I recently bought a custom made ring at Continental Diamond and was very happy with the experience. Paul Holewa helped me get an orange sapphire and pick a unique setting for my wife on our twentieth anniversary. Paul not only made everything easy, but fun as well, and it all fit nicely into my budget for the project. Continental Diamond is a family-owned business, and they know how important good service and trust is, especially with very personal items like jewelry, that, let's face it, are expensive. I went to several jewelers in search of the right engagement ring for my girlfriend. After no success and a few bad experiences my search came to an abrupt halt at this jeweler. They just made it happen. Keeping what I wanted in mind as I shopped is what stood out to me. Not just trying to sell me any ring, but scouring their selection to see if there might be something I was LOOKING FOR! Ended up they did have the setting I was looking for and went out of their way to get the stone I wanted (sapphire) ordered, set, and ready on time within my budget. Take my advice and start with a good jeweler instead of searching for one. OH YEAH AND ASK FOR ROZ! more

I was beyond thrilled with continental diamond and the engagement ring that I bought there. Linda was fantastic to work with! She was always keeping me up to date on how the ring was progressing while it was being made, and was very very personable. Ashley did a phenomenal job helping me design the crown for the ring! Once she saw the band, she had an immediate vision of what could work beautifully with it, and it turned out better than I could've ever imagined! It is truly one of a kind and absolutely gorgeous! I have been shopping at Continental Diamond for 25 years and the entire staff never ceases to amaze me! We have purchased so many pieces and each one is unique and beautiful. Jimmy knows us by name and always greets us. Beth is the best, she keeps track off all my favorites and lets my husband know what I want. We have had pieces designed and the designers always go above and beyond! Love Continental Diamond, there is no other jewelry store! Don't forget the fresh cookies either!! more

Laurel at Continental Diamond is the absolute best. She made the designing of my fiance's engagement ring with the help of Ashley of course the easiest and most stress free experience imaginable. She brought in stones for me to look at to allow me to find the perfect diamond for my future wife. The experience was so great that I have been back for birthday gifts and groomsmen gifts. The customer service provided by laurel through the purchase process of all these items have been the best I have ever had. The communication through phone and email is always prompt and if there is ever an unforeseen challenge that arises she more then meets it. I am confident that I will always be happy buying something at Continental and that is why I plan on buying more from them in the future. more

I can not say enough amazing things about our experience at Continental Diamond! My fiance and I looked at engagement rings at multiple different stores, and weren't finding ""the one."" Laurel at Continental Diamond then us to Ashley who helped my fiance custom design my ring in house. Throughout the design process Laurel brought in multiple center stones until my fiance found the right one. Throughout this process he felt no pressure from Laurel at all. The ring turned out perfect, and I get complements all the time. \r \r Due to our amazing experience we also bought all of our wedding party gifts, both of our wedding bands, and wedding gifts through Laurel. She provided us with choices we had never thought of before. Laurel is great about getting back to you quickly and keeps you in the loop throughout the whole process. No matter the price of the purchase you will get the same quality service. \r \r I won't shop anywhere else for any of our jewelery needs! more

What a great experience for a first time wedding band purchaser!!\r \r All the staff at Continental Diamond were amazing!! I worked closely with\r Ashley and Roxie designing my own original ring. These two made sure I was comfortable with every decision I made. They did not pressure nor proceed with anything till I was 100% sure. \r \r The quality of my band is amazing! The customer service is crazy good and the pricing was totally fair and I felt I every penny was well spent!\r \r No doubt in my mind that I will be returning to Continental Diamond for every jewelry need. I visited Continental \r Diamond last fall looking to replace wedding rings that were lost. Ross was very helpful in helping my wife and i pick out new rings. seh brought out just the right diamonds for us to look at in our price range and requirements of the 4 C's. She assisted in the design of the rings and never presured us in anyway. Ashley was the designer and she did a fabulous job from beginning to end. The rings were beautiful and suit each of the girls perfectly. I have always had a fantastic experience at Continental, as have all members of my family. Though my engagement ring and wedding band were purchased in NYC when I used to live out there, their cleaning and repair service is outstanding. Natalie, one of their repair staff, goes above and beyond to make customers happy and to provide good service. When a diamond fell out of my engagement ring due to wear against the wedding band, she did everything she could to fix it, avoid future stone loss, and do it at the lowest price possible. Roz is a fabulous sale person to work with and we always look for her when we go. Helain is wonderful, too, and helped my younger sister and her husband design their wedding rings/engagement ring. I will keep going back there! more

I originally went to Continental Diamond with my girlfriend to get her necklace fixed. Keep in mind her necklace wasn't worth any money, but it meant something to her and she wanted it cleaned up and restored.\r Natalie was more than happy to fix the necklace and didn't cost much either. The necklace looked brand new!\r Around 6 months later I went back to Continental Diamond to purchase an engagement ring because of the way we were treated the first time I went into the store. This time I had the pleasure of working with Kim, and after getting a feel of what I was looking for she showed me some rings and found the PERFECT one! My fiancé loves it and can't imagine a more perfect ring for her taste and style.\r And it doesn't stop there...they give you a nice gift for you and your fiancé to share and the bride to be gets another little gift when she goes into the store. Laura was amazing. She stayed in my price range, explained everything in perfect detail, and took her time showing me many different bands, settings, and diamond options. I went in feeling I knew nothing about jewelery and left feeling confident and informed. I have never felt so comfortable making a large purchase. I do not usually write reviews but after purchasing yet another fabulous piece of jewelry selected exclusively for me by Kim, whom I have followed from store to store over the years, I just had to say how much I enjoy the hospitable and fun atmosphere at Continental Diamond. That coupled with Kim's expertise, knowledge, and the care she takes with her customers, I would not consider buying anywhere else. Jewelry is an expensive and very personal purchase and I like feeling confident that I can trust the person I buy from and that they know my taste. Kim always comes through. I had the opportunity to pick and design my own engagement ring because Paul wanted me to love the ring, we were helped by an amazing woman who took time to find out our budget and what we thought we needed in a ring for functionality I'm a nurse and I wanted to be able to wear my ring and not get it caught on things etc. Roz Kloner has an amazing amount of knowledge regarding different gem stones and styles she helped us custom design my ring they also gave me top dollar for my old jewelry to help keep us within our budget. Jimmy Pesis has an amazing store and staff I would encourage you stop in and take a tour of their store in St Louis Park it is the season, drop a hint to your special someone I think there something beautiful there for every budget. more

When it was time to propose to my girlfriend, there was only one person and place I could think of for the ring, Roz, the family jeweler for over 30 years and Continental Diamond. Not only do they have the most stunning and amazing diamonds, all of the staff is so friendly and warm. \r \r Roz was able to create the things that I needed for the ring to be the unique one of a kind that I wanted and put them all together into a beautiful piece that was able to fit my budget. There are so many great things to say about Continental Diamond where do I begin. First of all, the customer service is outstanding. Whenever you walk into the store you are greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The sales staff are knowledgeable and very helpful but never aggressively trying to ""sell"" you something. I have referred a lot of friends and family to Continental Diamond and every one of them raved about their buying experience (quality and selection of items, pricing, customer service). I'm a forever customer!! more

Ashley redesigned my existing wedding set into a stunning new set. I absolutely love it and highly recommend her and all of the staff at Continental. My fiance and I came to Continental Diamond to find me an engagement ring. I went to numerous stores before coming here and we ended up going to the custom route. Working with Continental Diamond especially with Ashley made the experience wonderful and carefree. My ring came out perfectly and was everything I wanted. Ashley was very knowledgeable from finding the loose diamond to what kind of insurance we should use for my engagement ring. I would come back to Continental Diamond for any jewelry needs. more

I love this jewelry store. My mom has been a customer since it first opened many years ago and it only made sense to keep the family tradition when it was my turn to inherit some of my mom's old jewelry and when we needed engagement/wedding rings. We had a custom wedding band made using an old diamond from my husband's grandma. The final result was so amazing and even better than we had hoped. The service is always great. more
