I started going to Chris and Co about a year ago. I have NEVER gotten so many compliments on my hair!! Ask for Sarah. She is knowledgable and honest about whether or not she thinks a style will look good on your face. Also, the first time I have left a salon and liked the way my hair was styled. I wish I could take her home with me. Absolutely would recommend. Ask for SARAH! more

Unlike the other reviews, I had a horrible experience at Chris & Co. The color was too dark and I asked to have it fixed. They were willing to fix it however they could not accommodate me until 3 weeks! I was told that the original stylist was the one who needed to redo my hair and she did not have any openings until Oct. 21st. I used a groupon and she was the only stylist doing the groupon customers and she was fully booked until then. I understand why she should be the one to redo my hair (commission and all) but my hair color is so dark that I don't even look like myself and I am embarrassed to be seen. I talked to Chris (owner) who told me that they have done everything they could for me. (not sure what they did other than brush me off-and it took her two days to call me back too) I am certain that someone could have fixed my hair or something could have been done to make me a happy customer! Regardless if I paid for my services at a discounted rate through groupon or not....I am still a paying customer ! And for Chris to be so rude to me really blew my mind! For a business owner she needs some help with her people skills. more

I recently saw Olivia for the first time at Chris and Company. Right when I walked in I loved how beautiful it was inside. Then when I met Olivia I knew I would be in good hands. Her warm, welcoming personality and professionalism won me over from the start. She took the time to really talk with me and figure out what I was looking for with my hair. The hilights she gave me were beautiful and exactly what I asked for. She even answered my styling questions. I love my hair and I can't wait to go back again! more

I have been a client/friend of Sarah for the past 12 yrs - we always laugh about me being her oldest cllent - I actually followed her from beauty school and will never go anywhere else - she is the best stylist (and new mother too) and I recommend Chris and her stylists as the best - the salon is beautiful and I always come away with the greatest haircut and color - although i continue to tell Sarah I want a change - it never works!! She knows exactly what to do with my cut and it always looks fabulous until I go home and try to do it myself. Honestly I would recommend this salon 100%. more

I have been going to Chris and Co salon for about 7 years and I HIGHLY recommend this salon! From the moment you walk through the front door you are welcomed by the always friendly receptionist! I have bounced around from a few different stylists in the salon and never once have I been unhappy with the service I received! I know go to see Sarah, and I can't even put into words how amazing and truly gifted she is as a stylist. Every time I go to her I know I am in good hands! I 100% recommend this salon!! more

or I thought!! I recently went to Chris and Co. Hair Salon. The stylist I saw for a few times was Britta. The salon , in my opinion was average and the behavior from Britta was extremely immature. Even though she does not know me well, or my husband, she wanted details regarding his recently diagnosded cancer.When I explained that I did not want to discuss it she became defensive ;and acted wounded!! She also claimed she could get a particular color line in but then backed out saying ?I tend to put the cart in front of the horse?. When I decided this was not the place for me,due to too many discrepencies she actually followed me into the parking lot;and, proceeded to raise her silly voice.I could go on but suffice it to say that I feel honesty is extremely important,and so is professionalism and class.I would not recommend this salon under any circumstances!!!!! more

Chris & Co is a fantastic salon for anything hair related!! Steph has been my stylist for almost 2 years. My thick hair and desire to constantly change styles is a challenge for most people but Steph handles it greatly! Cuts are included with color services making highlights or coloring very reasonably priced! They use good quality color so it lasts! Steph is able to thin out my hair but still keep volume to it. Professional, creative, and friendly!!! Can't be beat more

Chris & Company is by far the best 4/27/2012

Chris & Company is by far the best salon I've been to. The facility is professional and filled with top-of-the-line stylists who really cater to every client's need. I have had my hair done by almost every stylist in the salon, and I can honestly say I have been pleased every time. Steph is probably my favorite stylist- ask for her! She always tries her best to get me into her schedule, her prices are reasonable, and she is great at what she does. As soon as you walk in, someone is right there to check you in, take your coat, and offer you a complementary beverage. Always has up to date and trendy magazines. Chris Pinkalla is so personable and is even willing to schedule complementary consultations just to talk and get a clear picture of what clients want done with their cut, color, or style. I'm convinced this rare combination of a cutting-edge yet down-to-earth atmosphere cannot be found at any other salon! more

I wouldn't risk one of their very young stylists again... 7/29/2011

I love the atmosphere, front desk, location etc.. but the last time I went it was a horrible cut. I showed a picture, and said that I do NOT like soft layers framing my face. I wanted just a couple long chunky layers in front (I had very long hair) the pic showed long pieced chunky layers ending well past the chin. She seemed to understand. Well, my chair was turned for most of the cut and this young stylist Steph gave me very short layers (from my chin to ear) softly blended. Yuck. She could tell I was upset, she was able to straighten them to be a tad more edgy like I wanted but it's MUCH shorter now than I wanted & I am upset she gave me a cut I deliberately told her I didn't want. I still left a tiny tip because she was nice. The first time I went it was a different yet still very young girl. She gave me kind of the same layers, except a bit longer & wasn't as bad. But still, I wonder if they train them ONE way on how to layer. I will give it 1 more try, with an older stylist. Just be careful what you ask for and who you go to. more

Best Salon Ever! 5/5/2011

I have been going to this salon since it opened seven and a half years ago. I knew I would follow Sarah wherever she went. I was very surprised to find an even friendlier and more hospitable salon than the one she was at previously. Chris, the owner, has always been warm and welcoming, never failing to say hi and often stopping to chat. I book appointments three to four months ahead, and sometimes need to change one suddenly. Sarah and Chris have always managed to fit me in. I have recommended this salon to many of my colleagues and family members who also keep going back. None of us even live close to Delafield! Trust me. Chris and Co has been written up twice in Milwaukee Magazine for their excellence both in service and hair care for a reason. You won't be disappointed! more

Favorite Place! 5/5/2011

I travel 30 minutes each way just to get my hair done here. The prices are reasonable and the staff is courteous, professional, and fun. I have been going to them for years now. Sarah does my hair, though several other stylists have cut my kids' hair and everyone has been terrific. We have not had a single bad experience. Last year I had a premature baby and ALL of the stylists followed my blog about him. Chris, the owner, even held and rocked him during my first appointment after he came home. It's this kind of personal attention that makes Chris and Company such a fantastic salon. PLUS, I love that they only do hair . . . no gross nail polish smell. The stylists know a lot about color and really do exceptional work. I highly recommend this place. more

I just recently started coming here when I followed my Stylist, Danielle. I love the atmosphere Chris & Co salon provides and everyone is so friendly. The salon is kept very clean and and I love the way it is decorated inside-presents that welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. more

Amazing! 3/2/2011

I went in to Chris & Co Salon wanting to do something daring with my hair- something like a pixie, but still feminine... I was very nervous; a hairstyle like that can very easily go wrong! Sarah was my stylist- she looked at the pictures that I had of ideas for haircuts, and somehow gave me a haircut that was even MORE amazing than I had ever imagined! 4 days later, I still can't stop looking in every mirror that I pass. I have gotten compliment after compliment about the cut (and color!) that Sarah gave me. My experience at Chris & Co was wonderful. Everyone was very professional and friendly, the salon was beautiful, and I was treated like royalty. I would absolutely recommend this salon (And Sarah!!!) to anyone who asked. I wish I could give it 10 stars! more

Will never go back:( 2/5/2011

I wish I could have given 0 stars as that would be my rating. My 12-year old daughter wanted 2 inches cut off of her once long hair. Notice I said once long. We had a very tearful car ride home as the stylist apparently doesn't listen to directions. Even when my daughter told her it was short enough during the cutting time, she kept on going. How awful! She came out with her hair at least 4 inches shorter and quickly heading out the door, lest someone see her cry in public. She also got layering which she did not want or ask for. No, I think the stylists either are lacking experience or simply don't care what the clients want. more

I have been a client of Chris and Co. Salon for a number of years, and I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! The salon is friendly and current, and my stylist is wonderful. I highly recommend asking for Sarah. She is knowledgeable and extremely helpful when you need a new look for your hair. I have never been bored. I can't believe how many people ask me where I get my hair done! I would just like to comment on Megan342 posting on 11/20/2010--are you speaking of the same Chris and Co salon in Delafield that everyone else that gave awesome reviews about?? I have been a customer of theirs for well over 5 years and feel it is safe to say I have seen 3 receptionists that have been there for at least 2 years, some longer. I have never had scheduling or booking problems of any sort even through the busy holidays. In fact the stylists are nice enough to stay late or come in early to work with your work hours. I have to say the salon is one my the most updated in the area only being 6 years old and has awesome colors and woodwork that gives it a rich look. There are plenty of pictures available online. As for murals with monkey?s on it-there?s one mural with ONE tiny monkey in the corner looking at himself in a mirror. Funny you notices that tiny monkey, I never did until I read your review. The colors of the mural are a vibrant red, greens, browns and tan/ off white so if this is ?dark? to you, I suggest getting your eyes checked for color blindness. more

Wonderful Experience! 11/21/2010

I have never felt the need to write a review on a product or service before, but, after my recent visit to Chris&Co Salon I felt compelled to! Never before had I recieved such exellent customer service! From scheduing to the final styling the experience was superb! The salon is gorgeous with an upscale appearance but at the same time a warm and friendly atmosphere. Most importantly, my hair has never looked better!!!! KUDOS to Chris&Co Salon for giving thier clients an upscale experience, coupled with a warm and friendly atmosphere at fantastic prices!!! more
