Changing Spaces Moving were very timely and courteous. The move was on time and satisfactory. No damage and had a good day with the move. The move was from out of state to Houston, Texas. The people were friendly. I recommend them to anyone who wants to move interstate. more

On Tuesday, April 23 two of your employees moved our belongings from Birmingham to Gadsden. This email is just to let you know that this was the best move experience we have ever had. It was because of two of your employees. Eric and Noah. While I don't know their last names I am sure you can determine who they are. Both of theses individuals were courteous and friendly. They were very helpful and willing to do everything that we asked of them. They worked very hard, and to my knowledge, they never took a break even though I suggested that they do so. They both knew how to move furniture and belongings very efficiently. I hope you will let them know how much we appreciated them. If we ever move again I hope we can find someone near as good. Changing Spaces was a little more expensive, not much but some, than the other companies I quoted. That said - I would NEVER use another company to move my home ever again as long as they were in the area! And neither should you if you want the thing done right and with care for your things. There are not enough stars or number high enough to give them the rating of excellence they deserve! The crew arrived very promptly and never stopped running from the moment they arrived! Seriously, running.....well except when they were carrying heavy items and furniture. When you are quoted by the hour - and most moving companies do quote this way nowadays - you can have concern about "lag" time. These guys dropped off their box or item (in the truck or in the house on the other side) and ran back for more. With a GREAT attitude! Their professionalism is off the charts and they were nice gentlemen too! When I told them they did not have to run, they just said "we like it". I had a couple of items I was nervous about moving, explained it to them and they certainly took great care in moving those things. I was within my budget, within my quoted time (they take a lot of time on the phone in getting you an estimate to get as close as possible) and very pleased with the whole move experience. Be sure when you call to try to give as much detail as to what you have to move (number of boxes is always a hard one) to help them quote. more

We have moved quite a few times and have always used Changing Spaces Moving. My daughter has used them as well. They are the most courteous group of people I have ever dealt with in a professional setting/in the working world. They just do what they say, they are on time, they are fast, and the guys are so thorough and helpful and polite. I can't say enough about them and Joe, the owner, is fabulous. It is a really good business that we have used many times over. more

Changing Spaces did a wonderful job of my move from Birmingham to Huntsville. They packed me the first day, loaded the second, and moved me the third. Everyone was on time, polite, clean, and professional. Not a thing was broken. The estimate was very close to the final bill (it was only a little more b/c my items were a bit heavier than estimated). My emails were responded to quickly and gave me all the info I needed. We've moved 4 or 5 other times, so we've had a lot of experience with people moving us. Changing Spaces Moving sent two gentlemen who loaded and unloaded us. They worked really hard. They ran each of the boxes themselves, so we wouldn't have to worry about damage. Nothing was broken. They did a really nice job loading and covering things. Eric and Brent were wonderful movers! they were super friendly and extremely fast. They literally jogged from the house to the truck. They were careful and thoughtful about putting things where we wanted them. We even asked them to move the couch and chair into the front room after they had already maneuvered it into the back room and they had no problem doing that for us. I would definitely recommend them. more

Changing Spaces Moving moved me about an hour and twenty minutes away. They moved my household as well as staffed two furniture pick-ups at different locations. Their charges were reasonable and the two movers worked fast and hard. Ryan had a wonderful personality. Changing Spaces Moving helped us move from a house, which had been our home for over twelve years. So, we had a lot to move and they provided two of their larger trucks. The move was to a neighboring city and took about twelve hours. The movers were fantastic. They were constantly moving, and had an upbeat and positive attitude. The move was a very emotional and stressful experience, and the moving crew was very professional the entire time. I do recommend that people let their movers know if they have specific requests for how certain pieces should be handled. more

They refused to schedule my move when I asked, but they promised they would finish by a certain time. They were over 30 minutes late to start the move. They finished over 3.5 hours later than they promised and charged me the full price. The owner or manager was unapologetic and highly unprofessional. We always go above and beyond for our clients as we value them a great deal. In fact, we make it a point to be careful, fast and courteous on every job we do. We want to be your mover! Because our previous job ran over, we were 15 minutes late. We strive for perfection, but 15 minutes is not bad for any service company! We offered you 30 minutes off our total time. We almost never give time discounts, but we were trying our best to satisfy you. We are genuinely surprised to see your review. From the start, you did not accurately disclose the scope of work you needed from us. You had approximately twice as much work for us to complete in a short amount of time, including 2 undisclosed large heavy granite slabs and a heavy three piece desk. Plus, we had to park the truck 150 feet away when loading items when you told us we could park close to the door. That is a round trip walk of 300 feet per carried item. The move out upstairs walk was also a long walk of 125 feet and down a very slow elevator. Moving is calculated by the physics of walk distances, stairs, elevators and number of items carried to the truck. The move out round trip walk was approximately 550 feet plus a very slow elevator trip that we could not control. After the move, you even complimented our workers for their hard work throughout the day. They were running back and forth to the truck in 105 degree heat! That running saved you approximately 25 percent of moving costs, especially with the long round trip distances and you even ended up tipping them $100! Naturally, we were very surprised to see your review. The bottom line is that you got a good move and a deal. We made every effort to accommodate you during your move and to make you happy with our service. I would highly recommend Moving Spaces to you for your move. I had interviewed around 6 companies whose sales people were effective on the phone, but as I spoke with them, they were not as knowledgeable or informative as I found Ms Lori to be. I have moved before and mostly difficult moves, and have run into many problems. I was being careful too about having my smaller load (around 4thousand lbs) not being added to another load. Been there done that and I always thought that getting on the end of a load would save me money. It did not and was always a headache. Also the larger companies did not always have the same men loading in and then loading out. Moving spaces took me from AL to NC in their well maintained 28" truck and I was the only load. Filled around 1/4 of the truck but it was secure. When I spoke with Lori, she was not only informative but when I would call or email her, I would get a quick response. Being a family owned business myself, I know we always go the extra mile to accommodate our clients and Moving Spaces is family driven and Lori was consistently interested/knowledgeable about my concerns. Nothing was too much or a problem for her. They also stuck to their quote and there was no problem when loading out with the payment. The men were respectful,cheerful and also knowledgeable and they stuck to the time frame. Their quote was a bit higher than the other quotes I had gotten. I know that after all is done those lower quotes can increase at load out and that is very upsetting because it is so hard to concentrate at the time and figure out what the charges are and how they were incurred. This did not happen with Moving Spaces. That was just plain wonderful to me. It all went so smoothy. My thanks to Mr.Drew and Mr. Mike who were competent and nothing was an issue for them. Anything I needed from questions to helping me finish the packing I was concerned doing (Curio cabinet glass shelves). This is the first time I have moved without breakage of some kind done by the men. Thanks to Moving Spaces...as you can see I do recommend them highly. Thank you. more
