My acer laptop windows was not turning on, and it would have a lot of pop ups and all different types of virus. My friend had used cheapest computer fix and the he told me about them. I called them, and they gave me a very fair quote. I took it to them, they fixed it in one day,and gave me a working computer with anti- virus loaded. Very happy with the service. more

I found out about Cheapest Computer Fix through my cousin. I selected them because of their positive reviews. My computer crashed and they looked at my computer for free. They called me and offered to fix the computer at a very reasonable price. Within a short time I had my computer back and they had to redo my hard drive. They took ALL (and I have many) files, documents and pictures off AND put them back on after fixing my computer. If you need your computer fixed this is the place to go! The staff are super nice and I felt like they really wanted to help me not just take my money. In silver spring, its hard to find a place like this more

The Ipad3 I had was very sensitive to any pressure. I accidently broke it on a fishing trip. The next day we brought it to be fixed and they did for very affordable price. Great ipad screen repair shop in Maryland. more

My Daughter noticed that her computer performance was not like it used to be. We thought it was from pictures but the way it began to malfunction we knew it was a virus. My sister referred me to cheapest computer fix. They were really good. They fixed it in a day, gave us an anti virus, and also made sure everything was saved in our system, and now the laptop works very fast! more

My sons laptop was destroyed from a lacrosse stick accident. The screen turned black and we couldn't see anything. We took it to where we purchased it from but they said they don't have the tools to fix it so we asked around and we were referred here. In three days we received a call stating our computer was ready to pick up. We got it back in even better condition than we left it. Absolutely recommend this computer repair shop. more

Beware! \r \r I dropped off my laptop for a broken hardware. It still worked perfectly, but the joint was broken and the bezel and hinge needed to be replaced.\r \r It took OVER 2 MONTHS (62 days) and dozens of phone calls begging for the return of my laptop to get it back. I just picked it up and it is missing the hinge entirely and WILL NOW NOT TURN ON AT ALL. I took it in for a cosmetic repair and, after 2 months at Cheapest Computer Fix, it is returned COMPLETELY BROKEN.\r \r Gary had many excuses to why I couldn't pick it up: He said he needed to order more parts, then he couldn't fix it, then he said he'd ship it to me, then the fictitious shipping company couldn't deliver it, then the shipping company lost it, then he said that Cheapest Computer Fix lost it.\r I had to have a LAWYER WRITE TO HIM and then he ""found"" my computer within 10 minutes - after 2 months of waiting! Now I have to go to SMALL CLAIMS COURT! You do not want this hassle!\r \r Please be careful! Other reviewers have had similar problems! more

Stay away from this shady business.\r \r I brought my mac laptop to Cheapest Computer Fix for a new battery. It took them 13 days to repair and return my laptop. Instead of giving me a new battery, they gave me a refurbished battery. They did additional damage to my computer. I had to bring my laptop to a different service provider to get it working again. I'm in the process of filling suit. During the entire experience, they were unprofessional. more

The only explanation for this business's good review score is that they spend all their time posting fake reviews instead of fixing computers. I have NEVER dealt with such an awful business before, and I'm including BGE and several used car dealerships in that list.\r \r I brought in a laptop for repair, and during the two weeks they had it, they never once initiated contact to give me a diagnosis, let me know it was finished - nothing. They also kept raising the price - what I payed in the end was almost twice the original quote, even though they didn't find anything wrong with it other than the original problem. When I asked about the price increase they were really vague and refused to give any details about what specifically they were replacing. \r \r I'd be surprised if they were still in business by next year.\r Stay far away. more

My desktop would not turn on, and I thought it was motherboard. Luckily, Gary the technician diagnosed my PC, and it was power supply that needed to be replaced. They replaced power supply, completely cleaned my pc, and now my computer is working great. Thank you Gary and CCFX! more

NEVER! Let me repeat NEVER use this company. I left my computer to have the hard drive transferred. They lost EVERYTHING and gave me someones info instead. I had these people's entire life on my computer. I was told to just delete it. Instead I found the owners and in turn found out that they were told the lost the info (I had) was due to a virus on their computer...LIES all LIES! Oh yes, and while I was there trying to retrieve my lost info the cops were called because they would not return another persons computer. Appts are missed and calls are not returned. Do not use them.... more
