This is absolutely the worst experience I've had with a Dentist office in my entire 40+ years of going to a Dentist. I recently moved to this area, and used my insurance provider to find a Dentist. When I called at the beginning of the year, I was told I couldn't get in for the first appointment for 3 months! The only good thing about that appointment was the Dentist himself - he seemed very nice. Unfortunately his practice is so mismanaged and disorganized, and his staff has no care or concern for his patients. After the initial appt, I needed to set up my first cleaning.... the only appointment they had... was in 6 MORE MONTHS! I felt I had no choice, so I took it, and waited. One week before the appointment - i got a confirmation call, that informed me that they had moved locations. The messge only said that they were now at the intersection of 192/Celebration Ave. - and not downtown Celebration. No problem I thought - I'll leave extra early, just in case I have trouble finding it. Well... I DID have trouble finding it.. I drove around that area for 20-30 minutes and couldn't find it. I typed it into my GPS, and it gave me the address of 400 Celebration Place. THAT NOT THE ADDRESS! That's the Celebration Hospital. I finally called the downtown office again, to get directions by phone. I was immediately placed on hold, for 15 MINUTES - and then finally told the new office is across the street from Celebration, and not actually IN CELEBRATION. I arrived at 9:30 for a 9:15 appt. The soft spoken- but uninterested receptionist ( and my waiting hygenist) both said I was too late for my appointment and they couldn't take me. The receptionist said my appt. was scehduled for 9am ( not true - I still have the appointment card for 9:15) The offered to reschedule me for 11am but I had another Dr. appointment at that time. I was fuming - I was late for the appt because their own staff putting me on hold for 15 minutes. After waiting 6 months for a simple cleaning - I just told them I'd find another dentist. After 2 visits - I had enough and it wasn't worth the time. Sorry Dr. Russo - your staff, and their lack of attention to their job and your patients has lost you some more business. I should bill you for today's lost time.
