Prom do 5/5/2007

I had Chris style my hair and several of my friends hair for the prom. Each one was unique, beautiful, and lasted all night. I've had my hair done before for an event and it did not last until I went out. This year was great. I was very happy. more

I'd find the best stylist ever on the Internet? Yep, Chris lives up to her reputation just great with me. She did color that was out of this world, and is great with a flat iron! My hair never looked this good. more

My hair never looked this good. \r \r I will admit that I wanted a spa experience and Chris rents a chair in a nail shop, but for the end result-I'll go to tyhe spa another time. more

Once I saw her I knew she was good 4/19/2007

Walked in and was courteously seated until she finished the customer in the chair. Even though she had not anticipated taking another client, she was happy to fit me in. I did not feel she was rushing through my cut, or that she was in a hurry at all. The conversation was upbeat, and by the time I was done I felt like an old friend. \r By the way, another walk-in came while I was in the chair, and she was very nice in explaining that she was booked, but would be happy to take the lady after she was finished with her appointment. \r I don't anticipate that she will be able to take walk-ins in the near future. The pleasure of having an articulate hair stylist will make people want to book with her. more

My hair was fried when I found Chris 4/9/2007

After too much color etc. my hair was extremely damaged. I was so frustrated at stylists who do anything for money. Chris told me to stop using chemicals and started a series of conditioning treatments. She uses a unique product that can only be purchased through one distributor in the US. It worked really well-after the first treatment my hair was noticeably shinier and felt 100% better. I was sold on the product and the stylist. I would recommend Chris to anyone. more

I just moved to this area and was looking for someone to do my hair. Another mom suggested I try Chris. She told me good things so I thought I'd try. Came away with a great new look, and felt like I had made a friend. My husband also tried Chris and was very happy with his cut. I certainly will go back and tell all my friends. more

She brought me back 3/28/2007

Chris's work has always impressed me but after looking for another stylist when she moved away, I know recognize how talented she really is. She is back and so am I! Never have I been more excited that when I heard Chris was back in town. let's don't let her get away again! There are few out there as talented and concerned with our happiness. finding a stylist isn't easy 3/22/2007

Too many hair stylists either don't pay attention at all, or they do what they want not what you ask for. I found this stylist warm, open and seems to want to be there with the patron. I got a good cut and I really enjoyed the visit. more

She's got the touch... 3/19/2007

Chris has been my stylist for over 20 years now and I have never had a bad cut. She stays up on current styles, constantly learning new techniques, continues to find new looks for me, and really believes in giving great service. I never feel hesitant to recommend her to friends and family because I know she will take care of them. \r In addition, she gives of her time to volunteer for those in need. and LOVES her dog. A person like this is not easy to find. Try her out-you'll be happy!\r more

I have visited many color artists in the East Bay but my search for the best is over! I just had Chris do a 3 color highlight and it is magnificent! The color is different than any I have seen and when I left the salon two people asked me where it was done. If I ever lose this artist what will I do? Pros: Great color, private station, not a huge salon, friendly and caring attitude more

OHMYGOD!! 3/4/2007

After interviewing several other stylists listed on Citysearch, I finally decided to give Chris a try. I must admit that I was skeptical because she was the only stylist in a nail shop and because her prices were so reasonable but still the impression she gave me said she was more about my hair than she was about her image(ie. being in a fancy salon) Pros: Good work, energy, conversationalist. Plenty of parking, convenient location. more
