I grew up in the St. Louis area and sadly I am 34 years old and just discovered Crown Candy. I took my boyfriend there for something different than the norm. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated but if you have the time it is worth the wait! There is so much to look at. They have the little individual jukeboxes on each table, unfortunately they don't work but still neat to look at. The grilled cheese, roast beef and cheese and chicken sandwiches are all good so I imagine that everything else is too. Save room for dessert even if it just a scoop of the daily flavor. The next weekend I took my grandma there for lunch and she loved all of the memorabilia. A walk down memory lane.
Pros: great ambiance and tons of stuff to look at. ICE CREAM !
Cons: bit of a wait to get seated. not good for large groups
