This is the best salon I have ever been to! From the time you walk in, my stylist is a great friend, the cleanliness is so noticeable, to the check out area! You have worked hard to make everything great! Keep up the great work! more

Worth it 1/15/2012

I always enjoy coming in to get my highlights and cut. When I walk out I feel so much better knowing my hair is healthier looking and brighter. I feel even better when someone notices and compliments me on how great I look. Thanks again. more

Spa visit 1/14/2012

I was thoroughly relaxed after spending time in the sauna. Kerri made me very comfortable as she took time to identify the right facial for my skin. After my facial, I relaxed and tried to get ready to face the world in the serenity room - a wonderful way to end a treatment. No rush, no hurry. A true mini vacation. My skin looks great, even next day, and I look forward to my next "self-treat". more

Alana's shampoos 1/13/2012

Alana gives the best shampoos I have ever had and I have had many! The shampoo was so delightful and relaxing, I could have spent my entire afternoon under her fingertips! More than that, Alana is so pleasant and accommodating, she is truly an asset to your staff! more

Charles David Experience 1/13/2012

I love going to Charles David - always great results. My only criticism is the self-blow dry. After spending $$$ I think they do a disservice by not providing complimentary blow drying. Why wouldn't you want your client leaving as best as possible? Also, the new guest service area makes you feel as though you are in the window of a pet store. Not a pleasant way to end. more

Foil experience 1/13/2012

Again, another terrific experience! I usually have Buddy foil my hair but for this particular visit, I saw Melissa Larkin due to the fact that Buddy was on vacation. Melissa is so wonderful and welcoming and makes you feel so at home. It's so comforting to know that when you can't see your regular stylist, there is always someone else that you can go to and know you are leaving the salon looking your best. more

Great personal service 1/12/2012

I came to my appointment with a problem with color. My stylist immediately offered great suggestions and consulted her associates. i ended up with great hair and a workable solution. I think my stylist Patricia went above and beyond for my appointment. Great job. more

The staff are all extremely courteous and professional answering phones and setting up appointments. Christie is my stylist and she is the best I have ever had for cuts and color. I am asked at least once a week where I get my hair done! more

Coudn't be happier 1/10/2012

I went there looking and feeling down and out I immediately felt like a superstar. I was welcomed right from the start I was offer coffee, they took my coat I felt so important My color stylist was warm, friendly, funny, more than accommodating and an expert. I got a last minute manicure again was showed so much attention. I hate to sound conceited but I walked out of CD looking FABULOUS. every one at the wedding said I was amazing!!!! Wow! Thank you! Now I want to continue to keep treating myself. more

Jill is quite the asset 1/7/2012

Hi, I have been a customer for at least 20 years now and I do have to tell you in my busy hectic life, even though it is one more appointment I have to attend, I feel a sense of relaxation when I walk in the doors. Your customer service is outstanding, all of your staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable. Jill is always friendly and I have never had a bad appointment with her. I am constantly getting comments on my hair color and style and in turn I refer her for business. My daughter and son have been going to Jill for quite some time now (they have grown up with CD) and they would not go anywhere else! Even if Jill is not available and we have had to make appointments with other stylists, we have never been dissapointed. Your standards are high for all of your staff. With that said, leaving CD I always feel relaxed, renewed and ready to face my hectic schedule after walking out of your doors! Thanks Jill and all the staff at CD! more

Amanda is great. I just felt a bit overwhelmed by too many people attending me, that it was too upscale for me, too elite. My money is as good as the other persons. And after 5 years as a client I wrote a formal letter to ask for a small donation for a high profile golf tournament, (Rockland Education Foundation) I was so dissed, that I got a bit saddened by this. I was told that the management was too busy to answer my letter. So, you're into Boston, so I'm into supporting the South Shore,where most of your income if from. I do a lot of charity work here, and was so sad that I apparently was not worthy of a phone call? after 5 years, at $150 every 5 weeks? I think you should rethink your marketing, but I know you do well with with the Boston crowd, so o.k. But, Amanda is great. oh, and I am sponsoring the Boston Gay Men's Chorus on MArch 11 at the First Congregational Church of Rockland. Maybe you can help. Janet Cann more

10 Year Customer - Always see the same stylist! 1/3/2012

I have been a Charles David customer for 10 years now. I have never been one to enjoy a day in the salon however, the stylist that I see, Katelyn S., is the best ever, and I only see her every time I go! She makes every one of my visits to the salon enjoyable and comfortable and my hair always turns out exactly the way I want it to! The only downfall to a few of my visits has been the front desk. Sometimes I feel as though I'm not greeted as nicely as other customers, and sometimes I feel as though they rush me to check out, or ignore me while I'm checking in until it's convenient for them. Sometimes their phone etiquette when trying to schedule an appointment is similar, very pushy. However this past week my experience was all-around perfect. There were new women at the check out desk who were more than friendly! I have recommended about 6 new customers to their location who continue to go there and specifically see my stylist! She rocks! I will continue to recommend new customers! more
