I was very happy with the service performed on my unit. 11/30/2010

I am somewhat unhappy with having to pay for the replacement of the blower capacitor which had been replaced not so long ago, but was not installed properly by David Williams, another Cogburn technician causing it not to last. RESPONSE FROM Cogburn's Service General: I'm sorry that Mrs. Lewis had to replace the capacitor again. Capacitors have a 6 tolorance and we always recommend replacemnent when they fall out of that range. We carry a one and a five year warranty capacitor. The warranty expired on her capacitor 8/18/2010. more

Years of great service 11/30/2010

Cogburn's has taken care of our family's HVAC repairs and replacements since 2001. At one point, Byron came to our home in the night, on a weekend to fix our a/c problem because he was aware of our son's asthma. I can get my a/c repaired by numerous companies but good service is hard to find. I wouldn't consider using anyone but Cogburn's. more

Starting with a failed AC unit as company was arriving, they fixed that quickly and service since then has been more than satisfactory. I have recommended Cogburns to many friends. more

Cogburn's Service General has been wonderful. They keep after hours and come in on weekends. They helped me replace my total air conditioning unit, and they serviced it until it needed to be replaced. They are patient with me, and I trust them. I have been using them for about 4 years. I had a brand new house but must have gotten a lemon air conditioner because I was having a lot of issues with it. They worked with me, and I never felt that they were trying to rip me off like typical companies. I purchased my new air conditioning unit through Cogburn's, and it is awesome. They are all about their customers, and are very customer-centric. more

Gabe Walker was my service technician on 11-18-2010, he was totally professional, clean, polite,he knew my husband was ill so he was as quiet as possible (did not wake my husband) was very respectful, did his job in a timely manner and was on time for his appointment. I liked Gabe and felt very comfortable around him. more

The most recent technician, Matt G. was courteous and informative, which is in keeping with everyone in the company who I have met since signing up for the "club" about a year and a half ago. They were very helpful in a summer emergency with my AC, at a time when they were extremely busy and could have put me on the back burner. I highly recommend this company. more

Matt, the tecnician, was very informative and found a problem while checking my furnace. 11/8/2010

I had a new HVAC system installed in July by Cogburns. They sent Matt out to check the operation of the furnace ,since the weather is changing and the furnace hasn't been operated. He showed me what he was checking and explained the safety features of the new high energy furnace. It checked out fine, however he found a freon leak on one of the copper lines to the coil. He pulled down the freon from the outside unit and went to a lot of work resoldering the joint. It was very tight work area. He recharged the system and checked the inside vent temperature. He was very thorough and conscientious in his inspection of the system. I feel great that he was able to fix a leak that I wouldn't have known about until I turned on the AC next summer.I am a new customer of Cogburns and I would recommend them to anyone. more

We've been a customer for over 3 years. Originally hired to replace a failing AC unit, your team has consistently maintained and kept the total central heating and cooling system in tip top shape. Any and all service requirements have always been thoroughly explained - we've never had the feeling that a servicing recommendation has been frivolous. more
