The sales team is great as is the finance group. Be concerned about the service department. I had many problems and had to bring my mechanic along to get resolution. I purchased an extended warranty and they dont care. If you buy from them be prepared to have it serviced by homan rv. more

Purchased a camper marked at $11,000. After negotiating and mistakes we got it for just over $6000 which I later find out is the high retail value this unit should have sold for. Within a few hundred miles one of the tires blew causing thousands in damage. All of the tires were 10 to 14 years old and unsafe for the road. They were unwilling to help. Tried several times to speak to the service department to get an estimate for repairs and no one returned my call. Stay far away. They'll sell you something unsafe that can potentially kill your family and don't make any attempts to make it right. more

1st, I wish I knew of Colerain before I purchase my 2018 Thor Outlaw 37RB from a NY dealer. On my 1st trip, to the Dakotas, with only 1400 miles on it (delivery to Albany NY dealer and drive home, Pittsburgh, PA) I was checking all systems and found the leveling jack leaking hyd oil. While marathon phone calls between dealer and Thor. Colerain Dayton was brought to my attention, it was on my route, I-70, and has Saturday service hours. After talking to Mr. Brinson, service manager, he agreed to look at it that Saturday morning. I can honestly say I felt like Colerains most important VIP customer. The issue was resolved and I happily RVed down the road. Colerain Dayton service will always do the maintenance, repairs and other up grades I decide on. I will not trust anyone else. Colerain Dayton does the best to uphold higher standards associated with great customer satisfaction. Everyone we met, from attendants to technicians to sales and customers were great. I got a Fleetwood Terry a year ago and got it hope thinking I would be happy. Soon discovered that the slide out was damaged with holes on top of it and that caused significant water damage to my floors and walls. So we tried sealing that and put plastic over the top and that helped for awhile but now it's not holding the water out. At the top of the slide out on the wall now on the inside is damp and seems to have a lot of moister. The whole slide out is very weak. I can't afford to fix it. Cold weather is coming fast and that's not going to help things either or me. I am so unhappy right now. But I would still recommend getting a unit at Colerain because the staff is easy to work with and very patient. On the other hand the service workers need more education on checking for damage on RV's!! more

Beware of this RV dealership. I bought a used pull behind and it looked great. Went over it pretty good. Turned out had big issues with the braking system. I did not think to test drive the camper. As soon as we realized it 5 minutes down the road called them. Said to bring it in and would fix it. Took it back and was told it was an as is sale. The sales manager holding up a paper and telling me it’s on me. Didn’t think it was legal in the state of Ohio to sell an unroad worthy trailer. The sales manger just kept saying they don’t check the braking system on used trailers. They do check the fridge and stove. Well that helps when your going down the hwy. Beware if you buy here. Not real friendly after the sale. more

Check RV GUIDE.COM first, this model rates 935 out of 1399 travel trailers, I bought a 2014, and wish I didn't thought I got a bargain, I did not, I was told by another Senior, Before purchase it is called a JEWEL, but after purchase, you find out that it is JUNK !!! I purchased a 2013 Cougar travel trailer only to have it wind damaged that evening in a storm. We called our sales person he said bring it back down we will have it all fixed and back to you in two weeks. It took almost a week and a half to even get an estimate after I was told they would do it in one day, amazing that after a nasty phone call it was done the next day. I was told they would have no problems meeting my August 3 deadline to have my unit repaired as I had vacation scheduled. In the end I was told they would not even be able to get parts in by that date. So after 3 weeks $200 in diesel and not even one thing fixed on my trailer I picked it up and had it fixed at a local shop. After looking at the estimate I can't even find why they wanted to replace the roof except for the $5000 labor bill. This dealer is all about selling you a new unit and once your out the door they are done with you. Now I'm done with them!! more

We have a truck camper (one that sits in the back bed) and when talking to Colerain on the phone all was good with what we needed done. That is until we actually got there. We drove over an hour and when we pulled in the staff was VERY unfriendly, no goodmorning, no how are you, nothing. They told us we had to leave the truck, well this would of been nice to know when I first made the appointment, we obviously pulled up in only one vehicle....excuse us for assuming that a camper store would have means to move around a camper!! They didn't apologize for our hour drive or make suggestions of what else could be done. We will NEVER go back and will NOT recommend this to any of our friends! more

Good: Wife and I stopped into colerain rv last weekend to look around. They have a very nice dealership with a lot more campers than we thought. We were looking for a trailer to use a couple times a year and the saleslady showed us a Visa that we could pull with our van. They had a large service building that was packed with rv's they were servicing. We ended up buying from them and even got a follow-up call yesterday from them asking how we were doing.. Bad: The location is right off the Colerain exit on 275 but back off of Struble rd near the Rumpke land fill. It was a little hard to find.. Improvements: They had a lot of campers in stock, our saleslady had to ask around to find the ones she wanted to show us. It was not a problem for us as she drove us around in a golf cart to them all. They should track their inventory a little better.. Other: This is our 3rd camper we have bought in 12 years. We had a good purchase experience and we felt that she was more concerned with getting us in the right camper than selling one that made her the most money. My wife really liked the way she talked to her and asked her questions about what she wanted too.. more
