I contacted this company to try to have the carpet in the trunk of my car cleaned after it had oil spilled on it. I was told that they offered a full interior cleaning for $79.95 and that they had a couple chemicals they could try to remove the oil, so I booked an appointment for between 12 and 4 on a Saturday. I was told I would be contacted when they were on their way. \r

I was home from 11:30 on, and at about 1:30 happened to walk outside and when I came back in I noticed a magnet from the company at the bottom of my front door. No one had called, no one had knocked, and no one had rang the doorbell. Even if I hadn't been nearby to hear the knock or the doorbell, I have a crazy dog that would have made all kinds of noise if someone had come to the door... beside the fact that if they'd actually called, there would have been no issue.\r

When I contacted the office to tell them what had happened, they told me that if I wanted to reschedule they could give me 20% off. I reluctantly agreed, since I had had no luck removing the oil myself. I rescheduled for between 12 and 4 on Monday.\r

The company actually called around 11 on Monday and asked if it was okay to come a little early. This was fine with me so they headed over. When they arrived they presented me with an invoice for $79.95, which indicated that it included a 20% discount. I told the gentleman who was there to do the cleaning that this was not what I had been quoted, and he called the office and put me on the phone with them. I was told that the service is normally $99.95 and that the price they gave me indeed included the 20% discount. When I explained that I had never heard the $99.95 number and that I had no idea the $79.95 included a discount, the manager offered me $10 off for a total of $69.95. \r

Since this was still not the number I agreed to, I continued to plead my case that I'd never heard the $99.95 number, that I had been inconvenienced on Saturday, and that I wanted to pay what I had agreed to pay. At this point I was basically told that I was lying about A) the price I was originally quoted - they insisted I had been told it included a 20% discount; and B) that no one had knocked on my door or rang the doorbell on Saturday - the woman I was speaking to said, ""they wouldn't have just put a magnet on the door and left..."" and laughed. \r

I told the woman on the phone that I was going to send the gentlemen who had arrived to do the cleaning away because I wasn't getting what I'd agreed to. She said she was sorry and hung up. I have other options I can try, so I wasn't about to give them any more than what I'd agreed to, given the inconvenience and the manner in which the situation was being handled. The men got back in the truck and left. \r

This entire ordeal was handled very unprofessionally, and ultimately they ended up throwing away the business over $6.
