Long story short: I had to put a *lot* of money into my car, and with my student discount I saved about $240, and they did a $125 dollar project for me for free (maybe because they felt bad for how much my costs were!). The whole time they were really kind.
A few weeks later I thought I was hearing some weird noises associated with the same things they had fixed, so I brought it back in. When I called before hand, they said, "Yep, just bring it in and we'll work on it until we get it right." And of course, when I took a technician on a drive with me, my car wouldn't make the noises. Still, they kept it overnight and had 3 different technicians look at it and drive it the next day, and they took off the wheels to inspect everything to figure it out. In short: they put in a lot of time to figure out what it might be. Well, the one noise was related to an issue they told me about over the first visit, and I had forgotten — it was an issue we chose to disregard in the first place. The other noise they figured was a minor thing because everything looked good. Anyway, when I went in to pick it up and pay for the oil change, I asked if I could get a student discount and the main manager (Mark) said, “Pshh, we can do better than that. It’s on the house.” So not only did they spend a good amount of time looking into my issues, but then they comped me an oil change. And they told me, “If the noises become more regular, bring it in and we’ll take care of it.”
Awesome service. I felt well taken care of.
