We had no need for an electrician for years, but when we started seeing power outages on one side of the house, we suspected something was amiss. Consumer Electric treated this as an emergency and had someone at our door within a few hours. Turned out is was VERY serious with potential for fire. A new circuit box was needed and again, treated as emergency with workmen out the next day. They were fantastic and labels on each circuit are typed now. Love it!!! more

I have been using Consumer Electric for a few years. A few weeks ago I needed some rewiring done on a heater appliance. As always, it was very easy to call and schedule an appointment. The woman I spoke to was very polite and helpful. Kody the technician I requested showed up on time. Fixed the problem. And went out of his way to answer any questions I had. Kody is always very polite. Professional. And easy to talk to. And of course, he fixes the problem. I will definitely use Consumer Electric again. more

This was the first time I used Consumer Electric. They had a bunch of positive points, and one negative point. They were able to come out on labor day weekend, which was definitely a plus. I had called a few competitors and they were all on vacation. They were also fairly quick from the time I called them to set the appointment to the time they came to perform their service for me. The technician was smart enough to identify the problem really quickly and solve it. He was also able to explain everything to me. The whole service took a little less than an hour. The only negative I had was that I was quoted the wrong price. The final price was about a hundred dollars more than what I was told. I'd still recommend them. more

I had 3 days with no electricity. I spoke to Beth about what was happening. She was able to send someone to inspect my panel the same day at the time specified. Met Chris and Jose, they checked the panel and were able to get almost all my lights on except for the dryer and oven. I am very grateful for the extra effort they put into getting my power on. Cody worked out billing for me and Jose returned to complete the job. more

Installed lighting more

Consumer Electric recently installed a new main feeder line in my electrical panel. The gentleman that came to assess the problem was great and the technician, Jose, was timely and skilled. He finished the work faster than expected and now we have our electricity working as it should be. more

I've had nothing but great service from Consumer Electric Inc. The young men who did the work were very knowledgeable. They did extensive wiring at my home, coming out a handful of times to complete it. They did a wonderful job, and I am very pleased! more

This was our first experience with Consumer Electric, and without a doubt, I would rate the service with a 5. I called them on a Friday and spoke to Beth. Initially, she said they wouldn't have an estimator available until Monday, but someone became available so she called me right back to set up an appointment. She took care of the scheduling and sending out the estimator. They came out that same day, and by Monday all the work was done! They were very prompt. They replaced some old dingy recessed lighting in our kitchen with some nice LED can lighting. It's brightened up the kitchen, and we can see what we're cooking now! It's more eye pleasing and looks up to date. They also did a job in my front room living area. I have an 80-inch TV that I wanted to put up, and I wanted the electrical outlet moved from the bottom of the floor to the middle of the wall where I was hanging it. That way the cords would be invisible. They offered to hang the TV for us, and it looks absolutely awesome. They were very knowledgeable. They knew exactly how to do it and helped us decide how to hang it. Our installer was Roger, and he was just awesome. I've already talked to him about another project I want to get done, and as soon as we can afford it, I'll be calling him back! more

I tried to add an outlet to a bathroom remodel I was doing this last weekend. I thought it would be no big deal. Boy was I wrong. We coudn't use the master bathroom all weekend. My wife was not a happy camper. Consumer Electric to the rescue. Called at 8:00AM Monday morning and by 10:30AM all was fixed and Roger also found a potential problem with a shorted out wire in our master bedroom!! He was fast and explained all his work. Consumer Electric recently came by to repair some of our busted electrical outlets. I was 20 minutes late to the scheduled appointment and I was most impressed and surprised to see that the technician had waited for me. And on top of that, all the work turned out fine. more
