Changing Spaces Moving

I just want to thank Mike and Eric C. for their help moving Saturday. They were very professional, patient (we did not have everything packed and ready like we should have), and always kept moving. They did not stand around at all. Moving can be very expensive and stressful but they made it a much easier process and it was worth every penny. more

Zach and Hayden did a great job. They were early which was a real plus and they didn't waste any time. They took care to make sure that everything was secure before taking any action. They tried to think out every move before making a move. more

Being Active Duty Army for over 30 years, our family has moved numerous times. In all those moves, we have never had as positive an experience as we did with Changing Spaces Moving. We are now retired, so this was the first time we have had to plan and execute a move without assistance from the Army, and to make the stress even worse, I had to do everything myself since my husband is working for the Army in Kuwait. From the first telephone inquiry to the last signature on the delivery paperwork, Changing Spaces exceeded my expectations. Lori and Peg asked all the right questions to determine how many trucks and men were needed. I was a little skeptical when told that they work on an hourly fee basis, and that one truck and crew could not do the job in one day, but my concerns were totally unfounded. Using 2 trucks and 4 men, Keith and Brian loaded our things from two 10x15 storage units while Drew and Cody loaded furniture and household goods from our rental house. Both trucks, packed full, met at the new house and the four men worked non-stop in 93 degree heat until all was unloaded. The men were very careful with our things, well dressed, clean-cut, respectful and happy! I never heard a complaint or foul language; they didnt ask to play music; I never saw a cell phone; and they worked together as a team supporting and challenging one another even though they worked a 10-hour day. Changing Spaces is amazing and I am patting myself on the back for have chosen them for our move. more

I grew up and married into the military, so I have moved more than most people. When Eric and Brandon moved me this June I had the most relaxing, perfect move I have ever experienced...ever!Everything from being on time to a great price made me actually enjoy the move. Eric and Brandon were such great men that my family and I were ready to adopt them when the move was over. Seriously, the experience was wonderful and I would not only use Changing Spaces again I would recommend them to anyone moving anything from a room to an estate. MJFrost more

The first time I called Movers by Changing Spaces Moving I spoke to Peg. She was very helpful. She answered all of my questions. I told her that I had a lot of antique furniture and she assured me that all the pieces would be well taken care of. Peg put my mind at ease about the move. Three young men showed up for the pick up. They gave me a time when they would come and they showed up just when they said they would. My things were well taken care of. When we got to the new place I only told them where I wanted things once. I never had to repeat myself. They put the things right where I wanted them. I couldn't have asked for anything better. more

Thank you for making a stressful time so much easier. On February 13th, three wonderful guys showed up to move my parents from one retirement home to another in B'ham. (Original retirement home changed Director's...bad scene....) This is the second move that Changing Spaces has performed for us. Each time they were so kind, professional, and patient. And it's not just the movers that make it so special. The office staff guides you along the way providing options that will make the move smoother and faster (who else is concerned about you not having to pay for downtime while you can't use the elevators at the retirement homes?) I sincerely hope that I don't have to use Changing Spaces for a third time, but I guarantee that if I did have to plan another move, they would get the phone call! Movers by Changing Spaces Moving Inc. was a pleasure to deal with. There was one glitch, and that was that we had to change our moving date at the last minute. They were willing to do that, even though it probably meant a lot of reshuffling for them, but they were able to pull it off, which helped to make it a good experience for us. Also, the guys they sent out to do the unloading, since we loaded on our own, were great. They were really patient and professional. Even though we were being charged by the hour, they managed to work quickly, all the while keeping our furniture as safe as we had imagined. I would definitely use their services again! Movers by Changing Spaces Moving were on time and used their time wisely. They bill by the hour, but are quick workers. They really were professional and knew what they were doing. I had a grandfather clock, piano, and a few antiques and they did a great job with them. more

Changing Spaces showed up right on time. Adam and Korey walked through the house to get instructions on what was going and what was staying. They literally ran from the truck to the house to get the next items to load, so you do not have to worry about paying by the hour. These guys did not slow down all day! Also, they have great memories. Once we arrived at the new home, they walked through and immediately knew where to put everything! more

At the beginning of my experience with Changing Spaces Moving, when they packed me up to move, there were only two gentlemen, and one of them was pretty sick. I had to keep feeding him ginger chews and ginger ale, and he eventually ended up leaving early because he as feeling too bad, leaving the one gentleman to work alone. I was not thrilled about that, however, the when the were unloading they brought another whole truck of four or five more gentlemen to move me in. They were unbelievably fast! I wish it was that way on both ends! Overall though, I was thrilled with it all. more

This was my first experience with Movers by Changing Spaces Moving. They were recommended to me by my storage place. My mother had died, and we were moving her stuff to storage. The movers were very nice and polite to me. They were very careful with her stuff, and when we got to the storage place, they arranged it so I could get in and out easily, I really appreciated how considerate they were. They are very nice, polite and respectable people. I would definitely recommend them to anybody! more
