Great shop! 8/2/2011

My Carolla started missing shift and slowed going up hills. When I brought it in, they were nice and started looking at the car immediately. They came back with a good estimate and I went ahead with the repairs. It was less than the invoice since they gave me an estimate that included a worst case scenario. The cost was very reasonable. The car runs great now and I was amazed!!! more

I took my car here to get a transmission leak repaired so I could park in the driveway again. The guys here had it up on the rack and figured out in no time. The cost to fix the leak was pretty minimal and it doesnt leak a drop. more

Great Business 7/5/2011

I had Central Transmission install a re-built transmission in my car and they did a good job. Everything was fine, now about a year late, I began to have some problems again so I brought the car back to Central. They pulled up the records of my previous visit no problem and honored their warranty with no questions asked. If that's not great - then I don't know what is! more

After taking my car here its great! This is a great shop with fast work at a good price and nice folks there as well. My car drives so much better after a visit to Central. I will use them again. more

I have an old Caddy that is kind of a sentimental project. When I brought the tranny there for a rebuild they seemed very interested in the car and working on it. Many shops shun old cars, I don?t know why, they should be easier to work on? But they took good care of me and the old caddy. more

I brought my car in because it wouldn?t shift out of park. I moved the lever and nothing would happen. I had it towed to the shop and they figured out the problem pretty quick and I was outta there for under a $100. I figured it was a transmission problem that would cost a lot more. more

A friend of mine referred me to Central Transmission and I sure am glad he did. They did a great job and charged a fair price. Although it took a little longer than I thought it would... it was worth the wait. My car is running better than ever and the service was top notch. more

Worst Automotive Shop I Have Ever Used 3/28/2011

Central Transmission is the worst business I have ever dealt with in 35 years of owning automobiles. I purchased a 1999 VW Eurovan Camper from a Lynnwood carlot Oct. 31 2010. The transmission was not shifting correctly so an agreement was made by the carlot to repair the problem. They chose Central Transmission because they advertised themselves as ""Eurovan Transmission Specialists"" to do the repair. more

Satisfied Customer 1/8/2010

My trusted mechanic found a rebuilt trans w/30K/3Y warranty for $5300, total estimate $6200(incl tax), installed. I looked around and was skeptical when Central quoted me $2400, installed (+ tax). It's been 4 or 5 weeks and the car is running and shifting fine, no leaks or other problems. The ""lifetime"" fluid specified by BMW was an additional $80, and they took 4 days instead of the promised 3, but no other disappintments or surprises. I am a satisfied customer. Pros: Less expensive than all other shops based on my research. Cons: Had to drive a car with a bad trans 30 miles to Kent more

Very unprofessional. The shop had my vehicle for two days and no work was ever done on it. Took my car in early in the morning for an estimate, but never got a call back. I called half an hour before they closed and this is when they probably scrambled and gave me a random estimate. The estimate was very low to get your business as I later found out the part alone cost more than the estimate. They said they will work on it first thing in the morning and will have it done by the afternoon tomorrow. Never got a call back until I called them during closing time and they said they did not have time to work on it. There was never an apology or anything and this is conducting directly with the owner. Cons: unprofessional more
