Chem-Dry By The Millers

I have used several other Chem Drys in the area including the one advertised from SA (the worst one I've used) and the Chem Dry Millers was by far the best. I have several properties that I get cleaned yearley and will use them for all of them.\r \r I had dog urine from an aging dog in my family room and was ready to replace the carpet. I called ChemDry Millers and got an estimate. They fit me in their schedule before Christmas and came out 3 days later. They gave me a firm price before they started and used several different things to get out the urine and stains. The carpet came out great and I now don't have to replace the carpet. It smelled great also\r \r The results are worth what I paid for saving the carpet. more

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! I had them come out for a tile and grout cleaning and they made the grout worse than before they arrived. They came back out and said the grout was already dirty. I showed them areas they did not clean which were much cleaner and they then said it has to do with the grout. They returned again to clean only three tiles so I could show them that their product does not work - and they have not returnedrepeated phone calls to come back out. FYI - the three tiles they ""cleaned"" are no better.\r \r To top it off- they are not refunding my money. By far - worst experience ever.\r \r more

My family and I have used several Chem Drys in San Antonio and Chem Dry by the Millers was the most professional and reasonably priced. They removed stains that we were told would never be removed. I will recommend them to the rest of my family here in San Amtonio. more

Had the Millers out to clean for us. The guys were extremely nice and really knew their stuff. Will use them and I do reccomend them! more

My comments are not in regard to the actual service itself but to the customer service. I called and made an appointment for one bedroom and a foyer area, the lady told me that would qualify for their $69 special. I said that was fine. When they came, my roommate showed them the areas and the technician said ""That's going to be $216 for four rooms."" What????? He told them I only agreed to the $69 special so they did two rooms and completely missed the foyer area, which by the way was the worst area in the house. I called and explained the situation, asking if they'd return to do the foyer area at no charge since I had explicitly told them at the time of booking that's what I wanted done and they said no. Again, the cleaning service was acceptable but the customer service was not. I will find another cleaner to do my foyer area. more

Had the Millers out to clean my carpet and sofa. They did an excellent job. I usually dont write reviews but I was so impressed with them, I had to take to time to do so. I will use them again, and again. and will refer them to everyone. more

Were very efficient and knowledgeable. The had many more options and services available than any other carpet cleaner I have ever used before, they presented these options and explained well and helped me to pick the treatments that were right for me. Thank you for a great experience!! more

We have been using chem-dry Millers for several years and have found it to be the best one we have used. They get stains out other people can't . They charge for anything out of the ordinary like dog urine but I do not expect them to do my dog urine for free, that would be like getting an oil change and expect to get a tune up for free or expecting them to clean xtra rooms for free. I have always been pleased with their service and their people. more

I had a coupon for 69.99 for 2 rooms, I called Chem-Dry and told them I also had a closet they told me it would be another 10-20 dollars depending on the sz. The carpet cleaner person told me it would be 89.99 because he was charging me for 3 rooms. I informed him that I did not have 3 rooms I had 1 and a half rooms and a closet. Instead of honoring the coupon he walked out. I would check very closely before using this company because I feel they are trying to pad the jobs. They also are not honoring there coupons. more

Had chem-dry by the millers out to clean my carpets in new braunfels. they also cleaned my uphostery and i will have them back to clean my tile and grout also. They also did carpet cleaning for my 2 brothers in san antonio, and my sister in austin. They cleaned carpets for my aunt in sequin, and my my mother in New braunfels also. Thats funny, I just heard my mom say they cleaned for my grandparents in Austin before they passed. I have heard nothing by great reviews of chem-dry by the Millers. Always look for the Millers!! very polite and professional. they removed pee spots and marksalot spots other carpet cleaners only gave excuses for not removing spots-not chem dry by the millers they tried and removed all of my spots. I willuse them again. more

Had Chem Dry by the Millers out to clean my carpets in west chester. They also cleaned my sofa and love seat. I was so impressed, I am having them back next week to clean my tile and grout! Will use again, I will refer them often more

This carpet cleaner is great. We came down to visit my mother for the week and my three year old got into my wifes red lipstick. Let me tell you it was everywhere. It was all over my mothers white carpet, it was on her white couch. I thought my mother was going to kill me. I looked in the phone book and called several chem drys ( I always use chem dry to clean my carpets) and the chem dry that sounded the most professional was chem dry by the millers. One chem dry even bad mouthed chem dry millers, that was extremely unprofessional. I scheduled them to come out and they showed up on time. They gave me an estimate before the work was done and it was reasonable. they did the work and WOW!! they got every bit of lipstick out of the carpet and upholstery. When they were through I thought they would try to charge me more (i thought price was too cheap) but they didnt they stood with the estimate they gave me at the begining. I went ahead and tipped them for such a wonderful job and for saving me. more

We have used chem dry by the millers for four years now. The work they do is always great. The technicians are always a pleasure to work with. My carpets are fifteen years old and everytime they clean them they look brand new again. I recommend them to everyone I know. more

So I tried chem-dry instead of using Stanley Steamer like we usually do b/c we had a coupon. When I called to make the appt, she told me it would run somewhere between $250-275. She also said the difference between what they do, and a ""steam cleaner"" company is that the carpets would be dry within 30 minutes b/c they don't saturate the carpets.\r \r FIRST problem: they were supposed to be here between 1 and 2pm. At 2pm, I called b/c they were not here, and I was told they were running really behind, and she would call me back. She then called and said they'd be 20 minutes. My issue is that I have little kids whom I was trying to keep out of the house while this was going on. We ended up driving around doing nothing while waiting for them to finish.\r \r PROBLEM #2: They told my husband it was going to be $500+! They had quoted me $250-275. I told my husband forget it, and to send them on their way. They then ""magically"" dropped the price to $316.\r \r PROBLEM #3\r \r She told me that the difference between chem dry and steam cleaning is that they don't saturate the carpet, and that the floors should be dry within 30 minuted to an hour. It's been 5 hours since they left, and our stairs are SOAKED. When you walk on them, water comes up between your toes! Now I am worried about mildew and mold growing. I called to speak with the owner, but he was already gone. My husband is right now soaking up the water with towels so that it doesn't sit wet all night.\r \r PROBELM #4\r \r Our carpets don't look any better! We've only had this carpet for 2 years and have NO pets, so our carpet didn't look too bad. My husband didn't even think we needed it cleaned. Of the few stains that were there before, THEY'RE ALL STILL THERE! What a wasted of money. I will definitely be calling someone else next time...and maybe to fix the carpet from THIS time. I also had a coupon for carpet cleaning. By the time the tech had written up a contract the price had more then tripled and we were led to believe it included cleaning oriental carpets. . When I was presented my bill it was not what had been quoted, it had been increased for something he had ""forgotten""...the original prices had been scratched out and changed! I was then informed the price did not include the oriental carpets. Thank God they had not taken my oriental carpets to the shop yet!!! Not only did they bait and switch, the tech let my dog out! The young man had finished washing his hands in my kitchen and said..by the way, I let your dog out and it wouldn't come when I called it. I had to go chase down my dog! YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! If I could give them a ""negative star"" rating I would. They do not even rate an ""eh"" We called the office immediately and asked for the owner to call and to date have not received any response!! more

The workers were clean cut. they knew how and what to use on my carpets and upholstery. the results were phenomenal. I will call them again. more

I have had my carpet cleaned many times in the past by the cheapest i could find because i thought all the companies were the same. I was wrong. I was more than pleased to see two technicians that were clean cut nice guys. I been so used to these guys tattoed from head to toe that can barely explain what they do. The two men were well informed and put me at ease right away. they gave me a solid price before starting and were done in a timely manner, oh and they didnt drag dirty houses through my yard then my house either. Professional i guess is the best describer. I went back to work and my wife said she was totally comfortable reading a book relaxing as they finished. The machine was supriseingly quiet and there was no mysterious banging around. GREAT GUYS AND GREAT SERVICE. The negative reviews are supriseing and a little fishy to me. How could it be bait and switch when they give you the price a few minutes after arriveing doesnt make sense to me. These guys were great only the millers for my family im haveing them back soon to clean my couch and ill update my review on that. more
