Club Mutt

I have been going here for about a year because the first two time I took my dog here I had great service and so did my dog. But the past few times I have taken her there the service is horrible, her cut is ugly and too short and she has fleas when I pick her up. The topper is our last visit this past Friday. Her cut is totally uneven and way too short after I explicitly explained not to cut her short. She is covered in fleas so bad that they now live in our carpet and she had none when I took her in. And she now has a lovely ear infection that I will be spending money at the vet for. This place has really gone down hill fast. Too bad because I thought they were a keeper :-( but instead they are just another company that has gone down with the economy instead of pulling through like they could have. more

I have been taking my Bichon here for a few years now. He is always so excited to go and happy when he comes home. My groomer works very hard to make me happy even when i know my dog has gotten a little too matted! I love all the girls that work here and they are all very nice. more

Today was my second time I took my dog to this place and I was very disappointed! When I got home from picking up my dogs from grooming I was trying to get them down from the car. One of my dog refused to get out and I was curious why until I noticed his eyes were watery and closed!!! I carried him inside and realized something's wrong!! I called club mutt and spoke to the person who groomed him. I asked why his eyes a re shut and watery and she said she didn't do anything tonhim and put me on hold. Finally she came back and said the soap probably got into his eyes just put visine and hung up. I was soooooo mad! I called my vet and they said if it was just soap it should go away soon after I wash it off but to keep an eye out for infection. So now his eyes are pretty swollen, red, and have discharge! I took him to the vet the next day and vet said his right eye, cornea, was burnt from the shampoo. It happens sometimes at groomers when dogs can get reaction to it if it's not rinsed out al the way. So I went back to club mutt and told them. Right away The owner Candis called, she called my vet as well. I requested for a refund and she happily to refund and apologized. When I went in to get the refund she had also reimbursed me for medical expense as well without me asking. So I give this place 1 star for the how my other dog looks and another star for the owner. Will I ever go back to this place? I will only go back because of candies' integrity of her business. Would I recommend this place? I'll let you be your own judgement. People make mistakes and luckily my dog can still see. more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. My dog actually died under their care. They leave all of the animals unsupervised overnight in a large play area. My dog was attacked by a larger dog and was discovered the next morning. He had been bitten in the throat. His death could have been avoided if not for the irresponsibility of this establishment. After the accident, when asked for a copy of the contract we signed they claimed they did not have a copy for us. No dog or owner should be subjected to this. Please, find another doggy day care that supervises and locks up their animals properly overnight. more
