Awesome burgers. Fun casual atmosphere. Eclectic place. A definite ""must eat at"" when in San Antonio.

I lived in New York the past two years and didn't have a really great burger until I came back to see Chris and Carlos. The cheddar cheezies and fries are my favorites! Pros: big portions more

The burgers are definitely worth the wait. Most nights you will be waiting in line a good 20 minutes, but it seems to go by quickly. Great place for happy hour or to meet friends. more

Have lived in San Antonio for two years, and Chris Madrid's is the place to go. I drive all the way from Schertz, bypassing many other places just for one of their hamburgers. EXCELLENT... more

Not the best 10/20/2002

Although I have eaten several times at Chris Madrid's, I find it hard to give it the best rating in San Antonio for hamburgers. The service is a bit slower and the bugers a bit drier than I prefer. more

Macho 10/20/2002

My dilemma when I go to Chris Madrid's is whether to have the Macho burger or the Macho nachos. So I always try to take my wife and we split the burger and a half order of the Macho nachos. I always leave stuffed and happy. If you like cheese, get the Macho cheddar cheesy burger - but only if you have a good appetite. Pros: good food, inexpensive, okay parking more

I have never gotten a bad burger there. Always the American cheeseburger and it is good and loaded. The worst thing I can say is that sometimes that slice of American cheese is half off the sandwhich and that happens to often. It really is the tastiest burger I have ever had and the toppings are always fresh and just right!
