TO the Best Car Dealership ever!!! 4/5/2011

I am So sorry it took me so Long to write this letter as it is Due as I had problems with my computer also I had gotten pretty ill but as it is I am feeling so much better it is time to write this letter to all of you who I am so Proud to own my COBALT that all of you at Courtesty Chevrolet took pride in helping me in fixing something that should never have happened in the first place. I was sold a car from a shop called Car Max of Orlando on Semoron Blvd. I would think they would have taken pride in selling one of the Most important things in my life to me as I was told that when I bought the car it was in perfect order and that this stick shift had been changed and that it was New. I have to say all of you who helped me I can not THANK YOU Enough as all of you even Chevy in Michigan took pride in helping me. Tim is one of the Nices Men in the world who helped me as well as Jeff who runs Courtesy Chevrolet. I will tell you due to the fact that I was treated with such pride by all of y more

I Have Only Good Things To Say About Community Chevrolet 10/22/2009

My experience at Community Chevrolet was great. I had been doing a lot of shopping around for about a month and came across a good deal of sleaziness and pressure. But my time at Community was entirely positive. No manipulation. No excessive pressure. The salesman who helped me, Michael K, was friendly and came across as genuine. Pros: Proffesional and Friendly Salesmen more

Harassment and Misrepresentation 7/11/2008

Married Community Chevrolet salesperson ask female customers on dates and psychologically abuse the female customers in a variety of different disgusting ways.\r \r Want to buy a car - not be harassed by male Salesmen at Community Chevrolet. \r \r Misrepresentation that Community Chevrolet Burbank is held to a higher standard than used car dealerships.\r \r This is not true because Community Chevrolet leaves old factory batteries in used cars which car battery fails days after buying the car. \r \r Buyers beware also because a warranty is offered on a used car \r usually 30 days and 1000 miles at full 100 per cent but at the time of doing the paperwork endless and aimless chatter and Community Chevrolet fails to give the oral warranty as promised and later says there is no warranty from Community Chevrolet itself. The business woman will even stoop to say that the car was sold as is when there was a warranty sticker on the car. more

Best Dealership in town 2/25/2008

I have bought cars from this dealership for more years than I can remember. They are clean and friendly. They have a great sales team one by the name of shanon I will never buy from anyone but him. If you are planning to buy a car or truck ask for him he knows his stuff. more

My experience wasnt bad at all. 2/19/2008

I dropped my chevy off on a sunday morning following a breakdown on the freeway( it happens). They had it fixed by monday afternoon. When I picked it up,it was washed and detailed and running great. Most other dealers Ive had experience with wont even wash your vehicle, following a warranty repair.\r Say what you want, but Ive dealt with a lot of dealers, all chevy and dodge mostly, and Community isnt any worse than any of them, and better than most. more

The worst car dealer I have ever known! 12/8/2007

"My strength is as the strength of ten, because my heart is pure." Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote that, and the novelist Robert Parker has his detective hero, Spenser, quote it. I agree, not because my heart is so pure, but because my facts are true. That's why I think you should believe me that YOU SHOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! In my experience, they will conceal, obfuscate, remove a window sticker from a used car, (illegal in CA) and deliberately withhold information about rebates and special deals offered by Chevrolet that ANY customer should be told about in asking for price information. ( Not unlike the Bush Administration's approach to politics)\r They practice the standard ploys: long delays to go talk to another negotiator about matters that should have taken minutes. All to give the impression that the salesman is fighting for your best interests against his bosses who have to be 'wooed' to accept a lower price in your favor. It's all orchestrated, with visits more

grade +A service and sales department 10/25/2007

I USED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE TO INDEPENDANT SERVICE STATIONS ,AND EVERYTIME I ENDED UP PAYING TWICE OR THREE TIME FOR THE SAME REPAIRS.I STARTED TAKING MY 98 TAHOE TO RYDELL IN VAN NUYS.THIS WAS EVEN A BIGGER MISTAKE BECAUSE NOW I PAID TWICE AS MUTCH AND THE SAME PROBLEMS.IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY AIR CONDITIONER.I PAID OVER $ 1900 FOR A AC COMPRESSOR AND SOME LINE, BUT THE AC STILL BLEW HOT.I TOOK IT BACK AND THEY WANTED ANOTHER $500.FINALY ONE OF MY FRIENDS TOLD ME ABOUT COMMUNITY CHEVROLET ,AND I GAVE THEM A SHOT SENSE I DIDNT GET ANYWHERE WITH RYDELL.THE ADVISOR MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS A KING.\r THEY DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE IN LESS THEN THE TIME HE HAD PROMISSED AND IT WAS ONLY $120 AND THEY EVEN \r DISCOUNTED THAT WHEN THEY HEARD MY STORY.\r THEY EVEN WASHED IT FOR FREE.\r I COULDNT BELIVE THE SERVICE THEY GAVE ME ,SO I HAD TO TRY THEM AGAIN TO SEE IF IT WAS GANUINE OR IT WAS JUST A ONE TIME DEAL.THEY DID A BETTER JOB THIS TIME ON MY 90000 MILE MAINTNANCE, more

They are the greatest! 10/23/2007

I recently purchased a vehicle from another dealership whom shall remain nameless. After repeated attempts to fix my problems I took the vehicle into Community on the recommendation of a friend. Wow, what a difference. Everything was fixed right the first time, not only that but they fixed things I never complained about all under warranty! Their prices were reasonable, even less than the local shops, and much less than my previous experiences. They now have a customer for life. My friend that recommended me had purchased a new truck from them and kept telling me how honest they were, she was right. You have to give this place a try! more

Don't buy anything from here!!!! 7/11/2007

I bought a used car from here, and it was the worst mistake. I barely drove it a month and the engine blew out on the way to Vegas. There was all this drama with their WG Warranty company because they didn't want to pay for it. They finally agreed to supply the engine after almost 3 months. We had to drive to Vegas to pick up the car. The next morning, guess what!!!! The car didn't start again! Its a piece of crap! Don't pay attention to their signs that say "We're not satisfied until you are completely satisfied." Its bulls***! And now we are stuck with a car that doesn't run! I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone!!!! more

Awesome Experience 2/27/2007

I just purchased my 2007 HHR. The whole staff at CC is amazing and on top of their game. Everyone there was extremely helpful. I almost felt like I landed on a different planet with the awesome Customer Service that I received! I can't wait to take my son in to purchase his first vehicle. I would never go anywhere else. more

avoid service department 2/22/2007

We will never return to this dealership for service. It's advisors and manager are inadequate, lie about details, and don't want to provide general customer service. We complained about a particular service advisor at the dealership and, as a consequence, were told that because of our complaint they would not service us again. This prompted us to call Chevrolet Motor Company to complain, and the company could do nothing for us. We had to go to a different dealership 5 extra miles away to get serviced properly. more

Lousy service department and customer service runs a close second. 1/11/2007

Don't really want to get into too many details, but the service department is horrible. My first experience was pretty good so I returned to buy a second automobile there. BIG mistake. I've had nothing but problems and they are not very concerned about correcting the problems they caused. Very very frustrating. more

O.K. Deal, but great service department! 7/11/2006

The deal was like everywhere else -- you have to stick to your guns until you get the price you want. But, wow -- what a service department. I brought my car in to get a tire fixed -- definitely not a high ticket item -- and the first thing they asked was if I needed a ride to work. When the repair was complete, they called and offered another ride. Great customer service. Pros: Great Service Department Cons: negotiations were a bit of a chore, but salespeople were above average in courtesy more

The PARTS dept was WONDERFUL!! 5/1/2006

I am writing to say how EXCEPTIONAL the parts dept. is. They were so helpful and really helped me out. I am thankful to them for saving me some money and they were so curtious and really took the time to make sure I was a happy customer. I had went to the dept in glendale and since they didn't have the part, he called Mike in Burbank and then had him hold the part for me and the problem was solved! It made my day that everything was absolutely fixed in an hour! I was treated nicely and I even saved some money. I would go back to them for any of my car needs. I just want to say great group of guys specially Mike, It made my week, probably my month!! Finally a Car place that you don't dread walking into!!! Pros: parking, good customer service, helpful more

Service - What service? 4/19/2006

My husband and I both purchased 2 Trailblazers from Community in 2001, along with extended warranties. We sold one and asked for a refund on the first warranty and it took them twice the time it should have. After trying to use the warranty on the second vehicle we were then told that they do not honor the warranty they sold to us. We have now sold, bought and moved into a new home in the time we are still waiting for the refund on the second warranty. The service department also told us it would be a $200 job that the warranty did not cover and cost us $600 (they never even called to tell us it would be more). PROS: None CONS: Does not value a customer and their products. more

Service Dept was my worst experience with dealer 8/25/2005

Took Chevy Astro Van in for diagnose and repair air conditioning. They called and said they couldn't find a problem but recharged freon and added dye. Tested next am and said no leaks ready for pick up. Picked up the van, paid $125 and test drove 15 minutes A/C blew HOT air. Returned to dealer. Next call is with estimate $1200 to replace compressor. I reluctantly ok'd because they already had the vehicle and it's a hassle to go elsewhere and lose the $125. Few days later pick up van, paid $1200 and drove away 15 minutes, A/C blew HOT air. Returned to dealer, driver and van steamed. Next day they say they found ANOTHER leak in line and needs to be replaced and this time no charge. Finaly a/c appears to work though it makes one wonder what all was ever truly needed in the first place. Incompetance, NO Quality assurance, unprofessional top to bottom experience. Go elsewhere is my suggestion. PROS: 3rd times a charm? CONS: You name it....go elsewhere. more

Huge Selection 6/16/2005

I just recently purchased a new vehicle here and I had a great experience. If you go, ask for Adiss. He is incredibly personable and helpful and knows a lot about the vehicles on the lot. The amount of Trucks and SUV's they have is pretty impressive. They gave me a very fair deal and I plan on going back here to buy a second car. PROS: Great selection of cars, Knowlegeable and unimposing staff CONS: more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 1/22/2005

I have bought all my cars there for the past 15 years and am going to buy my daughters car there too. Face it, you get just about the same quote from all dealerships when buying a new car. The thing that keeps bringing me back to CC is their service Dept. I tell ya, you have never been treated so well at a service department. Never do you hear, leave the car and we will check it out if it is something minor that they feel they can do for your right away. They have shuttle service to and from so ifyou don't have a ride, you don't have to rent a car or bother anyone. It is refreshing to go to a service dept and be treated like you are not an idiot (even though I am when it comes to cars) I highly recomened them, even if you didn't get your chevythere, you can still use their service dept. more
