Well-Earned Reputation for Honesty 9/21/2013

I took my 2006 Toyota Corolla in for its 100k service and was given an estimate of about $450. I felt that was reasonable considering the list of "to do's" Toyota had on the recommended service list. After checking everything out the service techs at Crabtree determined that several items on the list were still perfectly fine and did not need to be addressed at this time. My $450 estimate turned out to be only about $175! You can be sure I will be recommending Crabtree Automotive to my friends and I will be returning for any future service! more

They gave me an estimate on a couple of things such as transmission flushing etc. I had to save up to do this, so it took a couple of months. I took the car and estimate in and also found my car very low on oil. I was without the car for one day. Got it back under budget and saw things itemized but only what was needed. THey did not pad labor charges or oil disposal (almost empty so nothing to drain in quantity) Very pleasant group to deal with. The shop ultra clean. more

Crabtree Auto is the ONLY place I will take my car for service and repair. The staff is professional, very thorough, and has the knowledge to keep the car in good repair all the time. I know that with their care, I can depend that my car will take me wherever I want to go safely. Their friendliness and good customer servics is so valuable to me. more

If it's broke these folks WILL fix it. When nobody else seems to have a clue, these people DO. In short, this is an honest, no b/s auto repair shop. Unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way. In the last 38 years I have been to almost every auto repair shop there is in the Alb./ Corv. area. Wish I had found this place sooner. Could have saved a LOT of $ over the Yrs. more

Small Town, Home Town Service, Again. 8/17/2013

Ok, where to start. NEVER, have I gotten the type of service from an automotive repair service, that I have received from Crabtree Automotive. People of Albany and surrounding areas, if you are not using Crabtree Automotive for all your automotive needs, you ARE missing out. The new alternator on Rebecca's Mitsubishi went out the other night, and Crabtree got her in very quickly and determined it was a faulty alternator. Needless to say, they replaced it without charge, living up to their warranty promise. You folks are tops in my book, and will always be the "doctors" for all of my autos. First Appointment with Crabtree 8/12/2013

I normally dont like dealing with auto repair shops because they talk around me. Crabtree was amazingly helpful and they made sure I understood everything that was going on with my vehicle. Everyone was so pleasant and honest. I will be a customer for years to come. Thank you! more
