Saved us in the middle of the night! 7/29/2015

Kyle with Core Air absolutely saved us! At 10pm our air went out and we have a one and a half year old baby. He immediately showed up with a technician and they had our air up and running by midnight! We are so grateful to him and his team! They were prompt, professional and knowledgable! We would recommend them to everyone! Thank you so much for coming to our rescue! more

We have been using core for about 8 years. Manager Kyle really cares and he always has done right by us. He saved us about $1000 when our pool company said our salt generator was shot and he sent a tech out to determine it was only a blown fuse. The tech that just came out to a house we bought worked so hard for a couple hours cleaning the AC, he said it looked like it had never been worked on, he also showed me how to clear my AC lines so they don't get backed up and cause any problems. I highly recommend Core Air! more

Preventive Maintaince 6/14/2015

I wanted to have my ac system checked just before the summer months to ensure the system was running efficient . I never had any issues with the system in the past , and was hesitate on who to call . I checked with neighbors and friends and heard about Encore . I called Encore , who arrived promptly and professional . The tech checked my system and cleaned the coils. The tech did what I asked him to do , and did not try to sell me a whole new unit . I was very pleased with the service, and if I have any future problems I will call Encore .... Thank you more

Do not use this contractor 6/1/2015

Once they were at my home for install everything was excellent. 4/19/2015

I wrote a review lambasting Coreair because they did not call me to let me know when they were planning to do my install. When the installer arrived they also got an earful. A call was made and the Owner showed up at my house within 20 minutes. He accepted responsibility for the lack of notification and told me he was truly sorry and that they would begin the install. About 6 hours into the install the installers ran into a problem. The compressor would not start. They rechecked everything and still could not get the compressor to kick in. Due to the fact that a family member has a condition that requires cooling they committed to not leaving until the A/C was fully functional. They discovered that the fault might be with a valve supplied by the manufacturer. A second lead installer was called in and arrived at my home. the 2 lead installers rechecked every part of the install and replaced the valve and the compressor started up supplying the house with A/C. It was a bit after midnight when they were finished. That's commitment! more

Cashed check prior to instal and claimed they would install on a certain date, still waiting to hear from someone. 4/18/2015

I gave Tom, 2 checks for an A/C install through Costco special services. I was told to post date checks to the promised install date. One of the checks was cashed and I am still waiting to have the install performed. Was told that install was delayed because air handler was out of stock. Tom called to let me know that the unit was in on 4/17 and that they would install on 4/18. It is now almost 12 Noon on 4/18 and no one has shown up from Coreair or has anyone from this establishment bothered to contact me to say when or if they are going to come today. This is totally unacceptable in this day of instant communication. I would think twice if you plan to use this company as they appear to carry on business like a Chinese fire drill. Costco may need to rethink using this company as their special services A/C contractor. Personally I feel like one of the kids in the Nationwide Insurance TV ad, completely ignored. I am also trying to figure out who wrote all of those glowing reviews on this site. more

air conditioning system 9/16/2013

wash air handler evaporator coil, wash condenser coil, replace thermostat batteries, flush out drain line, tighten al electrical connections, check voltage & amp draws, wax or armor-all outdoor equipment, wash out air handler drain pan, check refrigerant charge. more

Great to work with and very responsive! 8/22/2013

In addition to maintaining my multiple systems, Core handled a warranty issue with a pool heater (heat pump). I had previous problems with the same heater, but they were handled by a different contractor, and it was real hassle. Not so with Core...they took care of everything, quickly and with no hassle!! more

Exemplary company! 7/15/2013

We were in a bind, with no AC. Our old unit could not be repaired. Core Air, Inc. was able to come in, give us an estimate and do a complete AC install within 3 days. They took really good care of us. I thought their timing was exemplary because we had an elderly person in the house that needed AC. We will continue to use them for the maintenance of our unit. more

Core Air's sales guy was not pushy and he understood the business. He understood the difference between different types of air conditioners and I trusted his recommendation. When they were installing they seemed to take a lot of care to make sure the seals were done well and it appeared to me that they did a good job and worked hard to do it right the first time. more

The man from Core Air, Inc came out and gave me a price on the A/C unit and air handler. The air handler is in the attic so it was a tough job. They performed the task and stayed until it was completed, which took about 12 hours. They did a good job. more

Quality professionalism from a knowledgeable company. 3/13/2013

I had received a couple of quotes from other AC companies when I called Core Air. They sent out Tom who camed in and explained everything to us for a good hour. He told us more than the other two companies combined. Their price wasn't the cheapest but I felt the most confident in their knowledge and professionalism. Tom sold me on Core Air because he clearly knew what he was talking about. He didn't try to pressure me into buying things I didn't need, which the other guys had. The installers that came in later were equally professional. They called ahead and showed up on time. They cleaned up after themselves and explained everything. I have no regrets picking them and would highly recommend them to anyone. more
