I had great service. I took the car in for an oil change, and was leaving in 20 min! The only thing wrong was that the oil change light/bell reminder was not reset, so it still keeps going off. more

City Tire is the best. I've been coming here for car repairs on my Toyota since I moved to the south side about three years ago. They've always treated me respectfully and gone out of their way to make sure I'm satisfied. They are clearly careful mechanics. They're honest about what needs immediate attention and what doesn't. I can't say enough good things about City Tire--I recommend them to all my friends on the south side. more

Hi, I have not filled this out because I did not want to give you a rating which is not consistent with the superior work which you do. However, after you took care of the engine light which would not go out until you fixed it, new problems arose. This car has stopped on me 3 ora 4 times. one of the last times that it stopped on me, I was at 76th and Vincennes. I was turning the corner by Fred and Jacks and the car just went dead on me. This was the day when it was 91 degrees. Finally, I got the car started back up. I didn't dare come out on the street the next day which was 96 degrees. The car has stopped on me at least 3 more times. I am afraid to drive it because I can't take a chance on it stopping on me like when I was out in traffic and could hardly steer it around the corner at Fred and Jacks carryout. I love the car, it is so pretty and has almost 10,000 miles on it. However, I'm going to have to shed it before I get killed in it. I have put out too much money on this car for it not to be functioning properly. Although I simply love this luxurious looking car, I'm going to try to sell it. Catherine Townsend more

My husband went to get the car checked before we head out for a one week road trip. They did the full inspection, prepared the bill, applied discounts - which left us with a zero balance, and sent us on our way! Always great service. Our family wouldn't go anywhere else in the city! I went in for a routine oil change but also wanted them to check out what I thought was a hole in my exhaust pipe which i had been avoiding getting repaired. I thought it was going to be costly and I wanted to know what it was but had no intention of having it repaired yet. Turns out that it was just a loose gasket which was repaired by bolt and nuts that city tire replaced at no extra charge. I am so grateful to City Tire. I go there because I trust them and I always get good service from honest people. As a woman its nice to have a place where I can take my car to be serviced or fixed and leave with the confidence of knowing that I haven't been taken advantage of or ripped off. more
