Cole Muffler Brake & Tire

My muffler dropped on Christmas Eve, right before I was planning to drive my family a good distance for the holidays. Fortunately, Cole was (a) open, and (b) stocked. They took my car in immediately and had it fixed in about an hour. I thought they treated mer professionaly and did a good job. Rather than make me go home to get a coupon from the weekly flyer, they gave me the discount on the spot. May not seem like a big deal, but it was a huge time saver on what could have been a really bad day.\r \r Thanks, Cole! more

Absolutely a horrible experience. I will never bring another vehicle to Cole's for as long as I live in the Ithaca area. The manager Todd was completely inappropriate. I originally brought a vehicle there two weeks ago to have an exhaust leak fixed. Upon returning (because of another leak) I was accosted by Todd with: ""whats the matter this time"", seriously the first words out of his mouth. Of course my only retort was ""the same thing that was wrong the last time"" needless to say I felt like slapping the grease off the slob. Never, never, never will I ever recommend anyone take their vehicle to a place that treats its customers in such a manner. Cons: Rude manager more

VERY good service.....\r Saturdary a.m. (busy time) got an estimate on van problems. The van needed front t-rod and front ball joints. Shop did not have time to repair till early next week, however, manager suggested I should not drive the van for any distance until fixed. He showed me the problem. I told him I needed to pickup people for church Sunday, and he said just a minute. Came back and said they would fixed the t-rod which was in a dangerous state, and we could come back later for the rest. of the repair. \r He was very kind, & thoughtful of our safety driving the van in dangerous condition. I apprecreciated the treatment, and consideration for our safety. \r I would recommend this shop. I could have broken down on the road with people in my van needing to get to an appointment. Awful! I went here by accident (instead of Monro Muffler). They were not helpful on the phone (would not give me any advice). When I got there, they told me it would be 20 minutes. It took over an hour. I then asked how long it would be. He said 5 minutes, and did not apologize at all. It took 20 more minutes. I finally took my keys and left. The part that really bothers me is that he had to know it was going to be more than 20 minutes, but just kept me waiting there to get my business. He lied. Unfriendly and dishonest.
