Crums Climate Control

I bought a new Trane air-conditioning unit from Crums 3 years ago and the fan has already gone bad. I understand that things happen but I called Crums Climate Control first thing this morning for a service call and although the equipment is under warranty, Crums does not have the time until Monday to service the unit. I was told that they do not work weekends and are all booked up! My advice before investing thousands of dollars on an air-conditioning unit is to call around and find a company that is available to supply service within a reasonable amount of time. I called another company and they came out within 3 hours of my call to diagnose the problem. The part has been ordered and my air conditioning will be up and running in a day. more

Crums installed a HVAC its been great for 3 years. We had a problem during Florida's record setting cold weather. Tech polite and friendly. But that where it ends. They said the could not locate the part so 2 weeks with out heat. I went to Shoreline Distributors on Hanging Moss and they had the part off the shelf and installed it in 30 minutes? We paid Crums tech $89 and he never returned. I was also a sucker for the maintenance program at $125 each year if they cam or not. more

I am suspicious about all of these reviews i wonder if real customers put these in. Please notice most of them fall in the same month and there is like 27 of them and all have 5 stars.. The customers even remember the techs names even last names, and there is not even one typo in any of the comments, looks like a secretary wrote all of this not real customers. If this is true then they must be awsomeeee but i doubt it. Im sure they are probaly not bad or perhaps they are who knows? I would ask a city mechanical inspector on their opinion or a neighbor that might of used them. I am a hvac technician with over 15 yrs experience and im not taking any business away from them i work in a resort but have worked for ac contractors in the past and believe me when you do a good and honest job people will recommend you, no need to write glowing 5 star reviews about yourself to attract customers, you know what they say "if its to good to be true it probaly isnt". I might have a couple of typos but thats ok if you are a real person just trying to let the buyer beware... Best of Luck. .... Raul more

I "interviewed" 3 other companies prior to choosing Crums and I am glad I did. They were professional, helpful, and courteous. The installer Roger was very knowledgable and unbelievably professional. I am used to some workers being loud, using foul language, playing loud music....not Roger and his crew....all business! And my salesman did NOT feel like he was "giving me a line" like some of the other salesemen. Your Company just installed a new air condition system in my home and want to thank you and the installer, Lucky, for the professionalism during that installation. Your installer and his helper were on time and finished earlier than I has anticipated. They left the installation areas cleaner than they were originally. I want to take this opportunity to praise one of your employees who has helped me so much with all my questions and concerns regarding my new installation. We are clients of Crums for many years, we had a service contract with you for over six years. We recently had our old air conditoner inspected and serviced (an appointment I made thru Karen). I was truly impressed with the tech who came out and did this inspection. His name was Jayson and he was very professional. I was also impressed that you were endorsed by Channel 9 news. I made an appointment with Karen again for a salesman to come out and review what was available for a more energy efficient unit. My air conditioner was working and in good condition, but I wanted to make a change since I am updating my home. I have had several concerns regarding the installation, the unit I purchased, and the forms to complete for warranty and rebates. Karen was so professional and has assisted me in every aspect with this installation. I am uncertain what her position is with your company, but she coordinated everything I needed and has put me at ease in regard to all the items which were greatly on my mind. I also had the opportunity of dealing with Vanessa, and she was also very pleasant. I hope you realize how important that your office personnel are, and that you reward them for a job well done and for the impact they have on your clients. You have heard several complaints from me in regard to my installation, but Karen has handled everything for me. She deserves an increase in pay. She definitely knows your business, and more importantly, she knows the true meaning of customer service. Please see that she knows what a pleasant experience it has been speaking with her over the phone, and how much we appreciate everything she did to conclude our concerns.
