An order was called in to a male worker for a pick-up time of 11:45am. The order wasn't ready until 12:15pm. Our union carpenters can only take lunch from 12-12:30pm so they had 10 minutes to eat their lunch. The two fruit salad sundaes and an order of chips were not included. When we called, we spoke to a man again & told him about the order missing a few items. He said he went over the order on the phone so if it?s not on the receipt than it wasn?t placed. We told him we?re sure we placed the order for these items and he asked if we were calling him a liar, and then proceeded to tell us not to order from them again and then hung up on our co-worker. She was very shocked! I checked the receipt and we were not charged for the fruit salad sundaes but we were charged .60 for the chips (open food item-on ticket). I am the person who placed the order and I circle the items as they?re read back to me so that I am sure they?ve been accounted for, as I am held responsible if somebody does not receive their lunch. The items were circled, and when the man read the order back to me, he did not say the single order of chips, so I remember having to confirm that he had chips written down, and then he said yes, though again, we did not receive them. I feel as a small-business owner in today?s rough economy, such rude behavior from an employee should definitely be brought to their attention. I honestly hope it was not an owner who treated his customer in such an unprofessional way. We spent roughly $200.00 per mo. w/them. The customer may or may not always be right, but the customer is always the customer, and to be treated in such a manner is uncalled for. We sent a letter to the three owners letting them know about our horrible experience, but nobody replied. Needless to say, we haven't ordered from them since.
