I came on June 25th for a manicure / pedicure. I have been getting the gell-ish nailpolish at another salon for roughly 4-5 mons. When I spent the extra money on the gels at your salon.. I feel like a brand new woman. Laurie, my hair stylist was very professional and made me feel elegant when I left. She always made sure that what she was doing met my needs. I had a color done last week and a perm yesterday. She asked me if I wanted a coffee or tea. I felt so comfortable. I felt like Cinderella when I walked out the door. Thank you for making my experience wonderful. I also want to say how great Chelsey was at the front desk. Her bubbly personality makes you want to come back again. Girls were great. Feet first, girl couldn't get get enough of polish out of bottle that was gloppy and almost empty. Asked for a new bottle but there was no more of color. Proceeded to milk bottle to finish. Now there was not any color left to do my finger nails. Tried to match color to toes. Looked ok until I was outside and not good. One was purple one pink. Next day I showered and put dishes in dishwasher to find my nail polish had chipped on my hands. I have never had problems like this with the polish chipping so fast. I have had polish on for weeks with doing more then showering and putting dishes in the dishwasher. Very unhappy with polish. more

The girls that did my nails were very nice and did a great job. I wasn't happy when she went to do my first foot that the girl was struggling to get polish out of the bottle which was almost empty and seemed gloppy. She asked another girl when could she get a new bottle, her reply was when it was gloppy or empty. She finished one foot and tried to get more out of the bottle but ended up going to get another bottle. They didn't have any more of that color. She then tried her hardest to finish the job, which she did. Now there isn't any of that color for my hands. I had to choose a different color. I wasn't happy with that. The next color bottles looked the same from holding them next to each other but after getting outside in the light they were not even close. I wasn't very happy with that.I had asked for the name of the hand polish so the next time I could get the same color. No, it was a discontinued color. The next day my hand polish had chipped off after just taking a shower and a putting a few dishes in the dishwasher. I have never had polish come off after doing so little. I guess in all the service was great and polish experience was poor. I have been here several times and never had a complaint. Just disappointed in the polish. more

I enjoy going to Corto's Salon very much. My Hair stylist Madeline is always so giving of her time and expertise. I think she deserves a "raise". She goes out of her way to make your visit a total experience. Dominic is also the best as a owner. The Salon is a state of the art shop. I travel a lot, but I always come back to Corto's. First impression is everything and this place was not customer friendly! I was walking around the village and passed by the salon to get prices for a haircut and color. I walk in and no one acknowledged me. I made eye contact with one of the stylists and she just looked away, no one welcomed me in. It was not a good feeling - just a weird vibe that they weren't happy that I was there. I had never been to this salon and right when I walked in, I wanted to just walk out. All of the stylist were busy and I understand that but to give such an unwelcoming vibe is not OK! I waited for ten minutes and I was greeted by the receptionist. She was nice but by then I made up my mind about this salon. Even though I have yet to experience a haircut or a color at this salon I wouldn't go back. more

THIS PLACE WILL NOT STOP SPAMMING ME! Normally I would never take the time to sign up for a website to review somewhere but this place is ridiculous. I went there once to get my nails done and now I get something like 2 emails or so a week. I don't even remember giving them my email? I think I've clicked "click here to stop receiving emails" at least 10x. The emails don't stop. Whatever you do do not give these people your email... more

I've seen better. Rude staff/management. Cut only so-so for the price. I can do better elsewhere. Probably not going back. more

I can't believe they still have clients. I went there in December with a picture of a simple bob cut with bangs. I had never been there before so I didn't request anyone specific. A woman greeted me (very friendly) but told me how this is her 2nd career. She must've barely passed her boards to get a license because I was completely embarrassed and just wanted to get out of there. I looked ridiculas. I had an uneven, HORRIBLE cut that my fiance said made me look like a boy. Called angrily the next day because I needed to have my hair in a teenie ponytail because there was nothing I could do with it. I was not going to walk around like that and have never had to get a redo before. I left a message on their machine & didnt receive a call back. I called again and spoke with someone & they told me to come in. There was a wonderful stylist there that took an hour and a half to correct my cut. She basically had to cut off all my hair because it was so uneven. I did get alot of compliments on that cut though! She did a great job. So when I needed a new cut I made my appointment with her. I drove from Cheektowaga to get there and when I arrived I was told she no longer worked there and they had another stylist. UGH!!!!! NO!!!!! Well, here we go again & he proceeded to cut and slice & razor my fine hair to nothing when once again I just wanted an inverted bob. He told me I could fluff it up when I got home & was once again sent home from Cortos looking like a fool. Well I certainly learned a hard lesson & now have a wonderful stylist that evened my cut and sent me home to grow out all those awful layers I have in my super fine hair. I have only had a few massages before this one, but this was my first at Season's. My back and my neck have been bothering me for a while now and let me tell you the minute I walked into that place my muscles instantly relaxed. The staff was so receptive and made me feel extremely comfortable. I went to the Hamburg location and the therapist I had stretched my muscles in ways I didn't even know they could. Unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and only had time for a half hour massage, but let me tell you I will be clearing my schedule here shortly for at least an hour with her. I had been a regular client of both Seasons & Cortos for my hair & nails & so I chose to have all my services for my wedding done between the 2. This review is only for services at Seasons- Cortos was wonderful to me & I am loyal to them... The week of my wedding Donna (Seasons Mngr) called me to tell me that my nail tech had been in an accident & could not do my nails. She did apologize but at that point she shld have offered someone else to do them or some type of compensation on other services ( I was also having makeup done there). Although very angry, I still had my makeup done there (Holly is awesome!), but I will never go back for any other services. Donna needs some training on better servicing loyal clients or she will lose more of us. more

I happened to receive a gift certificate from a friend last Christmas for a massage at Season's in Hamburg. At first I was hesitant to go to a spa since I am a guy, but once I entered, I was immediately welcomed with a friendly greeting and serviced with hot cider and fresh fruit. The place has a warm feeling to make you feel right at home. I really liked the overall tranquility even while I was waiting for my treatment. When my service began, the therapist made me feel comfortable when I told her this was my first time. The blankets were really warm...and the fabric felt like hotel sheets...afterwards, I felt so stress free and relaxed, esp since I had been doing heavy lifting earlier in the week. After saying goodbye and thanking the therapist, I was so impressed by the professionalism and service that I bought $250 in gift certificates for my wife and family. I went to the Orchard Park location first for a facial. I was told that the facial was supposed to be an hour, but since the beautician started 15 minutes late, it only lasted 45 minutes. I felt like it was rushed and unprofessional because if they were going to start late, they should have still given me the full hour, especially if I was paying full price PLUS a sizable tip. After that, I had to run over to their Hamburg location because I wanted a DETOX wrap as well but the Orchard Park location didn't offer that. I waited another 15 minutes before I was lead into a room, then they ran out of WRAP so I was left laying on the table while the girl ran around looking for some plastic wrap. She came back 10 minutes later saying that she couldn't find any so she had to put some plastic bags over me. WHAT THE HECK???? She wrapped me up and only allowed me to lay ther for another 10 minutes before she rushed me to take a shower and get all the mud mix off my body (she had another appointment after me, but she had started off at least 20 minutes late). A DETOX wrap is supposed to allow you to sweat out all the toxins in the body and the 10 minutes that she wrapped me in some garbage bags DID NOT do the trick. All in all, it was definitely not worth my time and the $100 that it costed. I would not recommend this place to anyone that's looking for a real professional and relaxing spa.
