The doctor was nice and spent enough time with me, but I had to wait 1 hour to see her because the receptionist was busy text messaging instead of processing my application. Got some blood tests done and they never called me for the results despite my calling and asking for the result several times. Also got charged for a doctor's visit that I never made when I just went there for a blood test done by a tech! They charge your credit card without even asking for your authorization if the insurance pays only part of the bill. On top of that, the only thing you get is a little unprofessional e-mail that says ""You are resp for $XYZ amount since as per your insurance"" and no info in the e-mail when the visit was, what the visit was for, etc. I tried speaking to the billing department but the person I spoke to was very rude and thought nothing of the fact that they charged my credit card without authorization! The front desk lady told me they always call the patients if there is a problem with the insurance, but the billling lady said ""No way! We never call! She could not have told you that!"" So she acused me of lying too. more

With my first one, she was a part of a different group and with my second one, she is a part of Comprehensive women's group, englewood. I have finally decided to change my doctor coz both the times I had my babies,My Dr. was no where around. I had a planned c-section both the times and she still couldnt make herself available on the date. I guess thats the reason enough for me to change my doctor. Now comes the group, the doctors are good,but they seem to put everything on paper except what you tell them seriously...I have always been clear with the fact that I wanted only female doctors to perform my surgery, I do understand that the room had anaesthesian and paedtriation, which I do not get to choose, but I do get to choose my ob-gyn...inspite of my regular request for 8 months, and the female doctors in the group assuring me, 2 days before my surgeryu I am given the name of the male doctor in the group and the front desk being rude with me, that they dont understand whats the big deal...I was shocked that they spoke to me like that. If it wasnt a big deal, I wouldnt have requested it from the very beginning. It was a BIG deal to me.Then after I said that its just going to result inme going to a different group at the last minute, they adjusted dates and got 2 doctors available, after harassing me for a day.My Dr., inspite of telling me that she's be available, was out on a vacation. The least I wanted her to do was to put a note in my file saying I need female doctors, was it too much to ask for??? Now, the billing department, if you wanna make yourself crazy, call them, if you love spending money for no reason, call them...they have tried to charge me 3 times for the same test. They like to charge me for bills and claims that my insurance would pay for...I mean why are you running a billing department if you do not know how to work ..if that time during my preganncy they hadnt gotten enough money out me for no reason....they contd now. My second baby is 10 months and I went in for a consultation. They made such a complicated claim that my insurance had to charge me extra money besides my co pay. when I questioned the office, their explanation is that everything they sent comes under the same category, whether i go for 1 reason or 10....they had put in reasons that I never talked about..when I requested that if they could resubmit the claim, I got to hear a ""NO""...coz they got their money from the insurance and I have to pay them for what the insurance didnt cover. Go to them if you have a lot of money to waste...6 years and so many bad experiences, I took a long time to learn... more

I have been using this practice for my ob/gyn care for 35 years. I love them all. The billing dept is quite experienced and if you call them w/ questions or issues they will try to help you resolve your problem. I guess it may depend upon the issue, but anytime I have a question, I can contact them via email or call. more

These doctors are life savors. They are the best there is. They are highly skilled, highly talented and worthy of admiration. They have been delivering babies in the Bergen County area for generations. Their reputation is exceptional around town and deserving. more

Lack of knowledge and rude billings department 4/1/2008

The doctor didn't seem too knowledgeable about thrush on the breast. She actually told me to contact a lactation consultant because she didn't know too much about breastfeeding. After my examination, I went up to the front desk to pay my copay. However, the staff at the front desk told me that I didn't need to pay and that if I did, they would bill me. I got my bill and they charged me an extra $5.00 because I didn't pay upfront! I called the practice and told them that I would not pay for something when I had initially offered to pay at the time of service. The billings department was rude and said that I had signed a waiver. I told her that they should better train the staff because most patients listen to the person at the front desk than read the waivers. She said it was my fault for neglecting to pay at the time of service. In any case, I will not go back to this practice again. To think, they charged $200 to my insurance for a 2 minute checkup in which the doctor lacked knowledge regarding my condition. Cons: Rude billings staff, lack of knowledge and impersonable doctor more
