I was skeptical, but after months of seeing her with them, I finally caved in and booked an appointment with Inna . Inna is sweet, knowledgeable, and damn good at what she does. After my first session with her, I was hooked. No more spending time each morning applying eyeliner and mascara, getting my sparse eyelashes to hold some semblance of a curl. Having my morning beauty routine time cut in half yet looking totally put together is all sorts of awesome. more

Have had wonderful experiences.\r \r I arrived way early for my appointment,because i was driving from Silver Spring so I was escorted to a lovely, relaxing space where knowledgeable and nice receptionist explained to me about all salon services until my time arrived. It was wonderful. I received a wonderful Laser Hair Removal and Botox from Julia and went home a very happy customer.\r more

\r Hmm microdermabrasion. The term itself sound scary and invasive (we're talking about the manual sloughing of dead skin cells after all), but my experience in CLARITY MEDSPA was the exact opposite. Julia is kind and thorough, and explained the entire process prior to the procedure. She likened the feel of microdermabrasion to a 'cat licking your face' and the description was spot on! \r \r Thrive uses organic products which are not only gentle, but smell good, in a fresh-scrubbed way. After Julia finished the treatment, I noticed a visible difference immediately. And my face feels smooth as satin... both texture and tone are greatly improved. No redness, no irritation, and no sales pressure. Tthe environment is really soothing back in the treatment rooms. Can't wait to return for my light peel!\r \r This place is awesome! Their service is absolutely fantastic! Staff is kind and very well trained. I'm defenetly will reccomend it to my frieds and will come back soon! more

Terrible customer service. They LIE. They rip you off. They are THIEVES. I'm pretty sure the only positive reviews were posted by the workers themselves seeing as how the grammar on positive reviews is poor and the workers barely speak english.\r \r AVOID!!!!!!! more

I purchased a 3 sessions of colon hydro therapy.I was so nervous because this was my first time,but Nelli,she is the therapist,talked me through the process,help me relax and understand the procedures.She was absolutely amazing making me feel extremely comfortable.I feel better mentally and physically than i have in years an i am so thankful Nelli.She is nice,very knowledgeable ,pleasant and professional person.I will definitely continue with my therapy and recommend it to everybody! more

This place lacks everything customer service wise except for one thing: the product/service you paid for.\r I bought a groupon for laser hair removal. There are several things wrong with this place and how they operate a business.\r 1. Appearance. They are located in a sketchy side alley of a shopping center, no signage and concealed front entrance with shades drawn at all times. \r 2. Friendlyness. The staff barely speaks to you other than your name.\r 3. Make sure you write down your next appointment because you can forget about a confirmation phone call or email. If you don't stay on top of when you get the services you could never hear from them again.\r 4. The procedure takes all of 30 seconds, yet making an appointment is virtually impossible because they are always ""full"" for at least a month.. forget about missing an appointment, you'll have to wait another month to two months to get back in. \r \r If it weren't for wanting to get the laser removal I would never go back here or recommend their services to anyone. Most of the time you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and even wonder how they stay in business. There are plenty of other salons/spas that have a nice ambiance, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. This is not that type of place. You get what you paid for, and that's it. more

I too purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal for a large area at Clarity Medispa. At my first appointment, the technician told me that a ""Brazilian"" was not covered by the ""Extended Bikini"" area and that I would have to pay an additional $75 if that is what I wanted. I checked the Deal Q&A afterward and there was a question that specifically addressed this issue and it was stated that Brazilian WAS the same as the Extended Bikini and did not mention anything about an extra charge. I can only imagine that most customers that bought this Groupon for that area have been coerced into paying an additional fee for something that should have been covered. Attempting to schedule an appointment has been another hassle. When calling to make an appointment, I have never had the call directly answered - it is always sent to voicemail - and I only receive calls back 50% of the time. When you finally get to talk to a person, they claim to only be able to fit you in several months later (I called in mid-December and couldn't get an appointment until February 6th). Despite being unsure whether or not I'd be able to make the February 6th appointment (I travel a lot for work), I booked it anyway. When a work trip came up that was going to prevent me from making the appointment, I called several weeks in advance to try to reschedule. I left two messages - again, never having my calls answered by a person - and never got a call back. To add insult to injury, even though I could not get my previous calls returned, I did get a message attempting to confirm the very appointment that I had been trying to reschedule for two weeks. I am very unhappy with this particular experience. The spa is unprofessional and dishonest in their dealings with customers - save your money and go elsewhere. more

I signed up for laser hair removal through groupon for this place. I looked at the only two reviews, not noticing they were written years ago, and agreed to pay for the 6 treatments. \r \r I called in prior to doing this and asked if they do weekend appointments and they said every other Saturday. When I went in for my first treatment I asked to be shceduled for another Saturday was told they don't do many Saturday appointments so it is going to be really hard to fit me in. They said they only do Saturdays if there is enough appointments to make it worth it.\r \r I live an hour away and only agreed to do this on the condition that I don't have to take off work to come there. \r \r There was definately a creepy factor, I can't imagine paying full price. I fell like I'm getting ripped off with the groupon discount. \r \r Not recommedned at all! more

I had the same exp. as Brenda... First off, the lady treating me was 20 minutes late arriving to the office. I think I read Glamour April edition 20 times before she arrived. On top of that the place is dirty and dingy - they didn't even turn on half the lights in the office giving it a creepy ""where the hell am I?"" vibe. Furthermore, the staff was discourteous and the receptionist barely spoke english. I had to repeat ""Mondays are no good for me"" several times until I simplified with ""Mondays are bad"". And when the lady treating me gave different info from the receptionist on followup treatments, hilarity ensued. I would never go back except for the fact I have already paid for 5 more treatments. Go somewhere else more courteous, cleaner and less of a ""hey let's start a spa in the basement"" vibe. more

Maybe they are under new management since those posts but I did not have that experience at all. I have been to 3 other cosmetic places and this one was by far the worst. The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. They were not at all accommodating to the customer. They did the bare minimum and their goal seemed to be to get you in and out as fast as possible. There are great places in cockeysville and catonsville where you will have a fantastic experience. Try looking around. more

I had a colonic therapy for the first time at Clarity. I was nervous and comprehensive about the procedure. Therapist, Shaunte, made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Colonic went great and I felt amazing afterwards. SInce I was already there (I live 45 min. away) and I had some time, I decided to have a facial. I can only say, It was the best facial I have ever had. Marina spent more then an hour cleaning, massaging and moisturizing my face and on top she did my eyebrow wax for free. The facial was only $ 65 with free eyebrow wax. I could not believe it. I recommend the spa to everybody \r \r Pros: Thumbs up Cons: Location more
