Not Sure where all the reviews came from everyone. Sure they have been in business for a long while and thought wow thing will go right at Central. \r We took a transmission in Monday the mechanic said to come back Friday at noon. So we called and he said call back at three. We stuck around town we live 45 mins away and called back at three no answer left a message twice with no return call. When we called Monday they still didn't touch it. We asked how much did they think it would be the original price quoted went from 500 now was up over 1000.00 We ended up going and picking up the transmission and are looking for somewhere that an actual person has a review. Super dissapointed more

My Scion started missing shift and was not picking up like it used to. When I brought it in, the guys here at Central were nice and started on my car right away. They came and told me a fair estimate and I agreed to the repairs. It actually turned out to be less than the original estimate because they had included the worst case scenario. The cost was very reasonable. My car runs great now and I will be back for anything else. more

There were a couple places I got estimates from, most of them telling me I should buy a new transmission. I was not going to do that because I didn’t think the problem could be that serious. Central transmission had a great price and the person I dealt with was a pleasure to deal with. I was extremely happy with the services provided. more

We knew our transmission was going out and would soon need to be replaced. When that happened we just dropped it off and picked it up a few days later. They did a great, fast job on the trans and got it back sooner than we had originally thought. more

My Impala is an old LT1 cop car and I wanted to freshen up the transmission with a flush and a shift kit. Central had the perfect kit in mine and ordered it for me. The car shifts great now and I love it. It’s exactly what I was looking for. more

They were nice over the phone and gave us a quote for the rebuild. That price was the same when we arrived there to drop of the car and the same when we picked it up. We were glad to find an upfront, honest mechanic. The car is running well with no problems so I can vouch for their work as well. more

My brother told me to come here when I was having some issues with my transmission in my old Dodge. I was sure they were going to tell me some outrageous cost to fix it, but they quoted me way under my expectations. So I let them do the job and have had no problems since that time. Glad I listened to my brother and got my truck done in one visit. more

Nobody likes to pay more than they have to for car repair. Unfortunately, cars are no infallible and they do wear and break occasionally. I am happy to report that taking my car to Central Transmission did not break my bank for my repair. It was a pleasure being there, they even brought me into the garage to show me what was broken and what needed fixing. There was a leak in one of the lines in my car and it was clearly leaking everywhere. Fixed it on time and my car runs great again. more

Ok- we all know transmission work can be expensive- a fair amount of labor and lots of parts spinning around inside an aluminum case. Ive been to central twice over the years and both time, Central Transmission and their crew have done expert work at a reasonable price.. They go out of their way to explain the diagnosis and what your options are. more

I knew it was going to take a lot to get my car up and running but I was surprised to get my bill when I took it into Central Transmission. They were able to do an overhaul on my car without breaking the bank. I came here with a strong recommendation that they will take care of me. I haven't had the best luck choosing mechanics, but I was assured these guys are good. They took care of my car, and while I had some issues still afterwards, they took it back again and now it's running perfectly. more

They had to rebuild my transmission after finding pieces of metal in the transmission fluid. I barely got it in there that day and they took care of everything. Within a few days they had the job done and since then I've had no problems whatsoever. more

They put in a rebuilt transmission about a year ago and I recently started having some trouble with it. I brought it back in and they took care of it under their warranty with no trouble whatsoever. If that's not excellent service I don't know what is! more

I have an old caddy that is kind of a sentimental project. When I bought the tranny for a rebuild they seemed very interested in the car and working on it. Many shops shun old cars, I don't know why, they should be easier to work on, But they took good care of me and the old caddy. more
