The nicest place to stay in the area - Always a clean comfortable romm and outstanding staff and I mean every last person from the General Manager down. Never had a bad experience at this location and have stayed there at least 60 night so far this year. more

This Comfort Inn had a very large and well laid-out area for the morning breakfast and it was the first Comfort Inn I have stayed where there was a staff member who prepared the waffles for you! That was nice! Also, our room was on the second floor and we were able to open the window which I always enjoy as I find the heating/air conditioning units to typically be noisy. Nice outdoor pool which was very clean and a nice area with picnic tables. more

Well kept hotel. Recent renovations made it feel welcoming. Stayed in a room facing the front of building and did not have any road noise. Weather permitting you have to use the out door pool to rejuvinate after an exhausting drive. more

After a Syracuse basketball game, we headed to Binghamton which is about an 1 hour and 30 mins away from the Carrier Dome to get a head start on our long drive back to Virginia. We primarily looked for hotels off I-81. After checking the room rate for Fairfield Inn ($139 for 2 persons) we decided to stay at the Comfort Inn of Binghamton. The rate was $79 for a non-smoking room with king bed. The room was clean and comfortable with a sitting chair, TV cabinet with drawers and a 30 inchTV, desk, wireless internet, and a continental breakfast that included homemade waffles that the staff makes right in front of you. more

We found this hotel and a good deal through one of the hotel guides that we picked up crossing the border into NY, as we wanted a nice clean room in a chain hotel on our way to our Canadian vacation.\r \r The hotel was not new, but seemed fresh, and the room was clean. Also, the room was a good size, with two full-size beds, a desk, and still a lot of space in the room. The bathroom was also clean and large. Free WiFi is also appreciated.\r \r The breakfast buffet was fine, typical quick hotel fare. All of the coworkers we encountered were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again on our trip through next year! more

Needed to stop overnight on a trip from upstate to NYC and this hotel was easy acess right off Route 81/17. I was fortunate to get the last room - guess there were several groups staying there--and even though it faced the main road, I didn't hear the traffic. The lobby is bright and clean and there are two computers for your use - slow but they do work. There is a very good selection of foods for breakfast and several newspapers to choose from. There are also magazines in the lobby to help pass the time. The toilet and tub are in separate room while the sink was part of the bedroom which actually might be helpful for families. There are lots of family-friendly chain restaurants on this road and, if you're a visitor to this part of NY, try eating at the Spiedie Rib Pit for a local taste. more

Stayed here for two nights for a nearby training. They made me wait while they got verification of business credit card, but not a big deal. Offered me coffee while I waited and explained the process. Realized the room didn't have any heat, and since it was 2 degrees, called front desk. They immediately came up and checked it out and when they couldn't get it to work, they switched me to another room within 15 minutes with no problem at all. There was free coffee and cookies available in the in afternoons and evenings, and the free breakfast was great. An attendant made waffles to order and there were scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, pastries, bagels, toast, yogurts, fresh fruit, juices, and coffee. Great places to eat in both directions and easy access to 81 and 88. I'd have no problem staying here again. Price was $98 per night. more

This was my first Hotel on my travels from Toronto to New York by Car. So I wanted a comfortable place to break my journey. From the outside the Hotel looks very tidy and smart, which we all expect from this chain. When I entered the reception I was greeted warmly by the people who checked me in for my room. Straight away felt, I had made a good choice, I had booked a twin room with 2 double bed as I was travelling with 2 other people, The beds were good and the room was very tidy. found the Hotel Good. Breakfast room is near reception and had plenty of choice, Outside is the swimming pool,which I found incredibly clean for an outside swimming pool. I wanted to jump in. The Hotel is situated on a main road not far from shops and restaurants. I would visit this Hotel again more
