patricia is my stylist and she does a great job. Only negative part was another client interrupted my session to talk about displease with her hair. This was not a reflection on the salon but the inapproriate behavior of another client. more

Better than Newbury Street 10/3/2011

The quality and level of service here is always above par. From the moment you step in, everyone is very helpful and friendly. The professional services are consistently top notch, better than even Newbury Street! I always enjoy my visits to Charles David. Thank you to all of you who make it possible. more

Facial 10/3/2011

My spa experience was excellent. Upon arriving I was excorted to the changing area and shown how to get to the rest/relaxation area. Since arriving early to my appointment, I had the pleasure of utilizing the steam/sauna room. Jessica was spectacular. My face feels so clean and refreshed. I was allowed sufficient time to rest prior to checkout with a fruit juice seltzer and warm shoulder pack while I relished in my tranquility. Upon checkout I had to purchase a facial gift certificate for my daughter, so that she might enjoy the same relaxing experience. The only minor problem that I noticed was laughter and loud talking at times from the salon. more

I always arrive to a pleasant welcome, it's like going to a friends house. Service is professional, individualized and the results are consistently excellent. I leave refreshed and feeling better than when I arrived. Thank you to Buddy, Julie and all the staff at Charles David! more

Best Hair Color! 10/2/2011

I just want to say that I have been seeing Casey Dooley for years now. She is by far the BEST Stylist I have ever worked with. Her knowledge of hair and color is amazing. I am always happy with her suggestions and I am never afraid to try something new with her as I know I will be pleased. Charles David is lucky to have such a wonderful team member! more

Excellent! 10/2/2011

Always welcomed warmly for starters. I always see Buddy for my color and just LOVE LOVE LOVE him! He's the best of the best and I would be devastated if he moved away or said he was done doing what he does! Today Michelle (downstairs) cut my hair and I love my cut! She was so personable and did exactly what I asked. When I checked out today, Karen took care of me and I love her! Of course I'll be back! Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. more

I would like you to know how very pleased I am to have Giovanna as my stylist! Over the past two+ years, she has given me such a wonderful and consistently good haircut, that I really had to let you know. My hair is very curly and a bit unpredictable. I have been most impressed that not only does my hair look great when I leave the salon, but it grows out so well! That is something I have never been able to say about any stylist I have ever had here in the US or abroad! You are to be complimented on your friendly and talented support staff as well. I am always treated warmly and the atmosphere is very welcoming.... Thank you for giving me this easy way to let you know how I feel about my wonderful stylist Giovanna, and what great place Charles David Salon is! more

In 25 words or less how does one tell about the wonderful experience of being one of the women who can walk through their day knowing they look fabulous thanks to the pampering they get at Charles David Salon. We walk with confidence knowing that we look great and everyone asks.."where do you get your hair styled?" and reluctantly you tell them...because you fear if you tell too many women there will be no open appointments once another woman finds out how great the salon experience at CD can be. It is a staple of my life...thank you for helping me to look my best and I love the women who pamper me every week....hairstylists Kelly Berry, and Andrea Loomis and Jessica who does fabulous eyebrows...I find it all at Charles David Salon...thank you so much. more

Great Place! 10/1/2011

We just moved into town and I had no where togo so my neighbor suggested CD and I called that day and got an appt the same day and what a great job Brian did. You can choose the level of stylist you wan and obviously the least expensive is the least expensive, but usually I find the newer girls really try hard so I went with the lowest level and was really with happy with all her suggestions, glaze and the cut. I will be going back in 5 weeks to get a bit of a highlight. They had a coffee machine and cookies set up and it was a great afternoon. more

Andrea is always a delight, always upbeat and accommodating wanting to please her client. She has been my hairdresser for a number of years and I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Amy did my shampoo for the first time today and I thoroughly enjoyed both her work and her friendliness. Both women are definite assets. more

where's my colorist? 9/30/2011

When having my hair colored here, I most often do not have it blown dry or 'styled'. This isn't to save money,because no one gives me a discount, but I haven't met a hairdresser yet that could work with naturally curly hair, other than blow it straight. My frustration is that after coloring my hair, the designer or colorist disappears after putting the solution on my head and I am left with the 'rinse your hair' person. Shouldn't the designer come back to check the coloring of my hair? I feel abandoned here. more
