Best Dog Walkers EVER! 11/7/2009

These guys are the best. I have always been skeptical of a service that comes into your home while you are away, but last week, I was home one day when my walker came by and she did such a great job with my dog! She even stayed longer than the 25 minutes that we agreed upon and my dog was so happy when she arrived. Not only my walker is great, but Urban Tails has wonderful customer service; they are always sincerly friendly (not the annoying pushy kind of service), flexible and show a complete adoration for my dog. Their service is top-notch! Pros: fantastic customer service, animals lovers, cheap! Cons: nothing more

Best dog walkers in Chicago 11/20/2008

The folks at Chicago Urban Tails have been taking wonderful care of my dog Sasha since January and I could not be happier! Sasha's walker, Tori, took such great care of her and was so attentive to her little quirks. Sasha has been sick on and off for the past few months and Tori would call me at work or leave me notes at home depending on how bad she felt Sasha's condition may have been throughout the day. She even went so far as to clean up the unpleasant surprises in my apartment when Sasha was was really sick. No matter what, she always left me a friendly note to tell me how Sasha's walk went. It definitely made me feel a milion times better about having to leave her at home all day by herself. Pros: Highly personalized service, notes from your walker every day, competitive pricing, friendly! Cons: None! more

Best dog walking service in town! 9/23/2008

The great people at Chicago Urban Tails have been walking Lucky and Willy (our pups) for several years and we could not be happier with their service! We trust them completely...our neighbors also have given us compliments on how well they treat our pups. The walkers are always on time and are so courteous and careful to follow our instructions. The price is the lowest we could find, but coupled with the best service available, we could not ask for more. Also, Mary, one of the managers who frequently answers the phone, is so kind and flexible- she has always tried to work us into the schedule when we have a last-minute emergency. Great Service and Pricing 7/28/2008

Tori and Chicago Urban Tails have been fantastic for our ""little"" dog Jackie. Tori always leaves great notes for us everyday, and also apprises us of anything she notices about Jackie that might be of concern. We are moving out of Chicago soon, and we can only hope to find another dog walking company who provides the same great and courteous service that Chicago Urban Tails does. Great dog walking service! 7/15/2008

We have been using Chicago Urban Tails for about a year now, and couldn't be happier. The walkers are dependable, go the extra mile to get to know your pets, and do a lot of things that pleasantly surprised me (like cleaning up a kennel and the surrounding vicinity from a sick puppy (and cleaning up the puppy) so you don't come home to a crusty mess; carrying a dog with recent back surgery up and down stairs). Our dogs love seeing the same people everyday for their playtime and outing. They have also been great to call on for an extra walk and dinner feeding when working late. I HIGHLY recommend using this service. They are trustworthy, reliable, responsive, and the dogs love them. What more could you want? more

Fantastic Pet care.... 6/9/2008

I just got back from a 17 day trip to Italy and I have never come home to happier more content cats. Normally, I just have friends come over and check on my two cats while I am on vacation but since this was a longer trip I decided to try something else. I have never used a pet service but this experience has converted me. Usually, my cats are pretty unhappy when I get back from vacation but not this time. Not only were my cats super happy but my plants were watered, my mail was on the counter, and I had a note for everyday I was gone with how my cats were doing and the activity the service provided. Chicago Urban Tails is the best pet service in Chicago BY FAR... 4/24/2008

Normally I would never take the time out of my work day to write a review for company; however I feel that Urban Tails should be viewed as an example of how a pet-care service should be run. Without getting into the specifics of their business model, which was/is so carefully and precisely implemented, every aspect of the services rendered is beyond reproach. Pros: Communication, staff, value...everything. Cons: I have never had a single issue in two years. more

Love Love Love Chicago Urban Tails! 4/18/2008

From the managment to the walkers, these guys are the best! I have had my walker for about a year now and she is wonderful! She comes around the same time every day and she leaves the cutest notes for me to come home to! The staff are always so responsive and nice; you can definetly tell this a group of people following their true passion for animals! They are also the cheapest I have been able to find, so just another reason why I give them 2 THUMBS UP! Pros: Friendly, Accomdating, Great Prices Cons: None! more

Goes above and beyond in taking care of beloved dog 3/30/2008

I have been a happy customer with Chicago Urban Tails since getting my cavalier, Nigel, over 3 years ago. But last week they went way above their usual standard in taking care of him. Our walker, Morgan, noticed that Nigel was wheezing and didn't seem to want to walk. She carried him down the 3 flights of stairs so he wouldn't exert himself and let the manager, Mary, know what was going on. Reliable, excellent service, and our dog loved her walker! 3/11/2008

Our pooch loved her walks with Will ... she seemed like a different dog on the days he'd come over and walk her--she had more energy, and it was clear that she felt great after getting some more exercise. Will definitely bonded with our dog, and he left a daily log of their adventures. When he had some extra time, he'd spend it with her, too, instead of just moving on ahead of schedule. Best Pet Care Company I have ever worked with! Great Customer Service! 3/6/2008

Chicago Urban Tails by far exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to their walkers, their customer service and their organization. They always return my calls promptly; they are the friendliest business I have ever worked with and it is obvious they have a true passion for animals. I have tried 2 other companies in this city and Urban Tails by far is the best company. I never worry about if they are going to show up and they always leave the best notes for me to come home to. My walker is great; I really feel like she has fun with my dog every day and that is really important to me. Both of the owners of the company are very friendly and helpful and I can tell that they want nothing more than for me to be satisfied with the service they provide. I was referred to them by a couple of other friends and we all feel the same way about this company; they are fabulous! You certainly can't go wrong with them! Best customer service 2/18/2008

Urban Tails has walked my dog Charlie for the last three years. The owners and managers of the company literally provide the best customer service of any company that I do business with in Chicago. I receive return calls promptly after leaving messages confirming their understanding of my request or in answer to my questions. The walkers themselves are extremely friendly and helpful. I honestly can't say enough about how much I like Urban Tails after having some negative experiences with other dog walking services in the past. more

Worthy of your trust. 12/4/2007

After trying another service which repeatedly FORGOT to show up to take care of my dogs (or was up to 2 hours late in doing so) - I will never go anywhere else but Urban Tails. The staff is incredibly friendly. They are extremely accomodating. And they are 100% reliable. I know my dogs will be WELL taken care-of when I leave them every day. Thanks for the peace of mind!! more

Never worry about your pets again 11/5/2007

Chicago Urban Tails has been walking my puppy, Scout, for five months, and they have been absolutely wonderful. Their walkers are very responsible and caring, and the whole organization is so hassle-free. I love that Scout gets undivided attention every weekday afternoon while I'm at work. When I get home, there's always a nice message about the day's walk waiting for me. more

Amazing Service!!! 10/11/2007

I have a puppy (Hunter) and needed a very specific schedule for him. They have been so accommodating! We have the same walker everytime and you have the luxury of changing your service schedule the morning of if need be, which with my schedule is a necessity. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their dog to have a loving walker! more

I have had other opportunities to switch to slightly more affordable pet walking services, but these guys really care about my oversized pup Shuli. They are always friendly and professional and when I need to switch days (which is often) they don't bat an eyelash. They always give me a status report and the best part is that I run into Shuli's dogwalker Anya all of the time. She's super friendly and I know she appreciates my dog! Best Walkers in Chicago 9/4/2007

When I first started my day job it was hard to put my 2 dogs in their cages for 8 hours at a time. I didn't want them being cooped up for that long with out social interaction...it also meant they would be up ALL NIGHT LONG. Since the very first day that they came to walk our dogs they seemed to have a connection with them and are very caring to their needs. I would highly recommend Chicago Urban Tails - very respectful and easy to talk to...and mostly they care about their clients as they were their own. more

Chicago Urban Tails Rocks! 7/24/2007

I first used Chicago Urban Tails when my beagle puppy Remy was spayed. I could not take her to daycare for 2 weeks after the surgery and needed to have her walked daily. I called 5 dog walking services (including the one that works directly with my vet's office) and none of them would walk by pup for only 2 weeks. They would only take me on as a permanent client. FINALLY Chicago Urban Tails agreed to help me out. The manager that came to my house was very nice and played with Remy and my two cats. Remy got her daily walks for 2 weeks and recovered from her surgery. Then she was back to full time daycare. A few months later when she was a little older I began to leave her home 2 days a week and went back to Chicago Urban Tails. They did a great job with my baby. I always came home to a calm, happy pup with a note about the days activities from Remy's wonderful walker Will. I highly recommend Chicago Urban Tails. They go above and beyond to accommodate you and your pet. Pros: Friendly staff, affordable prices, daily detailed notes from walker, extremely accommodating Cons: They don't service my new neighborhood :( more

Dependable, Caring Pet Service! 7/17/2007

We just started using this service and have found everyone we have talked with to be friendly and attentive not only to our puppy's needs but to ours as well. The walker called me on the first day to introduce himself and to let me know things are good with our puppy. We get notes everyday on how the puppy ate, if she went potty in the right spot and how she acted. It gives us peace of mind to know our puppy is well taken care of when we are away. The best dog walkers in Chicago! 6/6/2007

I have used Urban Tails for four years and started when my chocolate lab, Maddie, was 8 weeks old! The team is always responsive, attentive to Maddie's needs, and extremely responsible. The company is extremely well run and the transition from one dog walker to another is thorough and seamless. I have recommended them to friends who are also very happy with the service. They have worked with me during Maddie's obedience training to make sure they reinforced the lessons during her walks. I get a daily report of what happened on the walks and if there have been any concerns during the day, they have called immediately. I feel so fortunate to have found Urban Tails and Maddie and I could not be happier!! more
