Horrible, they broke my power steering pump 9/3/2011

I went in to get an oil change and a headlight replaced. Their replacement headlight burned out with three days. Even worse, they managed to break my power steering pump while changing my oil. It cost over $1000 to repair, and had worked fine before they laid their hands on my car. Finally, when I got the power steering pump repaired (at the dealer this time) they said they had changed my oil because Crossroads had used a cheapo brand. Crossroads may be nice but they are truly incompetent, and are only busy because they are so cheap. more

Manners 8/9/2011

Good: Service and oil change was quick and on time. Bad: The customer service person was at the front dest eating and talking on the phone. His manners were awful. He needs to go eat where people cant hear him.. Improvements: Waiting area needs be better kept up. There is no internet wifi or tv. What are we to do while we wait ???. more

Honest and Trustworthy 12/6/2010

Good: Service & the ability to make an appt. for an oil change. Bad: nothing. Improvements: Maybe more chairs in the reception area. Other: I have been taking my cars here since 2000. they are honest, punctual and trustworthy-very important for any woman(or man for that matter) dealing with car maintenance or repair.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.. more

Worse customer service 7/27/2010

Good: David, He always took care of my family and its 5 cars. Bad: We have been taking our 4 cars to Crossroads since we moved to this area. The only one worth talking to is David, who actually thinks you might be equals and are worth sitting in there waiting room while they eyeball you and try there best to make you feel uncomfortable. We recently received a few coupons and needed to take two cars in for oil changes one for a allignment and a new one that needed a head gasket replaced. The first car we took our total was $98. So I call ahead of time and talked with David. Improvements: If you get an exact quote and call twice and ask about services, amount to be charged and coupon to be used, that when you arrive they stay to there word, not tell you that you are $2.13 short so you can no longer use your coupons, "why dont you go and try to get some more money and will see what we can do" Disgracefull????. Other: Customer Service is just that its about the customer and giving them what is promised.. more

Honest people 11/28/2006

I brought my car in to have repaired what I thought was an electrical short (since my battery and alternator checked out OK at the local parts store). They ran a diagnostic test and told me that the alternator was bad. However, after I explained the symptoms of the problem and that the alternator had already checked out good, they went back with this additional info to re-check their work. They found a fuse that had gone bad. They replaced the fuse (which remedied the problem) & didn't charge me for the fuse or for the diagnostics - AND apologized repeatedly for wasting my time. I believe Crossroads Automotive to be an honest and reputable business. more

Godd Work, but... 8/24/2005

OK, I guess they do good work. But, at what expense? This is the only automotive repair shop I know of where the lobby is staffed with suit & tie specialists (glorified receptionists) who take care of you. I am thinking that the paychecks for this additional staff is what makes their service so expensive. Too many "frills". Too many charges for "diagnostics". Just give me a greasy guy who knows what he is talking about and can fix my car for the least amount of money possible. more
