My daughter had a 3 oclock appointment. She arrived at 2:30. wasn't even called back to the exam room until 4pm. Dr came in at 4:30. She was just there to refill her prescriptions. Some pain medications and heart medications. Her blood pressure was high when she got there due to her pain. And she was passing a kidney stone. (who she sees a specialist for) She used to just be able to go in, ask for her refills and go on with her day.. (And even that took at least 2 hours!) This time she had to fill out a booklet of paperwork, take a drug test and sign a contract. Then the nurse asks her what hospital she was seen at recently and she told her and reminded her that she was seen for her kidneys, not her back. The Dr then rushes in a yells at her that because she did not sign the release, he was NOT going to refill her prescriptions!!! And stormed out of the room. Not once did anyone ask her to sign anything, nor did she refuse! She simply reminded the nurse what she was in the ER for. (Since every time she goes in, she has to remind them what year the pain started and where the pain is and what kind of pain it is!!) **Shouldn't your ""Primary Care Physician"" already have this pertinent information on file??** \r Then again, this is the same office that when they changed their refill policy, (""everyone must come in for ALL refills) wouldn't refill her heart medications until she came in and since everyone has quit working for this office its hard to get an appt in the same week!! She was nearly having a heart attack when she got to her appt her blood pressure was so high!! Right! This is the same office that will offer to call EMS before the Dr gets out of his chair 10 feet away to come ""care"" for his patient. Bet he would have done it for another Co-pay!!\r I have advised my daughter to find another ""Primary CARE Physician"" And I hope EVERONE else does too!! Unless you dont mind being treated like a ""Chart Number"" more

The waiting area looked pretty much the way I expected...kinda old, etc. but I was a walk-in so I wasn't picky. Even though there were 5 or 6 people ahead of me, I was in a room within a half hour. The nurses were very nice, front desk very nice as well. The FNP (Kevin) was in there with me in about ten minutes. I needed all my asthma meds (had run out of all of them & my old doctor had moved) and I was in an emergency situation. He knew I'd been an asthmatic for 49 years & that I knew what I needed...he respected my opinion & didn't try to change up my meds like some docs will do (which really irks me) Also prescribed antibiotics & cough med, gave me a shot. When I was done, they didn't ask for any money, so I asked what I owed. The receptionist just said they'd file it & bill me for any copay since it was obviously an emergency & I already had five scripts to fill. That was really thoughtful. Also, Kevin called the scripts in so they were ready by the time I got to the pharmacy. One wasn't covered by insurance, so pharmacy called doctor & they changed it IMMEDIATELY, didn't make me wait for hours like a lot of places will do... I didn't have to call all day and go all the way back to the pharmacy. If you don't mind a place that's kinda raggedy, I recommend it. Some of those more modern places will really gouge you. Overall, I was quite pleased & I'll likely go back there. more

Horrible service dr is nice and good. 5/31/2012

Horrible service dr is nice and good. Staff ie nurses are horribly rude and have horrible bed side manners. I will not be back. First time I went to this office I waited forever people that got there after me were being seen I went to complain and the said that they had lost my file. I was finally seen at 4 pm I arrived at 2. I went again today just to have perceiptions filled the staff was horrible four warming one coloring in a color book and to sitting in the front chatting. They have way to many nurses and they all need to be trained on bedside manners and respect Or fired and replaced. I let them know how I felt about their services and they reciprocated with nasty comments. I cannot wait to talk to their boss.. It is disrespectful and rude and if they are going to choose to work in that type of environment they need to learn to be courteous and nice. I also think it is false advertising that outside it says open late nights and weekends. When they really aren't. I won't be back!! And I will let everyone I know about there tenashious behavior and bedside manners.. What happened to kindness??? I will be sharing this information via Facebook twitter and my blog more

Lack of knowledge,Rude and they do not give a crap? 4/25/2012

Apr25th,2012 I arrived to do a random urine test.at 11:10am.The mexican woman at the counter told me to come back. I asked why?She replied that we only do randoms from 9am-11am and 1pm-4pm.I explained that i only have 30minutes plus travel to get here to get the test completed. Can i get my HR Rep to call and talk to you about it.'She replied that I really don't care what you do cause I am going to tell her the same damn thing. I called and told My HR Julie about the situation. We then agreed that I should come back at 1pm. So I came back at 1pm I sat down approx.1:10pm. i waited, and waited finally the young new girl told me that i needed to sign in and i did. still waiting.another 10 minutes passed then she asked me what i needed so i gave her the form that i was told to bring with me.another 10 minutes passed then she was reminded from another coworker there to get my Drivers license. The other women asked her several times if she needed help and she refused their help and said that she was new and needed to learn how to do it.I had been waiting at least 45 minute.and I drank a few bottles of water before i got their.then it hit me i had to pee so bad my stomach started hurting and i could not sit still. so i started paceing around in the small lobby.and there was a guy infront of me that could not pee ,he kept drinking water and flushing the toilet to make himself pee he would go in and out,in and out.Now i was about to blow up.I asked if i could go to the restroom .she told me that i was next..i even ask for the cup if i could go ahead an pee in the cup.10 minutes passed and she said your next. Then she started getting very hatefull. I told her that i am about to do it in my pants.I need to go really bad.I told her that if i cannot pee in here i cannot hold it much longer and i will find something and go pee in my truck. It started getting more crowded in the small lobby.i was paceing around getting in peoples way. So i stepped outside for a minute cause i thought i was fixin to pee myself.right outside the door i started jumping around and moving to help control my urge to pee.i walked back in and asked can i go to the restroom now cause this is it i am gonna do it in your floor.she refused to give me the cup to piss in .SO I RELIEVED MYSELF..i Went back to the desk. Then she let a person go in front of me.i told her that you said i was next. She said you went outside. and i am making you go back to your office to get another form. she stated once you sign in you are not allowed to leave this office.there is nothing posted anywhere stating this.she said it was her rule and i am going to put down that you refused to take a urine test.i told her that is screwed up.i then called my HR rep to discuss the incident and she had to call corporate office she even got into a slight argument with the new girl. The people working at this medical corridor in san marcos texas are the most unprofessional,Rude and very uncareing. And just by observing their actions you could tell that they did not want to help anyone. And I hope the company i work for cancells their contract with San Marcos Medical Corridor. I will never do business with these people ever again and i will do my best to report them to their agency of malpractice and negligence..or who ever i need to contact. more

extremly horrible 3/15/2011

about 3 months ago i went in after i got off work and arived there at 5:37 pm. well they close at 6pm. as i went in i said i'm so sorry for coming in last minute but i really need to see a doctor for an infection on my knee, it might be staph. As their sign and comercials say ""Open Late"" I didn't think it would be major problem. Boy was I wrong!!! The girl at the front desk informed me that the doctor has already left for the day since they were not busy but even if he was there, the last appointment that they take is at 5:30. I asked why the hours said from 10am -6pm and ""open late"" when 80% of people get off work at 5 pm and live 30 min way. she had no response nor really showed any care or consern. I wounld NOT waste my time here. more
