Centerville Animal Hospital PC

It took me ALL day to FINALLY calm down and post this review.... See those "smiling" faces on the home page for Centerville Animal Hospital?? DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT!!!! Only one person had a smile for us and that was the intern!!! She was nice and polite - NO ONE ELSE WAS!!!! No courtesy of "Please" "Thank You" or "I'm sorry to keep you waiting"!!!! I must say that we were seen promptly at 3pm when our appointment was scheduled AND it didn't take long to give our cat some shots that was needed for her sensitive skin due to fleas... Thankfully, the Vet himself was extremely helpful and informative about controlling the fleas and where to seek out their eggs - which I promptly started working on once I got home with the products I bought at PetSmart. I was so upset by the "bedside manner" of these callous women - one was ignoring me until I spoke up - that I called to cancel the appointment that I made for our other cat with sensitive skin. I have found another Vet to take care of him. more

This is one of the finest Animal Hospitals I have ever been to, in my long history of pet ownership. All of the staff are warm caring people, who genuinely care about animals, and understand the about the emotional stress of illness on the pets and their owners. The Vets are tops, and always willing to take time with the animals and the owners. They are there to help and to teach. They should be cloned. more

Terrible customer service. Very high prices. In general not happy with my experience. I would not recommend this office. more

I was referred to this animal hospital by a friend so I expected my experience to be a good one. I was not expecting what I walked into. As soon as I arrived and opened the door at 2:00 for my 2:30 appt. I was hit with this awful smell and no one seemed concerned about it. Then after filling out my paper work I had to locate someone to hand it back to. I was informed that she was the only one up front at the moment as everyone else was still at lunch. I was not called back for my appt until almost 3:00 and I was the only one there. The doctor was very matter of fact and quiet. I had to inquire about what he was doing to my dog. All the while there was very audible yelling coming from somewhere in the back of the building. Presumably at an animal. Again no one seemed to notice or care. Like it was an normal occurring. Once the exam was completed I had to wait and addition 20 min to pay. I did not leave my 2:30 appt until almost 4:00. I have since found another veterinarian in the area and have not been back to this one. more

Over the 26 years that I have lived here I would not go anywhere else. Centerville Animal Hospital has the most respected vets overall and the staff is so enjoyable to work with. Especially Judi the office manager who I met thru bringing all my pets there. I have had all kinds of situations arise good and not so good with my pets and my animals were always taken care of with loving respect. They are there to help in any way they can. Overall the whole staff is a credit to the Veterinary Profession. more

My pet has gone to this animal clinic for 3 years. I've not had problems with the doctors or the office staff, but the groomer here is terrible. I boarded my dog over the holidays and requested that he get a bath. I was very specific in stating that he not get cut. I pick him up, and he's been given a hair cut. I call this morning to ascertain where the communication breakdown occured and was forwarded to the groomer. I didn't ask to speak with the groomer, but I was forwarded there anyway. I explained that my dog was cut and I didn't want him cut and that I didn't like the cut. The groomer, Diana, proceeded to yell at me that ""everytime she's had my dog on her table she cuts him, and that she only cut an inch off."" She would not allow me to speak. She was extremely rude. I stopped letting her cut my dog two years ago because it doesn't matter how I tell her I want him cut, she cuts him the way she wants. I never want her touching my dog again. I spoke with the office manager who finally let me know that there is a grooming sheet that is required that they didn't have me complete. This was all I called for...to see where the communication faltered. I did let the office manager know how rude and unprofessional the groomer was to me, and I was not screaming, yelling, or rude to her. When I realized how volatile and unreasonable she was, I requested that she forward me back to the front desk so I could speak with the office manager. She continued to yell and huff at me, and then she just clicked the line away. Even though I like the doctors, I'll be taking my dog elsewhere. I'm not paying money to have someone yell at me. It bothers me that they employ someone as unprofessional and rude as the groomer. more

My dog was covered with fleas that I could not control. I took my dog in for a drip and I have not had any problem since then. They took care of my dog, and I was very pleased with that. more

My family uses Centerville Animal Hospital for our dog and they are wonderful. They are all very personable and genuinely love working with animals. Our dog is a large german shepherd mix but she can be quite the baby! They are always very patient with her and we are consistently pleased with the results. The also offer grooming services there, as well are regular veterinary services. It saves us time and money to be able to knock out both at one time. Definitely a great place to go!\r \r P.S. They even have little gumball machines in the lobby with free treats for your animals! more

I am transferring from Banfield pet hospital to the Centerville Animal Hospital and I have to say that I am more than pleased with the care and service of all of the staff. \r \r The women at the front desk are always helpful and courteous. The doctors are kind and very professional.\r \r I would recommend this hospital to anyone.\r \r Thank you. more
