I've taken my car to City Tire since I moved to Chicago for grad school, and I won't take it anywhere else. Not only are they fair, they treat me, a student with an old, battered car with the same geniality and kindness one would treat a professional with a fine automobile. In my most recent visit, the price ended up being less than they had quoted because they applied a (not insignificant!) coupon to my repair without me even asking for it. These guys are the best. They're my mechanics, and that's not something I say lightly.
