Delicious Food at Chicago Fire 11/10/2011

The greatest thing about Chicago Fire is their homemade sauces, which I like. Their homemade sauces are perfectly created. The flavor and taste of their sauces are excellent. May be that's the reason why their pizzas taste so good. Any flavor of their pizza is heavenly delicious. Pros: null Cons: null more

Fire Doused 9/27/2010

I read in Sacramento Magazine that the pizza here was pretty good so i decided to give it a try. I went on a Saturday night and it was without a doubt the loudest pizza place ever. Usually good restaurants are quiet because if youve got time to talk, the food leaves nothing to be desired. My girlfriend ordered a stuffed pizza and it was just crammed full of cheese. It was so loud our waitress (through no ones fault) ended up getting my order incorrect. The pizza itself didn't kill us, but it did make Chicago fire's rating with me somewhere around Papa Murphy's or digiornos. We could have gone there instead of missing Boise State/Oregon State. Go to Zelda's or Luigi's for pizza royalty. this place stunk. more

Local Pizza Place 3/23/2010

This is a local pizza place. The food is great or they wouldnt be in business. I see these other reviews and laugh, you people are to high up the hill or just to damn picky. Service, yes it will be slow because you show up at 6:00, dah!! call ahead and take it home if you dont have time to wait. Period ! Show up when they open the doors, problem solved or go try mountain mikes lol !! Snobs !! LOL ! Pros: Never a bad Pizza Cons: dont have one more

Go In And Form Your Own Opinion 2/18/2010

I felt someone should toss in a comment or 2 about the long wait, the reservation policy and the fact that most of the negative comments about this place seem pretty self serving. Real deep dish pie takes a long time. I eat out at restaurants a lot. Busy places can't always take care of big groups, even if it is your special night. This place is cool. Readers of reviews should check it out on their own instead of being swayed by someone who obviously had their own issues on the night they went in. Biggest problem on the web is people can throw rocks with impunity. Lighten up people. It's dinner not surgery! Pros: Food, the staff, the way it looks and the managers Cons: You'll always have to wait for a good thing more

What a disappointment 11/15/2009

Was looking forward to treating my Mom, Daughter and Grandaughter to a fun and delicious experience. Was told 45 min wait on arrival, not happy about that but..we were there! Then at the 45 minute marker was told another 15 minutes (1 hour!) And then did not get seated for another 30 minutes! Was FINALLY told that a party of 20 that had reservations for 5 PM did not arrive until 6 PM and they held those tables for them for an hour!!! While all the other guests had ridiculous wait times with no offer of any kind of compensation. Maybe a glass of wine or a beer to ease the pain while waiting on a poor decision. Perhaps a discount coupon for future visit ( if any of them come back!) OR a discount on their dinner last night, 11/14/09 We stood on our feet - no place to sit, even at the bar! I cannot believe they made the decision to hold tables for one hour and made the rest of the customers very disturbed, must be some pretty important customers, sure hope that poor server got a huge tip! Pros: Food was good! Cons: Poor Management 1 1/2 hour wait Told 45 minutes! more

Love, love, love it! 7/25/2009

My girlfriends and I like to go here before going out dancing on our "girls night out". The pizza is great, and once seated (which can take a while), we've never had a problem with the service. Our servers have always been polite and fun......however, we are also nice and polite to them. To all those who complain about rude service, I wonder how you are treating the servers? If you're being rude to them and constantly whining about the wait (which is not the server's fault), you can't expect the server to maintain a cheery attitude with you. Lighten up. Go in expecting to spend some time there, have a drink or two while waiting, and enjoy the pizza when it comes! Pros: Pizza! Cons: VERY BUSY more

Chicago Fire is yummy!! 6/28/2009

Wonderful pizza and a wonderful atmosphere. Historic Sutter Street in Folsom is a great location for any business. Definitely refreshing after a long day of shopping in Historic Old Folsom. more

Chicago Fire is Awesome! 3/14/2009

I love Chicago Fire. They have by far the best pizza in town. It is always hot and the staff is always friendly. They also have the best salads. You can't leave until you have tried the chocolate chip cookie. It comes out warm and it is to die for! more

Chicago Fire is a great place 12/1/2008

Chicago Fire is a great place to spend a evening. We started with a Caesar and a antipasto salad they were quite delicious.\r Then came the pizza, the crust was thin and crisp and soft (I'm not sure how they do that) with tomato sauce that was just right.. Lots of mozzarella cheese, sausage, pepperoni and ham.\r Loved it. more

Great Pizza 10/30/2008

I have been to the midtown Chicago Fire several times - both eat in and take out. The pizza has consistently been perfect! I've never had it overcooked or soggy. The service was slow when we ate in, but the atmosphere is fun and we didn't mind. It took about 2 hours in total to eat in. They get so busy I understand why the service is slow. I love deep dish, and this pizza is some of the best deep dish I've ever had. Pros: Amazing food Cons: slow service more

BEST PIZZA AROUND SACRAMENTO !!!! 10/20/2008

My family loves this place. We take alot of people here and it is great everytime. Cons: parking, but hey its old town Folsom more

I'll stick with to BJ's 10/19/2008

Last night was my second attempt with Chicago Fire Pizza in Folsom, and again I'm terribly disappointed. I arrived at 630pm and left at 930. Ridiculous! The server approached us as we were leaving and asked for a bigger tip. That was amazing! The pizza tasted good, but is overpriced in my opinion. I'll never go back. more

Horrible Service 9/15/2008

The first time I went to Chicago Fire I felt the service was not at all what it should have been. Took a while to greet us, then the whole time it felt as though we were a burden to the server. I thought well hopefully the pizza will be a step up above the customer service. Finally when the pizza arrived the presentation looked pretty good but once you put it on your plate it just fell apart and the crust was soggy. The second time I went was just for a drink with some friends and maybe an appetizer. Well we didn't get either. Basically sat at the bar while the bartender servered several other customers, looked at us and continued to server anyone else who walked up to the bar area. Finally came over to us and because we didn't order fast enough for him he turned and walk away to serve someone else. This is that last time I or the group I was with, will ever set foot in that resturant again. There are too many other great resurants in Sacramento to be wasting my time with this one. Pros: Ambience Cons: Service, Pizza more

Over an hour wait for a pizza 8/19/2008

We brought friends from out of town to the midtown Chicago Fire. I was the only person who had been there before; last time, I wasn't exactly bowled over by their pizza but thought the restaurant itself was satisfactory. This time I was extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and the wait time. We arrived at about 8pm (on a Monday evening) and were seated immediately. Drinks were brought promptly and we put in our order, a large deep dish pizza with Canadian bacon and pineapple. We were fully aware of the 30-35 minute cook time, but still had not received any food by 9pm. At that time we were informed by our waiter, Parul, that it would be "about 15 minutes," so we ordered another round of drinks. After a few minutes he came by to let us know the pizza "came out, but wasn't quite right" and would be another 5 or 7 minutes. (I can't imagine what could have been wrong with the pizza, after that long, that could be fixed in the next five minutes.) The pizza itself was, again, satisfactory. I can only assume the waiter forgot to put in our order and didn't bother to let us know until we'd waited for an hour, but it wasn't exactly busy that evening. If that were the case, he could have at least let us know when he realized his mistake and brought us something to munch on. We would have ordered appetizers if we had known we wouldn't be eating for an hour and a half. Needless to say we did not leave a tip, as we instead paid for a second round of drinks we didn't plan on ordering. Pros: Ambience is good and food is fine. Cons: Long wait and unprofessional staff. more

Sometimes OK, Sometimes NOT 8/5/2008

Have been to the Midtown Chicago Fire a number of times. The food has been inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza is perfectly cooked and other times crust was overcooked and one time down right burnt. The spinach salad sometimes is perfectly dressed, sometimes very dry. Generally, though the food is good and worth the price. I have yet however, ever gotten good service. Servers are rude, unattentive and act like you're inconveniencing them. And I can't stand to have my food handed to me over that railing. Are the servers so tired they can't walk around and set and pick up your plate from the table? Not good. I keep going back hoping for improvement. Pros: Good food, sometimes Cons: Bad service, all the time more

I like their pizza 5/28/2008

We were a party of 7, kids included and we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered the spinach salad, fries, wings, and pizza. Our friends said the last few times the food came out slow but for some reason the food came out faster than the norm. I like their food but probably will eat here once in a while. more
