I agree with the previous review (johenson): I would follow Amy T to any salon, be it Cobalt Blue or Topaz or Buckwheat's Barbarr Shope - if that's where she's happy, I'll be there. I used to drive the length of Austin to get to Cobalt Blue just to see Amy T, during rush hour, so I have no doubt that I would likewise extend that voyage to Alaska or Central America or wherever she chooses to exercise her talent. Though I will miss Cobalt Blue and its very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere, and very friendly, unpretentious staff, in the end, it's really about the hair, and Amy T knows it. She is able to actualize my ideas, when I have them, and I am perfectly comfortable letting her get experimental when I don't. Oh, my hair is the canvas, her scissors the brush, my coiffure the painting. \r

Note: I am of the male gender. To generalize, men tend to care less about their hair or their stylist, and before my experience with Amy T, I was no exception to that stereotype. So men, I encourage you to visit Amy T at her new location.
Pros: The people, Amy T in particular
Cons: They don't operate out of my house.
