emergency help 2/28/2014

truck needed to be towed and left there on the weekend. Such a relief to know we could do that. Then finding it was only a minor repair was a relief. Thanks! more

Best mechanic for students 2/27/2014

I've taken my car to City Tire since I moved to Chicago for grad school, and I won't take it anywhere else. Not only are they fair, they treat me, a student with an old, battered car with the same geniality and kindness one would treat a professional with a fine automobile. In my most recent visit, the price ended up being less than they had quoted because they applied a (not insignificant!) coupon to my repair without me even asking for it. These guys are the best. They're my mechanics, and that's not something I say lightly. more

I needed a tire. Not only did I need a tire, I needed to remove a flat, pot hole horrified tire at 10 PM after a long shift at a non profit. The next day I had my car back! Price was good and customer service was pleasant and professional. more

Outstanding 12/30/2013

Would recommend anyone even remotely close to travel to City Tire. The money you'd spend in gas or in traffic is way worth the service you receive and the money you'll save. They are honest, professional, reliable, fast and have great customer service. We will never go anywhere else while living in the Chicagoland area. more

I called City Tire a few days before I went in and was absolutely surprised by the extent of advice I was given over the phone. Very helpful and I didn't feel like he was rushing me off the phone. I will never go to another tire company. I've told all my friends and family to go here. more
