exact opposite, he let us have fun, gave us some suggestions on places to go and laughed right along with us! I couldn't have asked for a better night out! Thank you Crystal Limousine for making my friends 21st the best night ever! Next time I need a limo, I won't even shop around, I already know the best place in town!!!!!!!!! more
