Review content:
The waiting area looked pretty much the way I expected...kinda old, etc. but I was a walk-in so I wasn't picky. Even though there were 5 or 6 people ahead of me, I was in a room within a half hour. The nurses were very nice, front desk very nice as well. The FNP (Kevin) was in there with me in about ten minutes. I needed all my asthma meds (had run out of all of them & my old doctor had moved) and I was in an emergency situation. He knew I'd been an asthmatic for 49 years & that I knew what I needed...he respected my opinion & didn't try to change up my meds like some docs will do (which really irks me) Also prescribed antibiotics & cough med, gave me a shot. When I was done, they didn't ask for any money, so I asked what I owed. The receptionist just said they'd file it & bill me for any copay since it was obviously an emergency & I already had five scripts to fill. That was really thoughtful. Also, Kevin called the scripts in so they were ready by the time I got to the pharmacy. One wasn't covered by insurance, so pharmacy called doctor & they changed it IMMEDIATELY, didn't make me wait for hours like a lot of places will do... I didn't have to call all day and go all the way back to the pharmacy. If you don't mind a place that's kinda raggedy, I recommend it. Some of those more modern places will really gouge you. Overall, I was quite pleased & I'll likely go back there.
